ID.me is an scam, they only work in exchange of big money obtain for hurting individuals like they are doing now with Florida unemployment by helping Florida DEO to save money and don't pay unemployed in so much need. Workers unions should sue ID.me and get it out of business.

After ID.me gave their blessing to the imposter, and aided in the imposter's illegal activities, which caused harm to me and my property. ID.me. Allowed my imposter to take control over my ID.me account and my identity, by allowing the imposter the change to change the email and phone number associated to my ID.me account and never questioned the email used buy a female trying to steal my identity and also dumb founded ID.me made no attempt to contact me at any of the credentuals provided before making the changes. After the four monyhs and countless attempts to inform ID.me I finally convinced ID.me to close the account and allow no one in till i can verify my info, they sent an email to the imposter. Before launching the investigation againg protecting the imposter from prosecution. There is no other way to contact ID.me except through email. After countless attempts ID.me finally responded. Several days later having convinced ID.me to at the very least shut down the account until my identity can be verified, this way no one uses it. As far as i am concerned ID.me is directly responsible for the harm that occurred to me and my property. I am opposed to ID.me have access to any thing associated to my identity. Is directly responsible for the harm to me and my property. I am apposed and unsupportive of ID.me having access to any thing involving my identity.

Burn it to the ground!

Absolute worst ID. Verification site on the planet! I feel unsafe submitting this absurd amount of information to get verified. I mean if the hackers didn't have all my information already, I'm 100% positive they have it now. At one point I thought they were going to request a picture of my dog, or for a mole on my $#*! to be sent in for DNA verification. I mean good lord am I applying for the secret service!

One really needs to clear a few days or week to get through the video chat. Expect to be waiting for 48 hours. Their chat help is no help; it has only automated question that don't even offer proper options. It is the circle of death.

I was requested by the Texas Workforce Commission to verify my identity with id.me. Worst Company I have ever dealt with! I tried to do a simple confirmation and it was denied and when I asked for ID.ME assistance it took them from the time I applied on June 6 and they responded to my assistance on July 9. I have lost my benefits because of ID.ME and I hold them responsible for this. This company is Horrible and abusive. The Officers of this company should be charged with Criminal/Fraud.

Failed service
August 19, 2021

I am trying to re-activate my account but it is requiring me to verify my account via MFA with a phone number (old work number) that I no longer have accessed to. They direct me to a form to resolve and create a ticket with no expectation of when it is getting resolved. They are leaving me hanging. There should be several clear paths to resolve this. But they offer none online and it is completely indeterminate when or if they will get back to me. I will tell CA EDD to replace their service with something that works. I think I just need to go into an unemployment office.

This company. I don't trust, it wants my drivers license then a selfie, then your social security number, this to me is scary too much government in my personal business, but then states its for your protection, I don't believe that, everywhere you go the government wants your information, makes everything a pain in the neck you have to show proof of who you are just to fly anywhere

I wish all of ID.me Member Support Representative (name Cierra) are all like her, then you will not have all this bad reviews. From the first time I received an email from Cierra regarding my verification issue with NV DETR, she figured out the first time what the problem is and find a solution ASAP. Shortly thereafter, I was 100% verified. The other four ID.me Support did not quite know what they're doing and it took four weeks before I was lucky enough to be help by Cierra. She did a hell of a job…. Great job!

Handsdown the worst online experience in my life. Tried for the (4th or 5th) and final time today. A total of (8 -10) hours of my life wasted that I will never get back. I'd rather stand in the line at the DMV on it's busiest day than ever do this again or try again.

THE NIGHTMARE COMPANY!

This nightmare of a company does not have a phone number to speak to live agent the only thing is voicemail is a joke of a company that Im not sure why TWC decided to use them.

I got a tax return from both state and federal They didn't seem to have a problem with verifying my ID. Massachusetts after 24 weeks of putting my claim on hold because they could not verify my ID told me then to go to ID. Me to verify my ID after going back and forth with customer service for two weeks at id me because no matter what I did their service would not work all I could do was open an account and that was it nothing would process, nothing worked, links did not work, links looped back around, couldn't upload anything, couldn't do anything a total absolute horrible web page was not optimized for phone use on Android in the case of my phones the only answer they could give me was to go to a library and use the public computer which seems kind of strange for a secure place like ID me to tell you to go to a public access computer to enter in all your personal private information and on a system that was failing to work for me as it was not too much confidence that they have anything secure or care about the security of the data or documents they get from people to verify their ID. I messed around for week when I get the message from mass pua that they denied my claim because I could not varify my ID with id.me.
24 weeks of waiting for something anything... Then they pull this with a company THAT SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO BE DOING THIS. THIS ID.ME COMPANY IS CRIMINAL AND SHOULD BE HELD RESPONSIBLE! I AM HOMELESS NOW AND LOST EVERYTHING! THE OWNER OF THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE PUT IN JAIL!

Have tried for days to opt out of the child tax credit. We site is an absolute joke and wont verify my information, every time I get close they redirect you to the beginning to re verify everything you just did. If this site works as a third party with our government then that's scary.

Dear government, don't pay this company with our tax dollars. Sue them instead, their stuff doesn't work. They did not deliver, they violated their contract. I can't manage my child tax credit because of this software. Fire them NOW!

I've tried to submit and verified my information for over 3 weeks. I've send continuously emails for support since they stated its a 24 hours 7 days a week company support. However, there hasn't been anyone contacted me nor has there been any response to any of the emails for over 5 days. Its just awful it has caused much of inconvenience and financial hardship since I can't claim Unemployment since my account now it shows its suspended. I don't understand how my Driver License was rejected and not recognized. Awful... just awful...

This is the worst site I have ever dealt with in my life! I have been submitting my documents since the beginning of May. I have submitted EVERYTHING I have. I have about 15 different phone numbers, they all lead you to the DEO. No answer there or anywhere. They are too busy to answer your phone and they do not have a call back feature! Again, I have been dealing with this for 3 MONTHS and I'm ready to go POSTAL! I wish I could give a rating of 0! 1

Bye bye to idme

I'm in politics instead of Nevada I have been experiencing some bad work ethics why this company I'm going to lobby very hard with the governor and also I'm going to push it with a lot of my colleagues that's with another states to go ahead and get rid of this company and let's get another third company because I have a lot of nevadaans it's very complaining and can't pay their bills or anything because ID me is not doing the job that they claim they was going to do when they got contracted so let's go to IMDb and the CEO it is titled bye-bye ID me cuz I promise and I've been in politics now for 14 years I will get rid of you well when I say get rid of you it doesn't mean deleting your company because that's your company but you will not be working for no state or especially no government facility when I'm finished I wish you have a pleasant day and I hope you feel the same way that you mail those people felt when they couldn't get their employment thank you

ID.me will aggravate you due to the lack of support, no phone to call anyone and inability to connect to the webpages provided in the text message you receive.
After submitting a request for help, I did get a reply stating help was available for an issue of uploading verification documents. After several attempts of taking photos and submitting them, I still was unable to complete the process. Then I received an email with an excuse of bad quality was reason documents were not accepted. Only reason I received the email is due to me sending one asking for update on whether the process worked. No indication or communication on the account page to indicate "in process" or if successful.

Aggravation on top of trying to deal with unemployment office is the end result.

I opted to go with an attempt with a "Trusted referee" on a video call and unable to connect with anyone.

So I tried to do my weekly unemployment verification and idme wouldn't let me in to my account it said duplicate account so I emailed them and after 2 weeks they emailed me stating there was 2 emails associated with my account so they suspend my email and allow the fraudulent email account access so I contact Nevada detr and after 2 weeks finally get ahold of a live agent who tells me someone has filed for unemployment in California now what the hell is up with this bull$#*! my unemployment was on hold for 4 1/2 months because 2 companies lied on me to get out of paying but they did get caught up n my back pay was issued now this bull$#*! wow state of Nevada great job picking these loozers

I've been trying to reach someone for OVER A MONTH. I've sent emails, and all they say is "an agent will reach out soon" Someone else created an account using an email that DOES NOT belong to me. I don't get any benefits. When I tried to create an account. ID.ME suspended my account. This service sucks. There need to be a better way to reach someone!
