ID.me is used to verify your affiliation with organizations. It's a big company that has a lot of services, and it operates like one. If you can't figure out how to solve a problem on your own or it takes human interaction from customer service, be prepared to wait a while. Now that it's paired up with the VA for ID verification, I expect it be as efficient as dealing with the VA itself. I've used it for over five years for discount verifications, and this winning the VA contract is on par for what I'd expect from the VA. Like the VA, they have a way to go for me to consider them good quality service but they do get the job done eventually if you have the time to expend doing it.
It's okay, but as Veterans get older, it becomes more complicated for alot of Veterans. And I am one of them. Somewhat frustrated with the process.

My first time setting up with ID.me. Jonathan with Verison walked me through the whole process over the phone. He was very knowledgeable and had excellent customer service. I felt very comfortable with the whole setup due to him.
I was having issue with audio and video on my laptop and tablet using ID.me on browser. Best to have the Zoom app installed on your tablet or phone before doing the verification process because agents will give you a Zoom link if you have issues with either on your device. And don't forget to tell the agent on chat to wait for you to join the Zoom meeting link because some agents will disconnect even before you can join Zoom. Kudos to Isaiah for helping me with my verification process.
