I do not know about anyone else but the service I have received from the House of Beauty World has been fantastic. I specifically appreciated that they kept me informed via email each step of the way from order online to delivery to my house. In today's world, it is becoming the norm to have unexceptional customer service so I was pleasantly surprised by this company's service. And the prices are not bad either. I am amazed at the negative comments since that was not my experience. I am thankful that I did not! I feel bad for the ones who had poor service.
I'd Give them a negative star if I could. They just take your money. They sent me a product with mold on it and which had clearly been tampered with and they asked for pictures. I gladly sent the pictures and they said, "there's no damage, sorry bye!" They're scammers and they're blind!
Do not order from them - complete scam! I only received half of my order. When I called to inquire about the remaining item, they said it was shipped in the same package and they checked both the weight and the cameras in the shipping area. Basically called me a liar. They have hung up on me 4 times. Last customer rep said she, "didn't have time for me." They stole about $35 from me, as I have no faith to ever receive the remaining part of my order. Should have read the reviews first! They have a horrible Better Business Bureau rating. COMPLETE SCAM COMPANY!
My wife ordered "medium brown" hair color sticks and she received a package with the "medium brown" order form but with "black" hair color sticks which are totally useless. Customer service is non-existent. They want me to spend my own money shipping the black color sticks back to them. After that they say they will provide a refund. No thanks!
Placed an order on a Monday. By the following Monday order still not processed. Website stats free shipping with $50 order. Order was for more than $50 and website stated for free order processing time is 1-2 and when out for delivery mail time is 3-7 days. Terrible service. Customer service could carelessly about their cusromers
The worse company ever, please stay away from them, they are fake. Bought three bottles of Mane Choice hair growth vitamins for a total of $77.85. Opened a bottle of fake fishy smelling capsules. Could not return the remaining two unopened bottles. Called customer care and got the run around. Their return policy on their site is quiet unfavorable. They'd need to approve your return and give you a return code number, then some other charges also apply. Walmart should audit and bear some responsibility for their third party vendors. Got to them through Walmart.com
Rude Customer service. I will never buy from them again. Returned a wig that did not fit properly per their instructions. After waiting and not hearing from them, I checked the tracking number from the post office receipt. It was delivered to HOBs warehouse, but they claim that they did not get it. I will now send them a letter and see what happens. Please beware that they are rude and will not help you.It's a scam to keep your money.
I placed an order with this company and called to check the status. The person who answered the phone was extremely rude and would not give me her name. She then came on the phone and said that she canceled my order. Mind you, my order was in the system for 3 days and I was checking on the status. I then called the 800 number only to find out that what I ordered was out of stock and I was not getting it anyway. Stay away from this $#*! show of a company.
Seems like a scam business to me. STAY AWAY! I ordered some make-up over 1 month ago. The tracking number is fake, the package never arrived, and they have my cash! When I called to ask where my product was I got a run-around response -- then I asked "Is this even a Real Company?" The customer service woman responded -- "Well you placed the order with us" -- to which I said -- "That's NOT a valid answer". STAY AWAY!
In January 2017 I purchased a wig from House of Beauty. I had previously owned a Bobbi wig in the past That i purchased at a local beauty supply store. So when I saw that very wig on the house of Beauty site I was all in. Only I failed as a consumer to check the reviews of previous customers. Well I did receive a wig. A lemon yellow and gray wig. Which was nothing like the one I selected. So after numerous phone calls and emails I finally reached someone. Who told me that it was my fault that I didn't like the wig and that I was to return the wig and someone would call me to charge me an additional $8.95 on top of the $30+ that they already received. If I wanted to exchange it. So I trusted the customer service woman and returned the wig. And now it's March 13th2017 and after 6 phone calls and 10 emails and after returning the wig. No one from that company will respond to my purchase issue or return the money they now in good faith received. I'm now sure I have been robbed and the money was stolen from me. Awful Customer Service. I mean No customer Service. PLEASE DONT get scammed like I did. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!
I wish I would had came across these reviews before placing my order. This place is a piece of $#*! don't spend your cash there. They send me my Avolon product and the bottle came broken, the box came saturated in liquid. I paid $86 for the product. I send them 20 different emails and contacted their customer service for weeks still no respond. Finally someone replied to my email and said send me pictures. I send more pics and still no respond yet. Very unprofessional site stay away please
I ordered a wig and called customer service because I was having trouble tracking it, they were very nice and helpful. Received my wig in a timely manner. Very pleased with the quality. Will definitely order again from them.

Ladies please i urge you please file a report againt this company the federal trads commission you have a platform report them report them let the federal trads commission know dont suffer in silence.we can call our local post office and make them aware also call pay pal or your card company complain complain let it be known dont suffer in silence dont let it happend to the next person let do a petition everyone please contact the FTC THE FEDERAL TRADS COMMISSION.
Company sucks. Ordered wig. Ordere was canceled Will not refund money it has been over two months. Sometimes needs to be done about these scammers.
I ordered a wig and other products. The other products came but the 78.00 dollar wig never came with the order. I left emails and phone messages without any results. Finally I got a return telephone call promising me the wig was going to come. As of this day almost 2 months later I never received the wig or a refund for my money.
I have been a long time customer of this company, however they sent me a wrong item on my last order. When I notified them about the wrong item, it took several emails to get a response, then they asked for a picture of the item I received, then several more emails to get a response, then they said they were waiting on the shipping department to contact them to verify this, then several more of my emails went without response. I've asked them why they can't pick up the phone and get this resolved with someone in the shipping department, but they won't answer my emails! Now I'm posting a bad review as this has gone on for 5 weeks! Totally unacceptable since the item I didn't receive was less than $6. It won't break their bank. I've been a customer of their's for several years... no longer! Next call is to my credit card company to place a complaint! There are plenty of other places that sell beauty products, so take your business elsewhere. I hope the executive management reads this and fires whoever is the person that is handling their returns emails! I know I would as losing a customer and getting bad press over $6 would not be worth it if this were my company!
On the site it states that your order should take 5-8 days for delivery including processing time. When I emailed to get the status of my order I didn't receive a response. Then I called 9 days after I ordered and the rude representative told me that they shipped my order this morning and that she doesn't have a tracking number but I will receive one before tonight. I reminded her that the website states that I should have received my order no later than today then she told me to refuse the shipment when it arrived to get my money back if I was unhappy with the service. Within minutes she called me back to say that she contacted UPS and told them not to ship the order and that I would receive a refund in a few days. That sounded odd because I called her in the afternoon, if she truly shipped it in the morning she would not have been able to tell them to hold it at UPS, instead it would have been on its way getting rushed for two day delivery across the country. I didn't believe anything she said at this point especially after reading the reviews on this site. I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges just in case she doesn't honor my refund...
Alex. Owner/ manager told my Credit card company I am not owed any money other than the shipping charge of 12.54 for the merchandise I returned in it's original condition of over 78.00 total. She they have all my merchandise and am keeping my money. BTW the 12.54 should never have been charged in the first place because I spent enough for free shipping per their website
What kind of business is this. The reps I peak with are not helpful in the least. This company need to be exposed for unscrupulous practices
Answer: Nope! Try Amazon instead. HOB is not fulfilling shipments at all. Numerous customers never receive their orders or only receive a portion of their order with no refund
