Home Depot's reputation is marked by a mix of positive and negative customer experiences. Many customers appreciate the wide selection of products and the knowledgeable staff, which contribute to a convenient shopping experience. However, significant concerns arise regarding customer service, particularly related to installation issues, return policies, and delayed deliveries. Customers frequently report dissatisfaction with the handling of complaints and a perceived lack of support, leading to frustration and a sense of being undervalued. Overall, while the company offers a robust product range, its customer service approach appears inconsistent, impacting overall satisfaction.

I go here for everything for my home! They staff is also well trained and very helpful.
Been shopping there for 25 years and they are great
I have used this company for a long year now, No problems with them. Super-fast delivery! Purchased all my kitchen aid electrical items from them. Prices very competitive for all their brands.
Those of you complaining about the kitchen aid mixer and hearing the motor... You would think for the price it is but it isn't! You're paying the brand and don't forget it's an item from the USA! And as for the hooks not spinning properly... Well, maybe you haven't attached it properly! Kitchen aids are not for amateurs!
I highly Home Depot would send a faulty mixer; it's in a very sealed box blame kitchen aid not YHD!
Will keep using and keep purchasing my brands. No bad experiences here!
They are close and helpful. I just take the part or sample I'm looking for and they get it for me. Isle are free of things so I can get threw with electric chair. I think they have about anything I might need for my project.
I was in need of a pressure tank for my well and I went online at the HomeDepot.com. They had exactly what I needed but said it was online only and the price was 449.99. So I ordered it for free delivery to my local store. One week later the tank arrives so I go to pick it up. Process was GREAT and efficient until I thought to look in the store for the heck of it. Imagine my surprise when I see the exact same thing for 345.00 and they have 8 in stock. They gladly exchanged for the price, but I was forced to deal with poor well/water service to my house for that week it took them to deliver tank to the store. I do not like being taken advantage of and feel the website should/could have known the store stock. This gives them a very poor grade and makes their competition Lowes look sooooooo much better.
The gentleman I bought the door from was very helpful and very knowledgeable.
My husband and I love to remodel properties. We can always find quality products at Home Depot in every department. We can order on line and have items delivered to our home for free. This is great since some of our remodels are as far as an hour away from the store. We LOVE Home Depot!
How do you not like these guys? I'm a capable handyman for most things around my house. That being said, the guys... and gals at my local HD have always been great. I don't require lots of attention, but when I do, they are always very helpful.
Product selection is always good (better be for a "big box" type of store), pricing fair and competitive...
Check 'em out!
This store competes with the price of any company and beats it!
Kind, courteous customer service. Very good to do business with.
Anytime I had an issue with an order they were always able to fix it rather quickly
I love shopping at the Depot online. I can see everything i need and often times i can buy it online and pick it up in the store. They have a live chat thing that is helpful when you have questions. AND they are always cheaper then Lowes, every single time i compared the Depot is less expensive for the exact same item.
True, Home Depot has ALMOST everything you need. However, customer service is lacking! Unless you know exactly what you want, you will have a problem. Perfect for the all around handyman and contractor. Not so good for the novice homeowner
We had 4 French doors to be replaced and called them. They said they would send out their guy for an estimate. He came and said it would be standard, but when it came time to get them, he told them they were all special order (at a cost of 1,000 per door instead of 400) plus extra to install, NOT what he told us. We went to Lowe's and got the job done right.
Walking througb. Home Depot always makes me feel like a kid in a candy.store. In all the times I've been there I've never been able to get everything I wanted or even sometimes things that I needed and during those times. I. Was grante
I have purchased all over their stores. I have renovated a kitchen (returned refrigerators that didn't fit the spot), puchased overhead lamps, bulbs, garden soil, plants, fountain pumps, artificial Christmas trees, outside patio pillows, batteries. I have always found their staff helpful and with a smile. I've even purchased window treatments, outdoor grills... even paint and nails. Just like an old fashioned General Store, only bigger.
We have one 1/2 mile to the Left of us, in Colonia, and one 1/2 mile to the right of us in Woodbridge. Its always clean, A lot of parking. EASY

I love doing business with Home Depot because the buck does stop with the CEO as he proclaimed. I have been a customer at Home Depot for close to 20 years but only a fairly recent on line shopper. I had several problems with my online purchases in late 2012. I emailed the CEO, got a response within 12 hours, a phone call within 24 hours from an online sales manager, and all my issues were resolved in about a week. That is what I call customer service. I have never found customer service as good as this in any other on line shopping business. The very close seconds were Amazon and Walmart.
When I first started shopping at Home Depot, I was overwhelmed by the size. Over the years, their customer service improved and they carry a wider variety of products than could be stocked by the local hardware Stebbins ANdersen, which was known for their service. When STebbins-Andersen told me to of to Home Depot for something I could not find and assured me that Home Depot had customer service, I switched to Home Depot and found that for the most part, the customer service was indeed very good.
Good stores, but never enough help available. Just to going to get some keys made always ends up taking 30 min or more most of the time. Sadly they are sometimes more convenient then then their competition. If their is another store 5 min further I will go there first.
My leaf blower died this past fall. I needed a blower quick. My daughter works in the town where a Home Depot is located... so... I ordered one online to be picked up in the store. I authorized my daughter as the person picking up the item. That same night I had a new leaf blower and didn't have to leave my house. My daughter said it was a breeze picking it up at the Service Desk.
Answer: Hi Betty, you can also return without receipt if you purchased using your credit card. Give them the same CC and they can tell the price you bought at.
