My experience was positive and ended successfully. I can testify that the ID.me team cares about your experience and because of this I am confident the experience will continue to improve. I recommend watching any tutorials offered for navigating the site or optimally capturing images of documents. The tutorials are quick and clearly communicate how to have a successful experience. The time remaining to join the video conference to confirm identity can fluctuate (decrease then increase then start sooner than expected) however once it begins you will be in very good hands.

There is specific documentation needed in order for you to create a login, but once you upload the required documents, keep them handy... for next you are directed to a video call in which you must show these with you in the video. Today I needed information from its but needed to be verified. The process was very straight forward and though I couldn't get through with first verification, I had to resort it to the video option. It may have been some waiting time but it was amazing to know we still get linked to a human body to assist us and not a robotic voice that never understands!
