All they collect is your license details and your SSN.
It doesn't log in to any SS accounts.
I suspect that it's 100% a fraud and scam.

With ID.me it was easier than the other logn in. They actually do a video call and examine your documents live. After that it was so easy.

I did not feel uncomfortable, giving out my information and it was one of the clearer government websites I've ever experienced

I tried uploading document images more than ten times and they were rejected, since I was uploading them from my laptop, while the same images were accepted when I uploaded them from my phone. There was no instruction on the website to upload them directly from the phone without going through WhatsApp.

I lived and worked in America for almost 20 yrs so now in retirement I receive social security and have to file taxes. This method of verification is excellent for me as I now live outside America. The process of being permitted to enroll was very efficient, with a live video call to prove who I am, including verification of id paperwork. I feel extremely safe and confident in using ID.me.

Do not give over your biometrics to this company. Give up your license before allowing them to collect this intimate information. It is not worth it in the long run.

I have used IDME for many years & have never had a problem getting approved or with my personal info. I would recommend it to everyone. You have to provide all the info they require in order to get approved after that it is all easy!

Very fast, beneficial, and precise. Also the website is very easy to maneuver through and understand for those who may not be as tech savvy.

id.me polices services that every American has the ability to apply for without surveillance. There is no doubt that many people have been turned away with no help and are scared to speak up this is fatuous.
There should not be a point of contact refusal. The point that you are American gives you the right to services. Id.me is blocking citizens from their rights.

And, obviously it was not tested before put into operation. The manager of this should be fired.

Social security log in failed and I was able to use ID.me to log in. Giving a choice of log in methods helps when the site's own log in method fails a legitimate user.

I love ID me because it makes it easy to access information from sites that needs extreme security like the social security, IRS and like sites. Signing up takes some time however it's worth it in the end.

I wish more companies, such as credit card companies, would utilize ID.me for their obligatory multi-factor identification. As the code changes everytime you use it, the secure factor is definitely there. And it is so easy to use with their app on your phone.

After signing up the first time for a government website and providing my information, it was easy to sign up for another government website. I felt assured that my information was safe.

After verifying everything for my identity, my ID.me account was officially open, although it loses 1 star for suspending my account in the first place.
