About a year ago thought I was getting some advertising for around $100 a month and all of a sudden I got a bill for $599. I contacted Homesnap and told them I wanted everything associated with my name discontinued and canceled. They canceled the ad but they kept on a yearly subscription that came due this year and 599 was charged to my account that I thought had ended. They had kept my credit card after I told them I wanted everything canceled and everything removed associated with my name. This is a very dishonest company and I hope no one ever gets caught up in it like I did. I am talking with an attorney
The company is unable or unwilling to add minor disclosures to the website I paid for. These disclosures are necessary for public use of the website. It was a complete waste of money. Find a company that is able to fulfill your request and satisfy your needs. Homesnap is not that company.
This company is like all the rest. Promises you the moon but only takes your money and abandons you after... then quietly returns a year later to steal MUCH MORE money from you! No renewal notice, no call to find out how I liked the service, NOTHING! They promised me I could cancel anytime and under no circumstances would there be an automatic renewal. Guess what? My CC was just charged 500. Plus dollars to renew! They now are refusing to remove the charge even though I have have sent communication that I do not wish to renew and I am not pleased with the service. Why would I renew? I have tried their services, I even paid for advertising through them but have yet to receive one lead or sale or traffic to my website. I tried them and I trusted them and got swindled! I wish I would have been warned about Homesnap's bait and switch tactics and unethical Customer Service prior to getting tangled up with them. I can't believe they have to resort to these types of tactics during a worldwide health pandemic in order to stay afloat! I don't do business this way and I refuse to do business with a company that does. Please buyer beware! Stay away from Homesnap! It's like throwing your heard earned money in a dumpster fire!
Don't use this app unless you want to waste your time and money. Customer service is horrible, and the ads you pay for don't guarantee any leads, the one's they do provide never respond to you. The listings and heat map is also inaccurate. I've used it for a couple of month and they charged me on a subscription that I didn't sign up, finally came to the realization that it's a joke for realtors who trust this platform. BTW, give yourself 7-14 days if you need any response from Homesnap, meanwhile your money will be charged While waiting for someone to call with the worst attitude!
I used Homesnap to advertise a listing. $258.00 ten days later I got another charge for $258.00. I went to the website to stop the add I didn't realize I signed up for additional advertising and it was impossible to find a phone number to contact them. The number attached to the credit card does not answer. Be very careful for what you sign up for. You will not get a refund. You'll get a credit but that's the last thing I want.
Signed up for the Home Pro+ program and was pleased with the social media traction on a listing on the market. Made a check to the listing by adding new pictures and to announce my open house via MLS. Well, just what these scumbags charge me $356. I have an active campaign still running, and customer services says we noticed your clicked to bypass the ad, but since your had an open house this system started a new campaign... We can't give you a refund, but can credit you toward another campaign... What? Are you F#cki!&g me? Very deceptive practices...
I never write complaints nor reviews, but I am very displeased with the customer service. I spoke to Carlos Perez and he basically said he can't give me a refund because my real estate is currently active. Even though, I specifically told him, I have not used HomeSnap Pro+ when I subscribed last year. You guys charged me $499 for the yearly subscription and I demanded that I no longer am interested in this app. My phone number and email has not even been updated on my profile, hence the reason that I have not used this app for almost a year.
Then Carlos says that he can only give me $200 back because I am still an active agent. I emailed you guys right away as soon as I got the charge of $499 and i get a call back couple days later saying that they can not refund me.
Honestly this is terrible customer service and I am very livid about this. I felt as if you guys are just taking people's money even though they want to cancel the subscription right away. I specifically told Carlos I do not use Homesnap nor am I interested in renewing!
I also stated that I wanted to speak to a supervisor and all Carlos kept saying is that I am authorized to give refunds, so he would not transfer me to anyone else. I do not understand the lack of empathy or even trying to mitigate a situation like this. He did not give me other options besides "I can refund you $200 out of the $499 because you are still an active agent". And then he does his pitch on why homesnap pro+ has boosted my google views and all that. This is the reason why I am upset because you can tell that people like Carlos feed off agents like me.
I cannot think of a scenario that how that could happen but there a lot of houses listed that does not exist. Or wrong information is there. And also houses that is located in Florida is shows on the map in Virginia. The address that agent listed is different than the address that it shows on the map and top of the listing. I gave up searching as my agent had to contact so many people for no existing property.
Many times when I type in the address, then I find the property is not even posted as for sale.
Very poor app, I use trulia which is so much better
I am all for change, but when it is for the better. The homesnap app for realtors is terrible. The functionality is awful and it takes entirely too long to load. As a Realtor, the best time to use it is while out with customers. It prohibits seeing property history unless you pay extra, the mapping does not make any sense and the search criteria has to be entirely to specific for it to come up with options. Homesnap must have a great sales department for them to convince MLS boards to pay for this piece of trash. Unfortunately, I am now forced to use it as the only option.
I have tried several times getting questions answered but they seem to go into a black hole until I eventually just give up.
I have not had enough opportunities for this to be productive and it is killing my score. I do not understand why I am not getting leads.
Horrible app lately on iPhone and Android please fix this issue it is wasting a ton of my time
A BB photo of what is supposed to be my house is the house next door. The information about the owner (me) is GROSSLY inaccurate.
Works as a tool but never ever do the mistake to promote your listings trough homesnap. Waste of money...and no customer support. Fake leads if any...worst $100 ever spent
I'm not sure why this app is getting high ratings. I recently hired a real estate agent who emails accurate listings. I thought I would check Homesnap to see if it showed more or less. How about no homes except for a preforeclosure. It's clearly a glitch or the originator of this app doesn't care to update it which is sad.
It's frustrating that there is only a map search and you can't see the town/location unless you click on the picture. It takes more clicks to get 1 piece of information for 1 house when I can see multiple features for multiple houses at once on the Zillow or Realtor.com apps. I don't see how this app could get high scores. It takes longer to search & sort. Also, why can't I save more than 3 zip codes?
Now ther are no 2 bed 2 bath rentals of any kind in Arizona! I updated, deleted the app and reinstalled with no change. Too bad is was good.
Answer: DECEPTIVE. They pray on REALTORS and steal from their accounts.
Answer: None that I can think of. All I know is Zillow rips you off and sells your hard-earned leads to the highest bidder.
Answer: Their customer service is amazing! Very easy to reach and troubleshoot.
