I've used ID.me for years now, accessing services from the VA. Having dealt with signing into government systems for years, I feared the worst when I needed to access the VA for various services. However, though the set up took some effort, it has been a painless process through ID.me. It's so helpful, I usually don't even think about it -- its that painless. Whenever I need to access a critical service like the VA, its just a user/pass with a text/email confirmation. Too easy!

When somebody from your office called me and asked me about my wife name to verify my identity and I gave that information.
Later for my surprise my wife name appear in my application and said "Berta Garcia" not
"Juan Rizo" as supposed to be. Please make a correction as soon as possible. I really appreciate your support on this matter

It is really worth your while to get this service. Ever since I've had it, I haven't had stress about my personal information being stolen. Because ID.me is it good thing to have and you can have it across multiple platforms. So what are you waiting for? Get it:-)
The best thing about ID.me is that I can say that the experience was almost invisiable, and that's a compliment.
I have used ID me for years to access my VA benefits site. There was a point in time in which I had people playing on my phone. On occasion someone seemed to be logging into the system and I would get a phone call as if I was logging in, but I was not. Then my phone would hang up. So the fact that our phone lines are not protected from intrusive listening and monitoring makes ID.me not as secure as you think.
I like the ability to access Federal Govt accounts and discounts from companies that offer military discounts
I have been using ID.me for well over a year. It is my go to app for authentication to my gov and gov affiliated sites. I can't phantom going back to 16 to 20 character passwords for all the sites that ask you to change them every three months. ID.me provides improved secure access.
