A friend of mine told me to try this app! What a nightmare! After a 5 hour drive to Vegas, I get to the hotel with a confirmation number and the worst sentence you hear at check in.... sorry no reservation under your name! Seriously!! No help from the front desk or the app! No contact support ! Still have not received a refund or know if I will! Use a secure travel app, I say!
The App should allow an option to back out of Freeze Price. Otherwise, quite convenient.
Just love this app! Who tells you to wait for a better deal? Then they will also tell you the great deals! A must have when making flight plans!

Multiple times now I've relied on Hopper (clearly I shouldn't trust my intuition, I should trust an app ) and it's screwed me over costing me hundreds of dollars more by saying to wait. This app needs to make a decision for people who actually plan things out! Don't say that it's meant to tell you when to buy and then not do what you say you will.
Changed flight by sending an email to notify of the change and I can't talk to anyone. Says select chat from trip but the trip isn't showing in the app. Will never use this app again!! Awful
However, it'd be great if one could filter the airlines. It's not cool to see a huge price drop but then seeing it's a Spirit flight. I ain't traveling on a soda can with wings.
I have used Hopper in the past and I started telling my family about your company. My niece asked me to help her getting her tickets at Hopper, she is in Mexico City and me in the US... when we thought everything was done and after she paid for three round trip tickets, she got a message that the airline didn't have enough tickets! Hopper had already reserved the money! Twice! There was no way to speak or send a message to Hopper. It has been five days and still Hopper is holding the money... every day tickets are getting more expensive and she can not do anything until you guys release the money! I'm very disappointed and angry!

So i had a flight booked some months in advance and 2 days before the flight i received an email saying "we haven't heard from you so we have changed your flight"
I contact them and ask what's going on as i already have transportation hired at both ends for the flight i had purchased. They reply "we emailed you 15 days ago" i respond no i got the email today, and i attached a screenshot of all mail I've ever received from hopper"
They respond that they are looking into it. They reply 2 hours later with "we cannot find the email we sent we are still looking into it" they don't respond for another 24 hours and then they say they are sorry etc.
TLDR i had to pay extra for time i didn't get to use at the hotel we were staying at. I payed for a hotel day i don't get to use because of the changes THEY accepted on my behalf. Cancelation charges for special transportation for my disabled companion that ended up costing me double to book with another company on such short notice (2 days before take off) really disappointing and they just tell me "contact AIRLINE maybe they can help"
Maybe call the contact number associated with my account or at least send a text before you make decisions on my behalf... shame on you
Forgot to mention hopper still hasn't updated the flight numbers or times on the app so i could have been at the airport 4 hours late for the flight they accepted for me...
I have requested for a ticket changed and it has taken more than two days to get a response.
Checking out is super FAST & EASY on Hopper! They lay it all out for you and are extremely clear. I love being able to track flights and see the predictions of flight changes. The price freeze is smart. I wish I used it since my flight went up the next day... oops! If you need to discuss your flight with your travel mates, FREEZE THOSE PRICES!
Prediction prompted us to wait to buy tickets. Then an alert saved us $3600 on a flight to Rome
So there are aspects of this app that are wonderful. I love how it's set up to book. You can see the prices for any day etc. Very easy to use. I purchased a flight though through them and the app lost the flight. None of the info for the flight is in the app. Pray you don't have any issues with them. It is so difficult to get through to them. When they respond its hours later. Then they will respond with info you don't need and, if you're not by your phone then they're gone. It's ridiculous. Maybe best to use them to search flights and book through something else in case you have a problem.
I bought a flight with hopper to fly to Europe and a few days ago I realised the airline has been liquidated. I have been trying to contact the airline and hopper since Friday and no one is answering. I'm so desperate and frustrated since I spent almost $700 dollars which no one is taking responsibility for. I have been trying to find a number to call you, I've email you, used the "24/7 support" which I don't understand how you can say it's 24/7 when I have been waiting for answers since Friday October 11 and also I've dm in Instagram but nothing is working. It's an unprofessional service and will never use it again.
There is literally no customer service. There is literally no way to contact hopper. When they triple charge your for a ticket you didn't order to a place you don't want to go on an airline you've never heard don't an email. You will find out the hard way, a month after the flight when you find out they (somehow) charged $8,000 to your credit card. And there's nothing you can do about it...
This app makes booking flights super simple, plus it looks for the cheapest out there! I also really like how it will tell you what the trend for your flight will be.
I love this app. It's VERY EASY to use and when I compare costs thru other websites, Hopper ALWAYS has the best prices.
I love this app it is so easy to use. It guides you step by step. I know as I have gotten older trying to keep up with this technology apps like this keep me in the game!
Answer: File a claim with your bank. They charged me An additional 2 nights after hopper said they would refund my money. Instead they went without my consent n charged me an additional 2 nights. I was robbed for a total of 3 nights. Without being able to contact any support. A total Scam!
Answer: No they are about polar opposite of trustworthy. Run don't walk away from this company. My lesson cost $1435 dollars. If you require customer service look elsewhere they have none. Not even a phone number which is the first red flag.
Answer: There is no customer service, no phone number and no one will address your concerns on social media, or through their app.
Answer: DO NOT TRUST THIS APP WHAT SO EVER! They booked 3 nights after I was waiting for my refund. TOTAL SCAM!
