This app is about as worthless at the government that sent me to them. I will gladly add 30 more words to say just how disgusted I am with them. It's beyond garbage... Just like the government.

Twice now I went to the verification process and successfully verify my identity only to find out that id.me had entered my birthday wrong both times. I can't even get access to my unemployment claim because it is impossible to reach anyone there. I have written email several times only to get back robotic responses.

My mother had a stroke from covid, i had a good job and had to move a long way to help her and my dad. I had to apply for unemployment, which I am not proud of, but there were no jobs near in relation to my profession. I had to use id.me and it was a joke. I had my maiden name on passport and old address bc of my move on license. So I proceeded to use the other is option. Social security card, drivers license and pay stub, it still did not accept. I don't know if this company realizes that people move due to emergency's and people also get married. I called twc for help and they could only refer me back to if.me which had no phone number "due to security reasons?"!?... I have put in more than 3 request for help with customer support. No one calls or emails. They have a "video verification" but it only happens if they accept your documents. It looks like this company does other business, I would NOT recommend them. It is poorly put together when it comes to customer support.

Is hurting me

I d me I want everybody to know that reads this review I can understand why they are rated at 1 if it was a zero I will rate them a zero I submitted my ID me information on March 22nd only for them to tell me they did not receive it I redid it April 11th here it is June 8th I cannot get no one to return a phone call there is no valid number that you can talk to someone because of this i d me I have had great hardship because of ID me they say it takes 3 to 5 business days it has taken me 3 months and I still have no results. And what's so bad about it is when you call the one *******661 number the people are so rude they hang up on you I've had a couple of people tell me I don't know what to tell you how sad when your life is in someone else's hands and they don't think enough of you to even return a phone call we are in trouble with ID me. It makes you wonder why would twc use a company. Out of 395 reviews has a score of a. One. That shows incompetency it makes you really wonder why does. This company even exist.

Worst site ever

What can I say? This site doesn't work, is slow, and has terrible customer support. I am so (not) thrilled that our government uses it to verify people. How reassuring! (not)

Id.me is an "identity verification" racketeering corporation whom, in collusion with governmental entities, is stopping umployment compensation to a large percentage of those whom such compensation is entitled.

I have put together a petition to combat this criminal corporation, however without signatures nothing can be done.

Suspended accounts for known reasons. This means you could write a script to fix this and people would not be down for more than a few seconds. Do the states want this NO. They want to NOT pay. Sue them easy win worth Billions nation wide.

Worst company ever
June 2, 2021

This company has been sending me scripted emails since the month of April. This company is supposed to verify you for unemployment which is a government agency, but finds ways not to verify you. I have uploaded the proper documents that were asked and still no help. The wait time is 5 hours and they give you a video to watch knowing that you would never get through to anyone. This company is a scam and a fraud and should not be used for the purposes of a government agency. They go so far is lying and tell you you can leave your browser up and when you click back in you'll be back in the slot that you left off. When you go back to that slots the time has increased back up to 4 hours and 58 minutes. I have even email the owner of this company with no response but I will get a scripted email 2 weeks later telling me a member of their support team is going to contact me at the earliest convenience. I'm just thinking now it's the way for the government agency not to do their job and to put it off on this company. Known it's a li e and Ms Lee their customers on a witch Hunt.

THIS APP HAS CAUSED People to lose their benifts, not receive them and has contributed to homeless, or late bills
This company runs your credit information and sells data to other people. It locks you put of OUR EMERGENCY FEDERAL OR STATE INCOME WE WORKED TO EARN.
THE APP NEVER WORKS, IT NEEDS YOU TO UPLOAD AND ID THEN SAYS IT IS NOT GOOD THEN REGURDLESS YOU NEED A VIDEO CALL THAT YOU NEVER GET. MAKES YOU UPLOAD DOCUMENTS THEN WAIT THREE DAYS FOR A STATE APPROVAL.

Ever since CDLE went to this system, I have had nothing but issues. I received an email from this company that I was verified on 3/29/21. They STILL have not sent my information to CDLE. My benefits are being held up by this company! When I try to go into my account, it says it is temporarily suspended. After several emails, still not help. All I get is computer generated emails that they apologize and are working on my ticket! No stars, they are HORRIBLE WITH NO SUPPORT AT ALL!

Headache

I'm starting to think that this site was put in place to specifically deny people of UI. They claimed that my phone number was "too new" to use as a MFA (I've had the same number over 20 years) so I did the face scan and upload my ID. This didn't work so I had to upload 2 more docs and wait on line for over 2 hours to speak with a rep. When it was FINALLY my turn, one of my docs was rejected. I had to upload another doc and went back into the queue for over 40 minutes. I finally gave up because it would go down to a 20 minute wait and then back to a 40 minute wait. Today I tried again. Sent a SCAN of a new doc and they rejected it as a "screenshot". I firmly believe these people are a bunch of sadists. There's just NO WAY that they couldn't clearly read the do that I sent in. I get it, there's a lot of fraud out there, but there's also A LOT of people that need UI and they PAID FOR IT WITH THEIR TAXES. EDD needs to dump this website ASAP.

I was attempting to make a purchase for the new Galaxy S21 Ultra phone from Samsung website so I could get my government employee discount and a discount for my Galaxy S8. Samsung has teamed up with ID.me to verify government employees by using their government email address where they send a confirmation link. I created a ID.me account using the same email address as my Samsung account, received the link and confirmed. So when I go back to Samsung site to check out, it lead me back to ID.me. I attempt to log in but it said email or Password incorrect. I know it wasn't because I used the same Password I used for other generic sites. OK so maybe I did forget the password, I clicked on "Forgot Password" and it says the email address could not be found. Get this how is that when they sent a account created confirmation to the same email address. I chatted with a rep on Samsung site for almost an hour trying to figure it out. Finally I told him Good-night I've decided to buy an iPhone instead, trying to deal with ID.me literally gave me a migraine headache, I not kidding. Samsung S21 Ultra and the migraine headache I endured was not worth the price of the phone. ID.me gets your information then pretend you doesn't exist. For Samsung to team up with ID.me was a terrible ideal because they lost a customer to Apple.

I have been trying to get my ID.me verification for Colorado unemployment since 4 April 2021. I. have been on the phone now over 300 hours trying to get this done. I have been through 2 Trusted Referee Video Calls and still have not been am to get them to tell Colorado that I am verified. I have sent them over 40 emails the first one sent 04 April, 2021. They have never answered a single one. If you are inline waiting on the referee. If they don't want to work they just kick you back to the waiting which has happened to me so far today 7 times. I started 0730am CST it is now 534 pm CST and I am still not done as they just kicked me back to the waiting room again. Not only that I have had a verified ID with ID.me since January 2021 and am still getting messed over by them. I am 6 weeks behind in getting my unemployment because of them fixing to lose my place to live and my van which means I will have a harder time looking for work because no place to sleep shower or a way to get job interviews

I have been waiting for ID.Me to verify clients via email for almost a month now with no response except that a auto reply that they will get it fixed as fast as they can. I'm sure all of the discounts will be over by then. I wish they wouldn't use them. The phone number for corporate is a joke too with an automatic voicemail. I don't know how my big company uses them at all! I am going to start writing emails to companies that use them and let them know how much of a joke this company is! They are using this for fake discounts they think people are actually getting.
