I was leery when I first heard of ID.me. The thought of providing my personal information to this relatively unknown entity, at that time, was daunting. But after much research and implied approval by credit unions and government agencies, including the military and the IRS, I went for it and very happy I did. Having to verify my identity at one site as a gateway to others has proven to be very beneficial to me. Their guidance when I have questions has also been phenomenal. I am a happy camper!

I'ed signed up twice with online help.to get certified with ID:. The whole nine yards. IDs, Pictures, Online looking at person while doing it. Still can't login to it. It keeps saying that I have to get certifieded with ID: So since I can't use it I give it a rating of ( O) meaning until I can use it it sucks.

These security measures are the way of the future and at first, wasn't too thrilled about changing my login process. The ID.me folks were very thorough in verifying my identity and came up with a workaround when my computer camera didn't function. Now I have ID.me for most of my accounts and will probably switch entirely in the near future.
