ID.ME verification process sucks. They do not take your livelihood into consideration, If so you would not have to wait weeks for verification. Email sucks, you will get nowhere with that. Expect no serious help News stations like CNN-Fox news have more success than us.

I was prompted by the Texas WOrkforce Commission to visit this website to verify my identity. Submitting pictures of my driver's license was a slow process because of the length of time this website required to upload two pictures. After thirty minutes I logged out an tried the next day. The upload took one minute, so I thought good progress could be made to completion. WRONG! When prompted to take a video selfie on my phone, it has not been forty-five minutes for the upload to complete. There is no back-button to try again, so I had to logout to try again. This website is painfully slow and when I called the help line it went to voicemail.

ID.me SUCKS!

I had to pay $12.00 for a new driver's license and they still haven't excepted it, then I got locked out of my account because it wouldn't except my saved Google password, now I don't have a cellphone because I can't afford it anymore and it won't except my free Google Hangout number! Today I tried to save their 6 digit number through Google and they are not excepting the number they gave me... ID.me SUCKS!

The support system do this company is a joke I've been dealing with them for over seven months now it is July 2021 and they still not have accomplished this simple task that I asked of them they've always sent me back thanks for contacting customer support they've never got anything done and this is affecting multiple things in my life just because they need to have this verification for me but yet the support system doesn't take me very seriously I've left my number several times and they still have not contacted me

Required by the IRS to opt out of the child tax credit thing. It asked for DL and Passport, took clear easily legible 4k photos and it said it couldn't identify them. Had to video chat with someone and show them the same documents and they gave me the run around. Such a waste of time; has to be one of the worst verification companies on the planet. I can't believe this is who the IRS went with for signing in.

Id.me keeps denying the documents I send for different reasons: the picture has a glare (I sent at least 10 different versions of my ID and none had a glare), the same with my passport (it wouldn't recognize it), the phone number could not be verified (though I sent the right number multiple times). I also did the vwebcam selfie video and it still wouldn't work. To say this company is a joke is an understatement.

It will not accept perfectly good photos of my Colorado Driver's license. You can zoom in and see each and every detail on the photos. To go around this requirement you can do a video interview with a pile of acceptable documents. What crappy way to verify identity. If you are who are who you say you are. The Identification process should be quick and easy and 100% accurate. I'm trying to do this for the IRS so that I can refuse to accept my stupid Child Credit Payment which I don't want or need. Want to talk about citizen suppression here it is.

I followed every prompt, uploaded my docs, it even said "Submitted!" However, when I look for docs, nothing is there! I explain myself and submit to the "contact us" and someone sends me instructions to do what I'd already done. I am stuck in a loop of nothingness. I just want to speak to a human! Is it that hard? Really? Can't get in touch with a human at NJ Unemployment. I even reached out to my state constituent who sent several emails to NJ Div. Of Unemployment. Three months after my original claim, I get an email that says my claim is locked and I need to provide ID through "ID Me" which is not working either. This is unfreakinbelievable.

Scammers

I have shown a picture of my drivers license and then they asked for my social security number. Then I was told their system was down and I would have to do the process over I told them I thought it was a scam and I was going to contact BBB as well as legal action. They said we already have your information. I don't trust these people at all considering it was for a job and I had not even been hired yet.

I've never dealt with something so outrageous before. Not only can you not reach them by phone, they do not respond to you when you submit a form. Only emails saying someone will be with you shortly but no one ever calls. I have a family, and bills that are just piling up due to my hours being cut at work. While i've been applying to other jobs i still require unemployment, which can't be processed because even with all of the proper documents id me still fails to verify who i am and i'm at my wits end. This company, or program is simply a waste of everyone's time and is doing more harm than good for those that truly need help. The unemployment offices should feel ashamed and downright embarrassed to really on such a terrible system

I try to post my information and it wouldn't take it. I upload it and it still wouldn't take it. It gave a message it couldn't find my content on my driver's license. Now I have to schedule video help. The worse app ever to use and you end up getting frustrated. VEC only giving you 14 days to complete this task or they will cut off your funds...

UPDATE... I called the toll free number because I had to do the same with the IRS and did the video with a live person and they passed my identity.

They sell your personal info (accept California). Run your credit score, purposely locked you out.
WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY of your documents. No matter how clear they are, how up to date they are.
They have lobbied States to get paid millions.
You can not even speak a to representative or video call someone. I uploaded my DD214, Video selfie, birth certificate, State Driver's License and even a bank statement all with same, up to Date address.
NOTHING.
Now I am filing a lawsuit. They have taken away our ability to access our personal, entitled and earned unemployment benefits income. Results in some losing everything they have or not being able to even file for jobs because they are waiting hours to to a video call and get nothing. Each day.
THIS IS DONE ON PURPOSE TO END FPUC AND UNEMPLOYMENT. Funny all the States that where cutting it suddenly START USING IT 1 MONTH BEFORE THEY CUT FPUC. THATS NOT A COINCIDENCE. AT ALL. Wow. Republicans, already make us suffer more, then lock is out right before you are cutting FPUC. So no unemployment or FPUC. AND YOU SAY JOE BIDEN IS A SOCIALIST. YOU ALL ARE THE REAL Castro's or modern times.

Useless and so slow

This is the app Virginia Employment commission using for id verification but the app itself is so slow and nowhere i found you cant use iPhone 6 or less to verify your identity. Basically it doesnt work when you have old model cell phone for its ID video and photo verification

I've been trying to get verified since Arpil 30! It's now June 15th. I'm homeless and I need this to go thru. They have emailed me to say someone will contact me shortly but still no one has. When I try to email them again I just get another ticket number, apology, and a statement that they'll get back to me in a timely manner. No customer service number no viable help or answers please someone turn this place in. I understand high call volumes but hire more people. Awful. Wouldnt recommend this place to any company at least not if you value your customers!
