There a scam they don't verify anything regardless of how many documents you upload there support is useless and don't do anything besides blame the issue on you saying you did something wrong even though its a clear system issue

Can't use it to log in to the IRS website as a business, because it is used for my personal. Can't start a business account with the same email. I use my email for both. Now I can't log in to the IRS site as a business.

I first used ID.me when a website required me to use it to verify my military service. I was able to create a account and had no problems. Recently one of the websites that I had used ID.me to verify will be requiring me to reverify with ID.me. It has been nothing but problems with ID.me since then. You cannot talk to a person only "chat" with an AI robot that doesn't understand an answer to the question it asked, if it wasn't programed for that answer.
I clicked on Contact me and then added a phone number. When I tried to proceed, I was given an error message. The Survey would not allow me to add a phone number and ask for a call. I had to proceed without being able to answer the question correctly.
Having this has made my web experiences with government sites so much easier and I feel safer signing in to use the sites recommended

Took forever to get this done. Long process and had to wait almost two hours for upload of info and then since did not have camera on computer had to stop and load app on my phone to finish the process
This experience was so easy. Being an elderly person, people don't usually have patience with us, but the young lady who assisted me was very calm, patient and professional which made the entire experience so much easier.
Anytime I want to login social security or other governmental services I have the option to use id.me or my own username and password. I found using id.me is much faster and hassle free after the first time that I created an account. If I have the option using id.me, I will definitely choose that option

I was totally discouraged to see that as soon as I enrolled, that I received an unsolicited ad. This is definitely a conflict for a private citizen to experienceconducting private business with a government agency. The enrollment process was successful but am turned off about what happened here. You will immediately stop selling citizen private information.
A very easy way to access certain accounts. ID.me allow you to access your account without having to worry about passwords or security. Very satisfied with using it.
While attempting to log in to a. Gov site, it was required to send a passcode to my phone; however, my Pbone was damaged and unusable. There is no other option available to update your phone number or use a temporary number on another phone to receive a temporary code to log in and update your phone number.
Had a heck of a time getting photos of documents to upload. Got no notice that photos were rejected or why, just kept winding up back at the photo screen. At one point had entered two front of license pictures, because there's no notice on the camera screen which photo is being uploaded.
A bit like this review page, which says self-identification is optional, when in fact submittal isn't allowed without it.
