Easy process. Convenient. Wait time for video verification was about 1 minute. The person on the other side was quick and efficient. Once the verification was complete, I was able to then forward to a government agency to obtain some personal information.
So the irs needs to confirm my identity cause I sent in a late tax return. Went to ID.me and whoop boom boom bam, done just like that, I mean it didn't take long at all Confirmed my identity with the IRS I think they're releasing my back monies!

There was a previous question asking do you trust id.me I don't know trust has to be earned not given I don't know how you're going to be using that information in a positive or negative way. Cuz a lot of people like myself have a distrust of the government. Yes I think it should be used on all government websites to weed out the people that are potentially illegal aliens and or wanted by other federal agencies.
Every single time you visit / login to a site requiring ID.me, you're redirected to ID.me, because these individuals cannot handle /set browsing data properly. It's like clickbait, but worse!

ID.me was very clever that it could interface with my iPhone while I was using my desktop computer. This made uploading my ID and selfie so easy- actually, it was fun! Kudos to the developer/designer that created this functionality.
Very pleased with the level of security. Multiple steps to take but all are relatively easy. I like that ID.me is used across multiple agencies so I don't have to create so many passwords.
