I saw the ad for their clothing and thought it looked really nice as I was looking for Hawaiian style shirts. I ordered several to get the free shipping and was extremely disappointed when I received them. The quality is way inferior than the pictures on their website and the colors are more faded as the pictures make the shirts look much more vibrant. Also, the sizing of the shirts were all over the place as some were way to small while others were way too big, even though I ordered all Large.
It wasn't until I went to return them that I realized these are most likely made in China, which would explain the cheap, inferior quality of the material and construction. I paid $43 in shipping costs to return about 8 shirts to China and waited several months for a refund. I contacted their customer service and was told it was caught up on customs and to be patient. I waited and almost forgot about and over 6 months later, I got the actual shipment back from China. Unbelievable. I paid over $100 for the clothing and another $43 for shipping, all down the drain. I shipped these in August 2020 and got it back in February 2021. I don't know if they are running a scam but it sure comes close to one.
I will never ever be buying anything from them again as their quality is extremely poor. Don't be suckered by the quality in their photos as the colors are quite faded in comparison and very cheap material. I will be donating the clothes to Goodwill, they are that bad. Order at your own risk and be prepared to throw your money down the drain if you don't like them.

Here is what you really need to know about Hawalili... Their quality is poor. Sizes are often smaller than they should be. Forget about returning or exchanging items - you would have to send things back to China at your own expense. They will generally offer you a 15% ("stop bothering us") refund for items that are wrong or don't fit. It may take weeks or months for items to arrive, since they are shipped from China.
So why do I buy from Hawalili anyway? Because their Hawaiian shirts are just so outrageously fun that I never fail to get complements from total strangers whenever I wear one. Yes, they have the usual beach scenes and palm tree Hawaiian shirts that you can probably get anywhere, but the pirate, hippy, music and other fun patterns patterns are traffic stopping colorful and an absolute blast to wear. I buy the shirts a size too large (because of the constant sizing problems), and the ones that still don't fit, I give to skinnier family members as gifts. It is what it is, but they are lots of fun (and drive my wife crazy).

First off, the 5 reviews here giving 5 stars are clearly fake. You can just tell from the way they are worded. No English speaker really talks like that! Anyway, I was impressed by the unique styles offered so I decided to give them a try. I ordered 6 shirts. After 2 months, 3 arrived, but 3 never did arrive. The ones that did arrive were a size smaller than marked. As others said, customer service is non-existent. The "phone number" is just a front. You cannot get refunds or exchanges. I traced the "return address" to a vacant warehouse in San Francisco. The "tracking" for the package is fake, but so realistic looking that it fooled PayPal to where they sided with them and would not take back the charge! As for quality, I didnt think it was that bad, you get what you pay for at this price point. Run from them and their other website - "Lifestaste". Or anything under the main umbrella of "Newfashion".

I wouldn't even give this ONE STAR - I purchased 2 shirts from this company in November for a Christmas present. It is now the end of January and they have not been delivered. I have queried, queried and queried and they just keep sending me round in circles. This company is disgraceful. DO NOT BE TEMPTED TO BUY ANYTHING!

This company has no concept of shirt sizing. I ordered 2 XL shirts that were different sizes and both ridiculously undersized from what they should be. The smaller of the 2 XLs has a shoulder measurement of 16.93". A standard men's XL shirt has a shoulder measurement of 20.88" and a standard men's XS a measurement of 16.88". So this product is tagged at a size 4 TIMES LARGER THAN IT ACTUALLY IS! It is tagged as an XL but it is equivalent in size to an XS! Like wtf?!

Their customer service and their retun policy are just as bad. They freely admit their sizes aren't consistent and blame me for not checking the size chart for EACH shirt I bought. The buyer is also responsible for the entire return costs to China if they want a refund. As an alternative, they offered first a 15% refund then 25% to keep the shirts and use the refund to "alter the cloth". They had no response when I told them you can't make a shirt bigger.

I won't let them keep my money; I'd rather give it to the post office so I'll be returning anyway.

Also, the shirts have 100% positive reviews on their site but when I went to negatively review mine due to the sizing inaccuracies I received an error stating they couldn't find a purchase order. Convenient when realizing I clicked the link for the product directly from my purchase order.

In my photo, the bottom white shirt is a standard men's XL t-shirt.

What a joke I realized after my second complaint that they said respond within 24 hours... right I only got one thing I ordered it wa super heavy poor quality. I'm about allot of money and the sad thing is I bet some of the "designers" are legit. Never ever answer an advantage asite you trust check it out anyway. I can't believe I got ripped off twicein a year shame on me.

It looked like they sent the merchandise to not one but two wrong cities — Merchandize Stockton CA and Sparks NV instead of Santa Clara — and it was cycling around between Sparks Stockton ever since. Customer support is an endless loop of computer-generated messages. Instead, they appear to have a spoofed USPS tracking site. When I put the tracking number into the USPS tracking site, there was no such shipment.

Never buy anything from this website. It is a spam. Fake product. What you see from its website is not what you got. Plus, the delivery takes months.

They apparently get their itmes made in China but they can't get their supply chain right. Sizes are incorrect. I'm still waiting on two items 2 months after order with reply on if or when they'll be delivered. I've been given the run around. Don't buy from them!

The ad look great and the gear is well presented. But when it arrives in 8-9 weeks later its very very cheap and nasty. I received my order in 3 lots over 9 weeks and also had a mixture of sizes. When i applied to them for the return wrong sizes it turned out to be a nightmare. Basically have to pay the price of the order in shipping to a remote address in China and pray for the best for my refund. In they end they said a 15% refund was better option which also never arrived. They are a waste of time and the quality of the shirts was in $1-$2 quality range. Please dont waste your time with these clowns.

Do not buy from here. Total Scam. Just look at their website customer reviews. All 5 star, fake emails and and fake reviews. I bought three shirts. Took 2 months to arrive. All three were the wrong size. They had the right tag sizes, but the actual shirt was tailored 3 sizes smaller. One shirt was even marketed as mens, with male model in pic, but it was actually a woman's branded, sized and reverse buttoned shirt. Poor quality materials also. I tried to return and they have you jump through hoops with short deadlines between steps or you lose your right to return. They never actually gave me the return address, but required I send them picture of return label by a deadline or return cancelled. Even though they said you can return to San Francisco, you can't. Have to send back to China at high shipping prices. They offer instead of paying high shipping price, get a 15% cash refund "to get the shirt tailored correctly". Hard to do with half the material required and wrong gender shirt. Save yourself money and shop somewhere else.
