My husband and I called to make a reservation for 5/16/24 (today) reservation was made and when we arrived at the hotel to check in there was no reservation. I called to cancel the reservation and was told there was no reservation. Desk clerk Leon D. Said it was too late and he couldn't do anything. The lady we were talking to said we had to take our phone to Leon so she could talk to him. Leon said the system was down and he could not do anything. Lady said she would cancel the reservation. She asked what else she could help with and I said we needed a room for tonight she stated that we needed to walk in to a motel to get a room and not to book on line. She could not help us get a room. Lady called my husband and said she could not cancel the reservation.
After a long day of airline travel delays, Jennifer at Courtyard was very helpful with securing a hotel room.

The young lady who I had the pleasure of talking to, who helped me make my reservation was pleasant, personable, polite and professional! It was a pleasure talking to a phone representative who possesses ALL of those qualities in addition to knowing her business. I called the local hotel number but it went directly to reservations. I asked if I'd reached the hotel directly as that is who I needed to speak to regarding a question.
Instead of giving me any other information, I was hung up on. I called a total of 5 times and each time I was hung up on when I explained I needed to speak to

The person I spoke with was flippant. I explained that two days ago the price was $50 less (40% less). I had checked it (and several other hotels) several times because I was trying to figure out the location and reviews. Once down to two options, I reviewed with a friend & we selected this one due to the convenience even tho slightly more costly. In a curt way, the reservation clerk said that's just the way things work and that's why they say book right away. Prices only go up never down. I fear I may have contributed to the system thinking there was greater demand because of the number of times I opened the page. Anyway, I said well I'm going someplace else and he said okay and hung up - almost b4 I finished. I'm in the Hilton rewards program and have never experienced such lack of regard for the customer — not even a 'sorry this didn't work for you'.
I was having a problem using my visual card over the phone the young lady Sara hung in there with me very polite
Brandon did his due diligence to secure the best rate for our stay in Brooklyn. He did it in a very friendly and professional way. Thank you Brandon for an excellent experience.
I talked to two people for this reservation. Both answered my questions and helped me secure a room. Samantha and Mia were great! Thank you for your help!
Answer: I attempted to email, submitted a support request, called numerous times, requested call backs (received 0), attempted to chat and was continuously ignored or "disconnected", never once reaching anyone that would or could help me. Customer Service at HotelPlanner is nonexistent.
Answer: HP's staff is full of deceitful and despicable liars. Do not use HP for planning any trips if you wish to have smooth, happy travels.
Answer: Just do not use! HP is awful and they will spoil your travel plans!
