House of Beauty is a haven of all things beauty and wellbeing in Barnsley. I had my nails done by the apprentice Ameleigha and the results are amazing. I have psoriasis which affects my nails, so I am self conscious about them. But the results are fantastic and I am going to get booked in for my next treatment very soon. I highly recommend going there. The staff are wonderful.
I ordered 3 Sebastian cellophanes about a year ago. After many weeks, I received only 2. Never got the 3rd one as promised. I called and sent emails, never got an answer since. They might run out of business!
Update: This company remains a total fraud. They promised a refund in writing 3 months ago and still, nothing. This has been ongoing since August. I've had to start legal proceedings with Visa and hopefully will get a refund through that avenue. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!.

I ordered a product from this company 5 weeks ago, have not received it thus far.
I have made a number of attempts to contact the company via emails and phone to no avail.
My thoughts are I'm getting ripped off or they have a big problem with customer service.

At first this site seemed legit and trustworthy, I ordered from them more than once everything went fine. But when I had an item to return for a refund, and jumped through all the ridiculous hoops required in there return policy, they didn't honor there end an refund my money. They kept my item and never sent my refund. Finally I got a call from a man saying it would take about 7 weeks for my refund to come through, its been months since then, still no refund or reply to my emails. (DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE).
I used House of Beauty for over a year. Have had no problems. This last order I placed, never arrived. There is virtually no way to get this company to answer you, whether it be by texting thru their website or just a plain email. No response after many tries. The phone number just rings until it finally goes into a recording telling you the mailbox is full. I had finally had to call my credit card company to get my money back. Beware, you will regret buying from this company.
I placed an order with House Of Beauty and never received the product. I called several times and they will not issue a refund. They now have blocked my phone number since I keep calling them about a refund. I plan on contacting the PA Attorney Generals Office and report them for fraudulent activities. Very bad business ethics, I would not do business with them.
Do not trust these scammers! They will take your money and never send you your order. I placed an order over a month ago for my home salon, and they never send my items. They refuse to pick up their phones or flat out hang up on you. Im so pissed that I dont care how much it cost, im filing a civil suit against this company for fraud. Ya'll messed with the wrong one. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR HARD EARNED DOLLARS!

On August 15,2022, I placed an order on the "House of Beauty.com" site for an item (order number W-*******) that cost me approximately $181.75 (183.80 euros).
After 3 weeks, the product had still not been sent (on the site in question, the order is still in "process"). I emailed your customer service, asking them about it, but none of them seemed to be able to tell me when my order was going to ship. I ended up calling your America-based customer service and paying for the call (3-6 Euros for 3-4-5 minute call) to cancel my order and request a refund.
On September 2,2022, House of beauty customer service assured me by phone that my refund would take place within 5 to 7 days, but having received no email attesting to the refund or any refund movement on my bank account, I decided to call them again on Friday September 9 (this call still cost me 5 euros): House of beauty customer service was unable to explain to me why I had still not been reimbursed and said they would check internally. Except that to date, Tuesday September 13, I still have not received an email attesting that my refund will be effective within 5 to 7 days and on the House of beauty site, my order of August 15,2022 is still noted "in process" and not "cancelled and being refunded".
Not only after verification, the reviews of this site on Trustpilot report a lack of professionalism or even a fraudulent company, but also, I find it indecent to have to wait more than a month to find out what is going on. Of an order of such amount. Without forgetting all the steps on my side to get the information on my order, steps which have additionally generated additional costs. I ask that a refund be made in good and due form but also that the practices of this site be followed closely.
I didn't receive all my order and they said it would ship out in 7-10 days. I tried calling and emailing them and still haven't heard anything regarding my order. Let me add that the phone numbers listed don't work! I will never order from this company again!
I am a barber that wants to cut hair abroad. I don't have access to some of the proper equipment so I thought I'd try HOB as they ship internationally.
Ordered and realized I needed to add more products. Sent an email right away ( 12 hours later) they replied 2 WEEKS LATER! My order shipped and it was too late by that time.
Contact by email and phone is garbage, no one answers and the answering machine is full.
2 weeks is way too long to let your customers stew in problems, especially when they are time-sensitive!
Shipping & tracking issues as well. It says it shipped yet after 3 weeks it's showing no progress or proof that it's in transit. I emailed them about that and they don't have answer and are looking into it.
Unprofessional, disorganized and difficult to contact anyone by email or phone.

I ordered some items from them in My 2022 and when I received my items. I return one item in 2 days and email acknowledged that they received it. And that refund minus restocking fee would be sent back. This is now august 19,2022 and still haven't received my refund back. This company should be closed down and I have contacted BBB and will also be forwarding this to Inspector General cause it's not right. All the people that they are getting money from. Quick to take money out of account but don't wanna return it.

It looked like their products came from the expiring soon, sale bin at Marshalls.
They don't send product that says "in stock",
And they won't give you a refund either. Go to Cosmetic World! I got all of my products brand new, in a few days time.

I placed an order July 6, my account was debited and nothing has been shipped to me. I keep inquiring about this, and no one gets back to me. They say they'll "look into it" and then nothing happens. I want a refund, but its impossible to get anyone to respond. Not sure how they scammed their way into getting 5 star reviews, but this is definitely a sham of a "company."

Answer: Nope! Try Amazon instead. HOB is not fulfilling shipments at all. Numerous customers never receive their orders or only receive a portion of their order with no refund
