I was stressing out trying to figure out if i was applying to the correct one but i think i got it figured out lol
I tried to access ssa.gov, but was still not able to access the secure site even with login.gov nor id.me.
Extremely BAD. After entering all my data, the site would not let me in. I believe this is a massive data scam.

The sign in process was extremely difficult and not very clear how to proceed. Calling the number for assistance was also not helpful, I was just told there was a link for help. It took over two hours of trying to follow the procedure to sign in to upload the digital documents I requested. Several times it would give me an error message or take me back to the start. When I finally got the video call verification, the caller did not inform me the ID was completed and just ended the call without notice. I didn't know what to do next. I just felt like no one wanted to help me get my deceased father's records. Thanks for nothing!
