I was promised a full refund by a hopper employee and didn't get it. You can not talk to anyone over the phone and hopper employee can do whatever they want and it has no repercussions. During this time you would think they would handle situations better but not this company!
Booked my price lock guarantee. Paid 150$ to lock room in at 220 an night. Went to check out before my deadline and they apologized telling me they didn't have a room. It was a king room. Meanwhile, went on there site to see if they were offering any rooms. Of course there was a double for 690 a night now. BAD BUSINESS PRACTRICE!
I did get my money back- but now forced to pay top dollar for last minute booking. Thank you for giving me a anxiety attack and starting my vacation that I haven't had in 2 years like this!

WITHOUT THINKING YOU FREEZE THE DESIRED FAKE TIVKET AND VOILA THEY GOTTTTTT YOOOUUUU DEVIL IS A LIAR.
I WILL BLAST THEM ON ALL MY SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM, SEND EMAILS TO TV CHANNEL FOR SCAMS ALERTS AND CALL LEGAL CONSUMER LAWYER AS WELL AS STATE REPRESENTATIVES TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS SCAMMER APP WHICH IS PREYING ON VICTIMS.
IMAGINE ALL THE MONEY NON REFUNDED BECAUSE YOU FINALLY GROW OUT OF FRUSTRATION AND GAVE UP.

I did a price freeze for me and my husband. They charge me twice but stated it was for one passenger. When they credit me back for one ticket, they deleted my freeze so my flight was not available on the app. I email them out 6 times and no one has responded back so I deleted the app and took the $62 lost and book my flight with Justfly.com. Because I have never had any problems with them in the past.

Please do not book any hotel room from this site; its miss leading; they always quote a lower price but they get you with higher service charge. You end up paying more expensive hotel room; and the site told you pay the price free but you can not use it toward your hotel room charge. It is a scam web site; avoid it.

I have never been so disappointed, we pre booked months in advance and yes we know flights change and all that, which hopper kept changing the flights closer and closer to our trip and I had to keep calling and changing our vacation plans to the point we're missing out on places we want to go in Costa Rica and then they completely took 2 days early off our trip and didn't tell us? We got nothing but the run around and they refuse to help get our flight back home, we had insurance in case this happened but no one is or taking responsibility, so now hopper is price gouging us and in order to get home the price went up one way 1,1700. 00 this is a complete SCAM, I'd highly advise not to use this app unless you want your HARD ERRNED vacation RUINED

When you try to book it doesn't go through, but it holds money from your bank account. That does eventually drop off, but when you do a price freeze, every time you try to book it says, "it can't go through" but still authorizes your bank account, then you go past the 14 days where there is no refund. There is no customer service number, you can't get through to anyone. DON'T USE THIS SERVICE. IT'S A SCAM.

Don't get me wrong, expedia can be a headache but at least you can chat with a real person. Hopper states that my flight is handled by the airline when I try to change or cancel. Ok. I contacted the airline and got an actual person on the phone and they said I have to cancel through the app(which is what I thought was the case). I go back to the app and of course it is impossible to get someone on the phone so I can only sit and wait(and hope) until someone responds to my cancellation request I sent via email. I'll just deal with expedia in the future.

I used hopper to book a hotel for 2 nights in Boston. I had to cancel and even though the agreement states that only 1 night's room & tax was to be charged if I cancelled after xx date, they are not refunding me the correct $ amount for the 2nd night. They suggested that I call the hotel to get a refund even though I paid hopper, not the hotel. The hotel couldn't do anything because I paid through a 3rd party. I can't get in touch with them without a current booking which, of course, I don't have now. They're extremely hard to reach, the app doesn't give enough information for customer service which is sadly lacking

Booked a hotel through the Hopper app. Showed up at the hotel after a wedding, so we were intoxicated & it was late. We were told by the hotel that Hopper shouldn't have told us we were booked there and that they don't accept reservations from them. At this point, it was 11:30pm and there was one hotel with 4 rooms left within 30 minutes. Had to pay an expensive uber and an expensive hotel bill that could have been avoided had Hopper informed us of this issue before. Extremely disappointed

I paid for a price freeze for a flight I'm taking next month and due to my mother who has cancer ending up in the hospital, I missed my window to actually book my flight. I reached out to them to come to some sort of a resolution and some thing named Edgar was extremely hostile and still insisted on keeping my price freeze money sending me highlighted screenshots like I would have been paying attention to that with a sick mother. I hope he doesn't go through any hardship in his life because karma is real and things always come back around.

If you chose not to purchase a flight within the Price Freeze validity, the price freeze will just expire and your price freeze deposit will become non-refundable. Sorry for this frustrating booking experience, as this is certainly not the experience we want our users to have.
HORRIBLE! I had never used the app I was told it was great I put in my dates and tickets were average 500 per person and was told to "wait". The app informed me price would go down by over 50$ which when booking for a family makes a difference so I did. The price has now doubled and the low listed on the site is 650. I now am paying more that I every would have it I didn't download. There is no way to voice concern to the company.

Three different occasions in 2020 I had flights cancel and absolutely no assistance from hopper. Unable to reach, unable to invoke a refund, unable to rebook, absolute disaster.

If you prize freeze - you NEVER get that money back! Not stated anywhere and NOT explained up front! Company does nothing to make it right and blames it all on the user.

I paid over 70 us to freeze the price of three plane tickets…whenever I was going to book them it was impossibly to book them… tried to contact costumer service they just ask for information but do anything. It's really sad that kayak is offering that service that does not work and they just take your money … really sad

I was charged 300 extra dollars at the hotel And the airlines charge me for seats I already picked out when purchased on hopper we were in the very back seat on the plane D24 C24

This App robbed me of $450 when they suddenly cancelled my flight to Miami with no explanation whatsoever. I had to book my flight through another website and the worst part is, I Never got a refund. I tried to contact customer service, but there is no way to contact them. What a POS they are for that.

Booked Cambria Hotel Washington DC via Hopper, among other things, the hotel didn't have any cold water so you couldn't take a shower without getting burned so we checked out. Hotel said they gave the credit to Hopper for the nights we didn't stay. I have not seen a credit yet. The Hotel General manager keeps saying they will contact Hopper and get back to me with the amount of credit and when I will receive the credit. They never get back to me AND I cannot contact Hopper. Phone *******760 is a recording that says to contact them thru the app but because my stay is closed there is no form to fill out. I stayed on the line until the end of the English/French message and I heard a beep so I left a message. Still waiting to hear back. It's 2 weeks now. I will wait a few more days and will ask for a refund from my credit card. PS, two days after checking out I asked the hotel about the water and they said their engineer was working on it. I noticed a phone number for HOPPER on my VISA bill. *******548 and get a message that they are unable to complete my call. It is 21 days since I checked out. I gave up and asked my credit card company for a full refund.

Answer: File a claim with your bank. They charged me An additional 2 nights after hopper said they would refund my money. Instead they went without my consent n charged me an additional 2 nights. I was robbed for a total of 3 nights. Without being able to contact any support. A total Scam!
Answer: No they are about polar opposite of trustworthy. Run don't walk away from this company. My lesson cost $1435 dollars. If you require customer service look elsewhere they have none. Not even a phone number which is the first red flag.
Answer: There is no customer service, no phone number and no one will address your concerns on social media, or through their app.
Answer: DO NOT TRUST THIS APP WHAT SO EVER! They booked 3 nights after I was waiting for my refund. TOTAL SCAM!
