Recently I had the pleasure to work with Jesus Bernabe on a reservation for a week at a local hotel here in Memphis, TN.
Mr. Bernabe was friendly, articulate, and very helpful with all my requests /questions.

You said it was refundable. And its 8.miles away. So I had to cancel to get closer to Orlando. And they was saying it was a non refundable ticket. Our conversation was if I bought the $128 dollar it was non refundable. I said I wanted refundable. Now I have to wait for 2 to 10 to get my money back and now pay for another hotel 3 hours away. I had made a reservation online for 1 room/3 occupants for 3 nights in NYC. I looked at the email conf. & saw it was for 2 rooms! I had tried to cancel the 2nd room & adjust the arrival date for the 1st room twice before. You do NOT make it EASY! On my 3rd try w/ your team, Hannilyn FINALLY effectively assisted. I must now wait to see if my initial res'n will be refunded.

The reservation was scheduled however the rep told me it would be 314.00 when Marriotts non-member price for that whirlpool king suite is 179.00 before tax.

After taking a deeper look into your reservation, I see that it was booked as a pay-at-hotel reservation, meaning that we did not charge your card since the hotel took care of charging your card. Therefore, since the charge to your card came through the hotel, any refunds will need to come directly through them as well. Very poor. Language difficulties, he was unsure of how to help so contacted manager. I was charged double the going rate if booked through hotel directly, plus was charged twice for the same room. I will dispute with the hotel directly. He was nice and seemed to want to help.

I called a hotel to make a reservation not realizing the number listed was not directly to the hotel. The woman told me that it was indeed the hotel. She got alittle annoyed with me when I asked questions. When I told her that other people paid less, she said I was misinformed. I had to get the supervisor involved.

I was quoted a rate of $69 when I called to book, but my total ended up being $99. When I called back, I was told the difference was due to taxes and additional fees. I understand taxes apply, but it would have been helpful if the full total had been explained upfront. Just something for future guests to be aware of. I also was only offered $14.96 back out of the $99, which didn't seem fair given the price difference. I just wish the total cost had been clearly explained from the beginning so there were no surprises.

I called the Arizona Biltmore reservation number and I explained to the agent that I was giving a talk at a seminar at the Biltmore and I only needed a room for one night, but the rooms were extremely expensive. The agent offered to book a room for me at a nearby hotel, which ended up saving me $600! Many thanks to the reservation agent 🙏

Answer: I attempted to email, submitted a support request, called numerous times, requested call backs (received 0), attempted to chat and was continuously ignored or "disconnected", never once reaching anyone that would or could help me. Customer Service at HotelPlanner is nonexistent.
Answer: HP's staff is full of deceitful and despicable liars. Do not use HP for planning any trips if you wish to have smooth, happy travels.
Answer: Just do not use! HP is awful and they will spoil your travel plans!
