We bought a marble countertop at HP who uses a third party to supply and also to install it. Two cracks appeared after it was installed, roughly within days. We called HP and left messages only to get the round around for weeks which has turned into almost a year. DON'T buy a countertop from them as they say they will make it right but they dont and have not. It has been 10 months, they refused to do as we wish and replace the countertop, said they would instead give a refund of less than one third of what we paid, we have yet to recive this. I am thoroughly digusted with Home Depot and will never darken their doorway in my life again. We have already spent thousands upon thousands but not another penny from us. We are huge DYI'ers and will go anywhere else to purchase our needed supplies in the future. Shame on you HP! Very unsatisfied and sorry I have purchased so much from this store in the past.
I bought a dishwasher Apr 23/22 and was given a delivery date of Apr 30th. I booked the install thru their contractor. I got a call from home depot on the 28th stating the delivery co couldn't do it on 30th as they were too busy, but next Friday would work. I asked btwn 9 and 1? Answer was yes. I told lady that I already booked installer. Said no problem they would look after that. Got a call on May 4th to install dishwasher. Home depot did not call them.
Tonight I get a call fr their delivery co and my delivery time is btwn 1130 and 330. Doesn't work for me. Delivery co wants to know if I wish to cancel. Told them I would discuss with HD and not them. 45 mins btwn 3 calls on hold where twice I was hung up on. I called just a random number and lady took my name and phone number at 6:03 was told I would receive call in a few minutes when my salesperson was finished with his customer. That was an hour and 12 minutes ago...

After coming to our house twice at 6am, the installers realized the new flooring didn't fit correctly. They came two more days to put in new flooring -- but didn't have enough material!
In short, they came to our house SEVEN times. It took my threatening to uninstall everything for them to finally finish the job.
I canceled the carpeting (which was going to take 6 weeks to install), because of their ineptness. (The other folks came to the house, and installed carpeting 2 DAYS later.)
I wrote to the corporate office, and was assigned a case manager. I had to call her TEN times before she finally emailed back that she was trying to reach me, which was a lie.
The customer service is the WORST I've ever experienced. I will never, ever walk into Home Depot for anything. This business is filled with employees running around like chickens with their heads cut off. All they care about is money -- not about the customers.
Rochester MN store is unorganized. I live 1.5 hours (1 way) and have been called in to pick up my items 3 times. Once I get there... 1st wrong everything. 2nd customer service is rude and has no time to help fix the problem. Jose is the worst helpful employee ever. He has attitude. He called and said my order is in and I needed to pick up right away. (They didn't have room to store my order for a couple days.) I drove up there with truck and trailer and not all items there, some broken and some not even the right item I ordered. Jose (manager) acted as if it was to much work to fix my problem. I ended up going to a young part time gentleman that help me after 1.5 hours waiting for someone to help me. Jose claims to be the manager but he should be fired. Home depot was the worst place to order vynal fencing, worst place for customer service, worst place to get order correct. I wish I would have known... I would have paid the 2-3 $ more for each item at Lowes, Menards, or Fleet Farm. I have never shopped at home Depot before and I totally know why now. Not a good experience and I still don't have the correct posts. Have been back and forth with Home Depot customer service and Jose for the last 1.5 months... I should cancel my order and go elsewhere. I have NEVER been treated so rudely and inconsiderate of my time and cost of gas. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT HOME DEPOT AGAIN. I will tell everyone I speak to what a terrible experience it is and tell them to pay the extra money and go somewhere else. Saving a couple hundred dollars is not worth the hassle, belittling, and treated as if I am bothering them. I have spent about 5000 dollars there and that is how u are treated. NOT GOOD PLACE!
Their new machines that don't accept old hundred dollar bills would not take my hundred dollar bill and the manager said they could not take my money either. I clearly showed him that my money has the watermark, the strip inside and red and blue fibers. He said there was no way around it. Because their machines not working properly they would not take my money. Went to Lowe's and there machine takes my money. Had no problem at Lowe's. This manager at guide Meridian Home Depot was the worst experience I've ever had. I am a contractor and will take my business elsewhere.
Their customer service has gone severely downhill. We've been loyal customers for over 20 years and will not purchase from again. They are using an outsourced shipping vendor for home deliveries that is horrible. They said a $3000 purchase was delivered when it wasn't took over 8 phone calls over 2 1/2 weeks and 6 hours of my time and purchase still not delivered. Home Depot customer service reps acknowledge that their number 1 complaint and frustration is NDS. Investigations and changes need to be made by Home Depot before they lose all their loyal customers.
It was so nice to have someone be there to help and really care about us and wanting to help us out and make sure we got all we needed for our project and make sure questions were answered

We were browsing the carpeting department. Our granddaughter went behind another display. When we got there this is what we saw. She was so cute; I took this picture. The sample was indeed extra soft.
I ordered a close dryer from Home Depot and paid extra to have it installed. The man who came to install the close dryer said he couldn't because the old dryer was hard wired. I said to him at that time just unplug it but he insisted that it was hard wired and I needed an electrician to take care of it before it could be installed. I ask him to leave the new dryer and he would not. I cancelled the new dryer. I had an electrician examine the dryer and he simply unplugged the old dryer. It was never hard wired. It cost me $69 for an electrician to unplug the old dryer. When I called Home Depot to complain I was put on hold for a very long time before I gave up and hung up. I will never purchase anything else from Home Depot and I suggest you don't either. I will give my business to Lowe's. I had to give this review one star only to be able to post it - they don't deserve any stars.
Upon arrival I was greeted at the pro desk by a woman I am a man and a professional contractor having a woman help me with such a graduation was a pleasure she did more than enough I highly recommend cloning this employee in stock in your stores with the results of the cloning the employee of the day for me my eyes was Cynthia out of the Chula Vista location off of East H Street thank you so much job well done
If I could give zero stars I would. This establishment in general is a disgrace. Nothing but rude unhelpful people. Store is dirty/cluttered. They are a bunch of Crooks. Their appliances are never in working order when purchased and they charge you for protection plan/warranty then claim it was never purchased. You call or contact the customer care, corporate headquarters and Nothing but lies, headaches and make you wastes hours of your time trying to solve the issues. Will not do business with them again.
I bought 5 gallon of painting, I bought it three different times. The last customer service lies to me. The 5 gallon of painting cost around $174, but the last customer service charge me around $200 and I told him it not the right price. I told him to decrease the price and he decrease it to $190. I told him again to decrease the price again cuz it's not the right price. Hr decrease again to $180. I told him again it's not the right price and he decrease again to $178. I've done. I be like ok I'll pay with The Home depot credit card and after that I'll pay off the bill with my debit card. He was like oh yeah and then I used my debit card to pay off the bill. After that he said u paid off everything and u don't have any bill to pay, I ask him r u sure cuz I want to pay off everything including the future bill. He told me that u won't have any future bills cuz u just paid off everything. I wasn't worried cuz I thought I already paid off all my bills, but after 4 months I found out I still have to pay one more bill with alot of late fees and I called the customer service directly unfortunately I got the very bad customer service again, I explained her everything but she didn't want to listen and she kept explained me something else and repeated again and again and she kept telling me that I didn't understand what she explained and didn't care and listen to what I said. I've done with her too. I told her that I want to pay off my bill, I gave her my card info to pay off my bill but she was like why I can't submit to pay the bill. And then she transferred me to another customer service and then no one answered the phone. Humm. IL have to go to the The Home depot tomorrow to pay off my bill.
Home Depot is requiring a person to have a Smart Phone and a Home Dept App to get the Military Discount. A great number of us Military types do not have a Smart Phone and will not be getting one for a long time. They will say they have a work around but is also not working. Lowes has solved the problem, they let use register and we give the cashier our phone number and everything is solved. They get our money and we get the discount with no problems. After 24 years of Military service, this requirement is like a slap in the face! Word will go through the military community very quickly and make Lowe's customers out of us. What was wrong with the old policy where we just showed our ID to receive the discount?
Purchased a maytag dishwasher and they charged me 9.99 for a power cord on the order when mine is hard wired. That maytag dishwasher did not last 5 years. Bought a whirlpool online april 17th 2022 and put to have them remove my old dishwasher for 30$ Paid through paypal and was not charged the 30$. Called HD online service and the guy said there was a glitch in their system and they would not charge me to take the old one away. Yeah well the guys showed up to deliver the new one told them what I was told and they said they would not take it unless I paid the 30$. Gave them the 30$. Called HD online and the new guy basically said go pound sand. SO I will NEVER ORDER FROM HD OR BUY ANYTHING FROM HD AGAIN! FU GUYS!
Home depot has decent instore service however shipping and delivery is the worst I have ever experienced. I orded new appliances all came on different dates and not even the right date or time they scheduled also always dented on transportation with no packing or corner guards. I ordered a small bracket that was over 2 weeks late and everytime same excuse it's not are fault we use an outside company for that. So apparently according to them as long you use and outside company you have no responsibility to your customers. GREAT BUSINESS MODEL ITS MY FAULT IT WAS THE OTHER GUY
Home Depot does not take return or refund on Rheem Water Heater, neither will they help you, they give you the number to call Rheem, neither will Rheem take the return nor the refund, they can only suggest that you call a service tech which can take a week or two, while you take a cold shower nor can you wash your utensils and spread the bacteria and be sick, this is what your bottom line for buying Rheem water heater, please think before you buy,,,

I bought a new gas range from Whirlpool from Home Depot Online (Order WP*******); The range was delivered on time but the technician who installed only tested the burners and not the oven. When I used it for the first time, there was a strong smell of gas and the temperature never rose above 100 degrees. I called Home Depot after 5 days to report the bad installation and lack of quality assurance, but they only cover issues reported <48 hours, and asked me to contact Whirlpool. Really... a $1000 purchase and it's up to me to figure out with Whirlpool what is the problem and get this fixed. Whirlpool client service is even worse but I did not buy from Whirlpool... Home Depot will abandon you! You are on your own, beware... It's actually like Amazon though you often get 30 days warranty with Amazon, only 2 days with Home Depot
If you don't read anything after this line - please DO NOT order from Home Depot. Still waiting on a washer/dryer, 3 weeks after purchase with 3 excuses as to "why". INCLUDING THAT THEY WERE TOO BUSY TO MAKE OUR DELIVERY AFTER THEY TYPED IN THE WRONG ADDRESS INTO THEIR GPS. (Keep in mind the GPS told them the correct address and they disregarded it and told us that over the phone.)
I bought some windows at home depot back in October. Toke several months to arrive. They used sub contractors to install the windows. This company did such a bad job installing the windows. There is aire filtration in al of them even after they come and fix them. I'm still waiting for them to come back and see what's wrong. I even reported them to the BBB but no help. Please make sure you save your self some headache and money and buy someplace else. The worst company ever. They used third party companies and they don't want to take any responsibility for them. Bad business
I regularly use the Waterville Home Depot store for my building materials. The staff are amazing to deal with and the store is always clean and tidy. The selection of lumber is quite good but beware of the dreaded banana wood (pre-bent lumber LOL) They always have great deals running on pellets or mulch and the guys will load my truck saving my poor old back. The only negatives i have found are the in stock kitchen cabinets (around 40% are damaged) and the website which can be amazingly slow with a search engine that is very inaccurate. I have tried other local HD store in Augusta, Bangor and Topsham. But the Waterville store IMHO is the best...
Answer: Hi Betty, you can also return without receipt if you purchased using your credit card. Give them the same CC and they can tell the price you bought at.
