App told me to wait and wait only to end up with buy now recommendations for flight with multiple connections and more than double the price of direct when I first checked with hopper and it told me to wait. What a waste of my time and now my money!! This app stinks!!
You book flights and can't cancel them no one gets back to you. It's awful
*edit 2: Hopper has made it evident they do not care about the costumer. We have not heard any information other than "be patient." The chat service clearly ineffective.

Hopper is switching to chatbot only. The website claims you can talk to an agent 24/7, this is not the case. It is your standard computer responding. While I am not upset that the airline cancelled my flight I am frustrated at the difficulty of speaking to someone over the phone. E-mail response time is slow, initially I was understanding because it is a bigger company but with it being increasingly more difficult to touch base with anyone my understanding is dwindling. Especially since there are no phone numbers on the website and when they called with a number I could call back it was an automated message telling me to use the chatbot.
If you don't mind chatbot not being actually agents. Hopper is great but if you run into flight issues beware there is a lot of improvements that need to happen.
Awesome...Used recently to find a flight from NY-FL for Thanksgiving. Not only is the app super user friendly, they make it easy to setup alerts on flight price changes and go the extra mile to use algorithms to predict if its going to drop more or is it a good time to buy. Saved me a good amount of coin- would deff recommend!
Absolutely terrible app if you need a cancellation.
I asked for a full week in helping with cancellation and if it would be possible to get a partial refund.
They never replied and a week later I see no flights in my itinerary anymore, which means they unilaterally cancelled without ever contacting me or answering my questions.
Thanks for wasting my money.

Lesson learn: just use this app to check for flight but never book here cause customer service is dog poop. the promise of prompt response within 24hrs is a scheme. I am trying to reschedule a flight but not a word from these folks.

I've purchased a round trip ticket with insurance through Hopper and I've been trying to get in contact with a real person for over a week. Hopper does not have any customer support number that you can call and speak to someone. They only have a chat line that they claim is 24/7 but like I said, I've been trying to contact someone at different times and still, nothing. This is very unsettling.
I have found so many great deals on Hopper! Many trips taken I otherwise wouldn't have been able to.

Hopper is my go-to app whenever I need to look for the best flight booking options. It is a great app, indeed.
I use the Hopper app all the time. It's an easy way to keep track of airline prices and it takes the stress out of when you buy. And it's even more convenient now that you can buy tickets directly within the app.
I love the ability to have them advise you to wait and notify you when the flights drop. I just saved $200 on a holiday flight by waiting like they said.
I purchased tickets with Hopper for the first time and I regret every minute. The airline changed our flights, hopper sent an email to let us know and that is it. I'm trying to contact them by email but there is no real answer, no phone support, and as of this time I'm waiting for over 28hr and nobody has contacted me.
Terrible customer service, sorry non existent customer service.

I love this app BUT there is no phone number to call to speak to someone. M grandmother died and I am trying to shift flights to get home for her funeral- HOURS have gone by with no response. Unacceptable. Do better, hopper. Have an actual phone number or be available in real time. Not that hard.
The app has constant malfunctions when flights are chosen and often crashes during use. This didn't become a big issue until recently when I was logged out of my hopper app and when I tried to sign in I continued to receive the same error message, this meant I had no way of accessing any of my flight information. When I tried to call hopper support I discovered there is no phone number to be called. Only a chat with a very long wait time for a response. I continue to attempt login in the app but nothing has been fixed.
I LOVE this app, I have used Hopper for all my flights the last couple years. So easy to use (and fun!) and the price predictions are on point.
Makes takes out the headache of ticket shopping and makes it a game where you save hundreds of dollars!
