SUCH A SCAM AND TOTAL RIPOFF! Know that you aren't the actual hotel website when you book, they WAY overcharge! NO REFUNDS regardless if you have a family emergency, they will request medical records! The hotel OK'd the early check out and I followed the instructions EXACTLY from the representative at guest reservations, they still denied the refund! Lesson learned, never again!

Didn't read my instructions I had put down for window room because I was claustrophobic. And rudely said to me come back at 2 and check in. Teach the white people of your hotel to stop being racist and putting all coloured people to the back of the hotel. In any case I book every week with this hotel. But won't be booking here anymore. I stayed at this hotel in February and woke up to find my front window busted out of my vehicle! My vehicle was parked under a camera unless they don't work! Not only did my vehicle get broken into overnight during our stay but about 20 of us woke up to find our windows busted out and car gone through! Not only did this place have cameras on the building, it had a gated fence and a security guard. So you tell me how no one saw or heard anything g with the numbers of cars that were broken into. I thought our vehicle would be safe because of the cameras and security guard plus we had to proxy in to get into the hotel! Well, I tell you this, I will never book there again and I'm going to spread the word to everyone who will listen NOT TO BOOK AT YOUR HOTEL! It's not safe even with cameras and security! Either your cameras don't work or no one was monitoring them! And where the heck was the security guard when all this was happening? I even uploaded picture of my broken window and glass all over the ground!
You present low rates and hide the actual rates to be paid until the client have confirmed payment. This is not right and the concerned control authority should address this behaviour immediately.

PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL SCAM. After you enter your bank card details, they inform you about a 40% (!) extra charge and impossible to cancel anymore at that time. When you call them, they threaten to add another 150 EUR cancellation fee if you want to cancel. On top of this ridiculous "services & taxes" fee of 40% (the hotel confirmed me there are no such taxes), they charge much more as the direct rate of the hotel. SCAM SITE!
I was double charged for a 10 day hotel stay! Customer service was NOT helpful, they kept telling me to just wait or to call back. Emailing them didn't work either. They never reimbursed me, even after providing proof with my credit card statement that I was double booked.
Guest Reservations uses shady, deceptive and misleading business practices. They charged me $500 more for the same room, same dates, same hotel as my son was charged suin g another site. I thought I was actually on the legit hotel site. I booked a refundable reservation but when confirmed it was non-refundable. Customer service kindly refunded me $39 which doesn't even cover my time. 1 star rating because I can't choose zero stars.

I had a medical procedure & had to stay over. Pagoda hotel was dirty, someone stole items from my room & there were roaches everywhere. I couldn't change rooms. The staff had NO extra blankets or comforter- only sheets. I was afraid to sleep there & checked out early

From the outset, I encountered multiple issues that has already greatly affected the quality of my stay:
The bed sheets provided were untidy and unacceptable. {refer photographs attached}
The heater in the room was not functioning properly, with the temperature not going above 20°C, even after the room change. {refer photograph attached for the second room}.
Engineer told me that maybe someone must attend to this issue in the morning and there is nothing much they can do right now.
Despite assurances, the temperature remained too cold and uncomfortable. {believe me I had to take two quilts along with my warmer to manage the night}
In addition to these physical discomforts, I was treated in a highly unprofessional manner by the Guest Service desk & later by Guest relationship managers.
One of your relationship managers gave me a look & used the tone that felt demeaning and condescending. {I expressed it to them that I felt extremely small}
When another representative spoke to me about upgrading my room, their tone was patronizing, which left me feeling deeply disrespected and upset. {I never asked for any kind of upgrade}. It was only after I broke down in tears in front of them {literally} that they offered an apology, and I told them that my intention was never seek an upgrade or trouble them in anyway.
This level of service is entirely unacceptable and does not reflect the standard I expected from your establishment.
I believe it is within my rights to request a full refund for the distress and inconvenience caused, and I expect this matter to be addressed immediately.
Please confirm the steps you will take to resolve this situation and process my refund at your earliest convenience. I trust that you will handle this issue with the seriousness it deserves.

I thought I was making a booking on Johari Rotana but it was Guest Reservations. While the rates were okay, I was charged an extra 428 USD they called Taxes and service fee, more than double the hotel rates. I tried calling their help line and it was a machine with no option to speak to a person. Cancellation was not an option as cancellation fee was also exorbitant - over 200 USD. My advise, ensure you are booking directly on the hotel website.

Ik verbleef afgelopen januari 2025 in hotel national Antwerpen. Helaas een zeer teleurstellende ervaring gehad in dit hotel. We hadden een overnachting met ontbijt geboekt, maar in de ochtend bleek er helemaal geen ontbijt te zijn. De reden? Volgens het hotel was er iemand ziek. Maar voor een grote eetzaal is het toch vreemd dat alles op één persoon zou draaien?
Ons werd beloofd dat we ons geld voor het ontbijt terug zouden krijgen. Maar nu, weken later, hebben we nog steeds niets ontvangen. We hebben meerdere keren contact gezocht via e-mail en telefoon, maar het hotel reageert nergens meer op. Geen gehoor, geen oplossing, en nog altijd geen geld terug.
Heel jammer dat er zo wordt omgegaan met gasten. Ik zou dit hotel absoluut niet aanraden!

Due to the escalating flood situation around Townsville at the weekend, we checked out at 7.30am on Sunday, a day earlier than we were meant to, leaving a note with the key cards explaining our situation. If we did not leave Townsville at that time, we would have been flood bound for several days. I also phoned reception when they opened.
I have requested to have the unused nights accommodation credited to a future booking at the end of March. I was told this was not possible because of a 24 hour cancellation policy, and that we gave insufficient time to have the room cleaned.
So much for showing compassion at a time when many people are flood bound.

Hosted a gymnastics meet only to have workers complain of kids doing GYMNASTICS in the lobby away from everyone. No one was getting hurt or damaging anything. The bar area had more noise than the gymnasts kids playing and socializing. On top of that we had a worker state "they need to have shoes on because it's unsafe" but yet we were on the 7th floor with a window that opened to where you could fall out. The only thing holding that window from fully opening was a small bolt that wasn't even screwed in all the way. But kids playing without shoes is "unsafe". It's ridiculous to have a comment like that when you need to get your hotel in order and make it safe to all people, not just kids. And for the price to stay there…at least get the corrosion and what looked to be rust out of the shower. It was disgusting to say the least. Won't ever stay there again.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Cartagena, and unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. The hotel is very old, and the property is not well-maintained. The grounds looked neglected, and the overall atmosphere felt outdated compared to the photos online, which are clearly not representative of its current state.
The restaurant was another major disappointment. My son's salmon tasted old, and the overall quality of the food was poor. It seemed like the ingredients were not fresh, making for a very unpleasant dining experience.
Additionally, on January 30th, there was a party at the hotel, and the music was unbearably loud. I was not at the event, but it was so disruptive that I could barely hear my online class and struggled to sleep. The noise level was unacceptable for a hotel that should prioritize guest comfort.
Another downside is the location. It is far from everything in the city, making it inconvenient for sightseeing or accessing restaurants and attractions.
Overall, this stay was disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable experience in Cartagena.

Mi experiencia en el Hotel SANMA fue extremadamente decepcionante. El servicio fue pésimo, y lo peor de todo ocurrió al momento de mi salida. Al querer regresar por un pequeño joyero que contenía mis joyas, el hotel se negó a devolverlo, argumentando que no era posible hacerlo. Para colmo, en lugar de ofrecer una solución, sugirieron que si lo deseaba, me compraran un joyero nuevo, sin ninguna mención de mis pertenencias. Claramente, no se tomaron en serio la situación ni mi pérdida, dejando entrever una falta total de profesionalismo y honestidad.
