Been watching a Jamaica Trip since November 2021 to leave in July 2022. App has told me to wait till this day and prices went from $550 to $850 since. Just buy tickets as far out as you can and you will save the most.
I had to abandon a $92 travel credit leftover from the first time I used Hopper out of frustration. After a bunch of cryptic emails I finally got a person to talk to and after 2 hours on the phone I just gave up. All I wanted was 2 tickets for me and my wife and to use the credit I had leftover from my first nightmare dealing with Hopper. Life is just to short to use Hopper!

Hopper has got to be the WORST APP. My boyfriend and I were booking a flight to Dublin, Ireland and found a good deal on Hopper. We travel a lot, and therefore know what to look for. These round trip flights included seat selection and a checked bag each. So we went ahead and booked! Later that night, I received an email from Hopper that our selected seats were taken away. I called the airline themselves and asked what this was about, and they said well we don't offer seat selection for your economy ticket, therefore hopper charged us for them, but they were never even an option for this flight. He also informed me that the checked bags were also not included, and that was yet another thing Hopper falsely advertised. He then proceeded to tell me I could (obviously) add these things onto my current booking for about $200 extra per person. When I asked him what the flight would have cost if I booked directly through the airline with the seats selected and a checked bag, I would have actually been saving money compared to the bull$#*! that Hopper advertised. Do not get me started on getting a refund. Hopper makes you contact the airline directly. I contacted them directly, within 24 hours of my booking, and they easily refunded me. Two days later I realized my credit card had been charged through HOPPER and not the airline. Trying to reach ANYONE from hopper is impossible, so I submitted a request for a refund through them, in which they informed me I need to send them verification of the airline stating they are refunding the total booking, then they would proceed with a refund from hopper. Which, btw, is not written in their rules ANYWHERE and I would have been waiting a lifetime to receive this refund from hopper if I didn't reach out to them, and they would have just kept my money. Finally, 2 business days later I was refunded for only ONE of the tickets, so the whole process of trying to contact someone from hopper to refund my second ticket begins again. I am BEYOND frustrated with my Hopper experience and DO NOT RECOMMEND this app to ANYONE

This is a terrible app. The customer service is terrible. My phone was stolen and someone rented a 200 hotel. I got it back that same day tried to cancel and they said too bad. Use HOTWIRE OR HOTEL.COM

The price freeze is a scam. Do not pay to freeze a price. They will change the price on you then when you reach out to customer service they will tell you the fee is non refundable and that the price you froze was subject to change. Deception and I'm reporting to the BBB

Hopper has the worst customer service! You cannot talk to an agent and they'll take weeks to respond to your messages, if they do at all! After two weeks of giving me the run around they (and by that I mean hopper, not the airline) canceled my flight. They've now refused to give me a full refund on that flight. They seem to think they can keep all of their fees (some of which I never authorized) despite canceling the service that I paid for. My only recourse has been to dispute the charge on my credit card. I'll never book through hopper again and I'd suggest you don't either. It's not worth the stress if there are any changes to your flight.

Why your company selling something that is not ok?
If you advertise business class then you should sell a business class seat not the economy class seat and when I check with the airlines my seats was only economy class seats not the business that you were selling? How is that?
I will never use this app again
You dont get the price you see you just saving your booking. Which is bogus! Then the price goes up twice the amount from what was frozen.
I booked a hotel through hopper and getting a refund is impossible! The hotel claims they did not charge me, hopper claims the hotel did and in the mean time I still have a charge on my credit card and neither company wants to take responsibility nor give me refund. Getting anything done with the "help" on their is horrible and they can't be reached over the phone. Terrible customer service! Don't use hopper app. You're better off booking through the hotel or airline directly and avoid head aches.

I used their price freeze to hold my flights. When I went to pay for the flights they were no longer available. They refused to refund my deposit and they could not get me the flights. Total rip off! Go to any app other than theirs.

I took flight via the app i even took cancellation free well i cancel for cheaper flights by the time i pay again BOOM pricing goes suddenly up i lost money at the end of the day they lost customer

Rented a car through Hopper from Zezgo in Ft Lauderdale. I was scammed by the added on insurance that I declined, $132 and the car was a clunker, (warning lights going off/broken door handled). Hopper is unable to help, the rental company has promised a $59 refund, but nothing has been credited. Judging from reviews on Yelp, others, (27 customers) had the same service. Why would Hopper continue to offer this company?

I was extremely disappointed using Hopper for the 1st time on a trip to Cancun. On my return flight they gave me 2 confirmation numbers and I had to pay for my bags twice!

They never sent me my $950 voucher! Due to flight cancellation because of Covid-19 back in 2020. It's been 2 years now and still haven't received it!

Every time I try to book a flight this damn bunny pops up with nothing available. Sucks! I wouldn't recommend this app to anyone.

Horrendous experience using Hopper app to rebook a flight using flight credit. It was my first time booking a round trip flight on their app. After purchasing a round trip flight, I decided to cancel the return flight because I wanted to fly with another airline that had a better time for me to return. Their response time was quick and I agreed to cancel the flight after taking the flight there to retain my flight credit for future use. Now, I am trying to rebook a flight using my flight credit. You cannot rebook on their app on your own. You have to go to their app and then select to message them to inquire about what's available and the cost of flight. While their response time is quick, all the flights are triple or four times the cost of the flight advertised on the airline website itself. They stated that their policy is that I have to rebook a flight in higher class than I originally booked. I can understand that; however, why is the rebooking even more expensive that what's listed on the airlines website for the same EXACT flight and EVEN MORE expensive than the FIRST CLASS ticket. I booked an basic economy ticket and now I have to pay even more to use my flight credit. While they state that the airline is offering no change fees, it's almost ridiculous on how much the cost is to rebook. Are there more hidden fees? Is it the hopper app or the airline, or both? Either way, save yourself the trouble and do no book with Hopper. It's more headache than anything else. I don't even want to redeem my flight credit at this point.

They need to update their application. They do not make their clients aware of the hotel check in times until the email confirmation is received. Terrible experience with them in order to receive a refund. They are not willing to take responsibility and blames the hotel which is not a good reputation. I have been dealing with different employees for weeks now and still nothing getting resolved. Just a back and forward. I will never use them again!

Answer: File a claim with your bank. They charged me An additional 2 nights after hopper said they would refund my money. Instead they went without my consent n charged me an additional 2 nights. I was robbed for a total of 3 nights. Without being able to contact any support. A total Scam!
Answer: No they are about polar opposite of trustworthy. Run don't walk away from this company. My lesson cost $1435 dollars. If you require customer service look elsewhere they have none. Not even a phone number which is the first red flag.

Answer: DO NOT TRUST THIS APP WHAT SO EVER! They booked 3 nights after I was waiting for my refund. TOTAL SCAM!
