After signing up the first time for a government website and providing my information, it was easy to sign up for another government website. I felt assured that my information was safe.
After verifying everything for my identity, my ID.me account was officially open, although it loses 1 star for suspending my account in the first place.

It took me another 2 photo attempts today to get my ID documents approved. I am glad I still get some paper Social Security documents in the mail. I otherwise was not able to BREAK into my social security account for over a year because of your glitchy sign in process. I hope that now that I am signed in i won't have any further problems. My experience with ID.me doesn't give me a great deal of confidence.
I am also concerned about the use/possible abuse of my biometric data. I would like an easy way to remove said data if I so chooses. My privacy and 4th amendment rights are important to me.

I dreaded doing this, everything is so difficult to get done today, nothing goes smoothly but it did with ID.me. Don't procrastinate like i did, it was always in the back of my mind to do, just do it.
Rejecting were NOT very effective to correct, especially after many photo events of documents or IDs. Descriptions of why and how to correct would be very helpful. When the annoyance factor gets high, the support for the method greatly falls!

It was easy to create a user account. Useing your account after you register they give you step by step instructions. It is also away to see what is happening with your applications and if you need to send further identificatoins. And it made me feel as of my information was safe

I have attempted to work the process over many days. I need to verify my identity in order to apply for jobs. I have found ID.me to be terrible! The processes offered are non-functional. I could not confirm the option and proceed with taking a photograph of my state ID! I could not register to go to a post office because my phone number is not recognized! Because of those, I am now on deferred retirement, so no longer have a work number! I am in the process of getting a code by mail, and can only hope that (God willing) the process will work this time. Verifying my identity is essential, and this process is unwieldy, frustrating, and nonfunctional! It just doesn't work. I fear that my information and my identity have been compromised! Immediate work is needed to be done to return this process to operability. What a terrible, broken process! I'm very glad to speak in further detail with any representative who would care to call me..

I needed a document from the IRS for an important situation, and I had to go on the web site to get it. It was very difficult to get at first, but I finally figured it out. When I figured it out it was very easy and I was very amazed, very satisfied with the process because I felt my information was very safe, especially the way you had to get it and use it to identify yourself.
