Home Depot's reputation is marked by a mix of positive and negative customer experiences. Many customers appreciate the wide selection of products and the knowledgeable staff, which contribute to a convenient shopping experience. However, significant concerns arise regarding customer service, particularly related to installation issues, return policies, and delayed deliveries. Customers frequently report dissatisfaction with the handling of complaints and a perceived lack of support, leading to frustration and a sense of being undervalued. Overall, while the company offers a robust product range, its customer service approach appears inconsistent, impacting overall satisfaction.

Furniture Quality is superb and delivered right after two days just what i was expecting
My custom-made cellular shades developed problems within six months of installation. Home Depot Customer Service worked with me to understand the ptoblems, then gave me a full refund. The representative was gracious, efficient, and helpful.
Other than the great lawn and garden department, it doesn't seem that Home depot has much to offer for the average home consumer. I wish that they would carry more home decor and outdoor funiture and drapery. Etc. I go into the store and come right back out because it seems like an overwhelming maze set up for contractors only.
I got the equipment i needed delivered in no time.
Prices are reasonable. Selection is good. Assistance is right around the corner in the store.
And about thirty minutes later you will find a store employee that knows not exactly where the product is you are looking for but will walk with you around the entire store to help you find it, whatever it is. That is about the experience each time I need something here.
I have bought almost all kind of stuff from here. And that is really have worth for me. I am very pleased that i have chosen this.
:)
I'm the type of shopper that will wander around a store for so long that when I finally leave it's dark outside! And, I have done that many times in Home Depot. I finally started using their online services, and now I can stare at knobs for my up-cycled dresser for hours from the comfort of my couch!
Home Depot is outfitting our new kitchen - flooring, cabinets, appliances, paint, floorboards, you-name-it. There is already evidence of HD all over the house and yard. The gal who designed our cabinet layouts in the San Diego Genesee store, Jennifer, is Specialty Dept. Supervisor. I was so impressed with her knowledge & personality! She knew more than my guy; he was really impressed, too. He goes there 7+ times a week. Really. Never a problem with this store yet. Yes, at least 7 times a week.
At times no one to help you... But still a great company with mostly excellent experiences
Great buy's! Great discount! Spacious place and quality service!
I hate going into HD, they don't put much effort into their employees and it shows. It's better to buy online and pick up in store.
Heres the thing people and please don not forget this: WE ARE NOT TALKING ABOUT THE DO IT YOURSELF /CONTRACTOR SUPPLY STORES.
We are talking about ONLINE SHOPPING. That is one of the stupidest things EVER.
Heres how I came to that conclusion. I AM A CONTRACTOR and this year began to do estimates BASED UPON THE ONLINE STORE PAGE PRICES.
That was/is a total mess.
DID YOU KNOW THAT 1/2 OF EVERYTHING YOU FIND IN THE ONLINE STORE IS N-O-T AVAILABLE AT ANY ACTUAL STORE?
You try going into a Home Depot to get a tool or material component that you had looked at the night before and figuring it was AN EVERYDAY ITEM...
And after a tormenting search in the store you discover... ITS ONLINE ONLY.
And over a 4 month period it got stupider and stupider as the things I looked up that would be HORRIFIC TO FIGURE AS A MAIL ITEM...
Were the most likely ones to be online only.
I am talking about EVERY DAY, sell hundreds of weekly tools and materials... LIKE CERTAIN LUMBER.
I did a design for a deck and went to the store to pick up the lumber for the plans and guess what...
IT WAS ONLINE ONLY> REALLY? How are you gonna buy a pickup truck worth of pressure treated planks in CYBERSPACE? Am I building a website of a freaking deck.
IF THIS WAS ONLY FOR ODDBALL ITEMS, SPECIALTY TOOLS, PROMOTIONAL SPECIALS and such like, it would be fine.
Instead its a mess of idiocy.

Unless you are a truly talented DYI'R, ask for help!
There are literally thousands of nails, screws, and other "stuff" awaiting you at HomeDepot--

Like the Village Idiot.
The staff is helpful and will guide you in the right direction! Have fun...
I like to shop here as the place carries every type of home repair tool, gadget, etc one needs. I just wish the place was dusted every so often.
Answer: Hi Betty, you can also return without receipt if you purchased using your credit card. Give them the same CC and they can tell the price you bought at.
