Dot not go

I visited Jacksonville for three days and stayed at this hotel. Two issues that I faced that made me advice not to go to this hotel. 1- They give me a room for someone who is still in the room or has not been cleaned yet. I could not tell. 2- They give you a parking tag so you can park in the hotel parking and do not tell you that it will cost you $5 per day to Park.

guestresevations.com is a PREDATORY site that purposely deceives you with low pricing and charges you exorbitant SCAM FEES WITHOUT DISCLOSING THEM TO YOU as you are checking out. NEVER USE THEM unless you don't mind getting scammed and wasting your money. FURTHERMORE, the hotels themselves are in cohoots with these scammers fully intending to RIP YOU OFF and will not cooperate with you, make adjustments, and deny having anything to with this scam. I managed to get the front desk to reveal they do contract with these scammers.

Disappointing 🙁

So I believe in starting with the positive which is what I will do. The fitness center was great due to options of cardio machines and weights. Drinks were very strong.(could be considered positive or negative) bed was fantastic. Fire show was really entertaining. Now for the negatives:
Drinks were bad; food choices were minimal and food wasn't very good; expected lots of fish choices but there weren't any; only 1 chicken item maybe(except the meat that servers walked around with at buffet and the steak and salmon at steak house was very tasty); service was not good at pool; cleanliness wasn't monitored well in rooms, restrooms or pool areas. Beach was a hike from the pool and I'm in good shape. Organization of OD m and departure was weak. Activities were lame. We have been to Cancun 3x in the last 18 months having stayed atRIU resorts previously. This resort was a huge disappointment.

Disappointed.

Extremely disappointed with my experience on my arrival I was told that I would not be able to use the pool or the restaurant they will be closed the holidays. How can that happen? I was looking forward for a few days of relaxation by the pool with my daughter. The room was extremely dirty. The refrigerator smell. The only cups compensation I got was a cheap fruit platter and $30 off my bill unbelievable.! I would not recommend this hotel for anyone and I would never come back..

Horrible policy

A complete lack of empathy and understanding. My child became sick with a contagious virus and rather than doing the right thing and doing a refund, they elected to hold true to their no cancellation policy which would force us to show up and risk the other guests of the hotel to contract the virus. Obviously, we elected to not put anyone at risk and stayed home but it's unfortunate that they would put people in the position that they need to choose. No regard for the guests staying at the hotel or me. Makes my choice of accommodations when in ac much easier, it won't be there

Total crooks

To be honest, I don't know how I ended up on their website as I thought I was booking through the hotel. When I booked the site glitched and forced me to book again. It was two days later my credit card company informed me that I was double charged. I called the hotel and they said they couldn't refund because I went through guest reservations. They said they would cancel the reservation happily but guest reservations had charged the card, not them. So I called guest reservations and explained what had happened and asked for a refund for the double booking, which was a result of a glitch on their website. They said they had to get permission from the hotel to issue a refund. Over the course of two weeks they emailed every few days saying they were trying to reach the hotel, the same hotel that I had called and was told they would happily refund, but guest reservations wasn't getting a response. Eventually they said they couldn't get a response from the hotel and therefore could not refund me for the double booking that was their fault to begin with. Total crooks! Didn't use this site or have anything to do with this organization. They completely refuse to take responsibility and just took $200 and I received nothing in return.

I (accidentally) booked accommodation in Bali via Guest Reservations, mistaking the site for the hotel's official website due to its appearance. I had previously seen a significantly cheaper offer on booking. Com. The booking process on Guest Reservations was extremely misleading: The pricing shown on the site only listed the price per night, without clearly indicating this—especially not in the context of the total booking duration (3 nights). There was no clear breakdown of the total cost before completing the booking, which I find highly unprofessional. Only when reviewing the credit card charges did it become apparent that the total price was more than three times higher than expected, including hidden fees and so-called "service charges." Unfortunately, we had selected the wrong dates and made a mistake with the travel period. I then contacted the hotel directly, which responded very generously. They confirmed that they would not charge any cancellation fees and that Guest Reservations, acting as a travel agent, could cancel the booking free of charge. However, Guest Reservations initially refused and falsely claimed that the hotel would not authorize a refund—an outright lie. While customer service responded fairly quickly at first, communication suddenly stopped after a few follow-up emails. I've now been waiting over 10 days for a response regarding my refund—despite multiple emails—and I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated. The entire experience feels like a deliberately opaque business model based on misleading customers. Anyone not paying close attention could easily end up paying three to four times the original price—due to hidden fees, a lack of transparency, and unreachable customer service. My conclusion: Never again Guest Reservations. I strongly advise against booking through this site. I have now contacted the consumer protection agency and will consider legal action if no refund is issued.

I know it's my fault just for being confident, and avoid reading all the terms and conditions
But a 30% service fee is IMHO absolutly out of market; I'll never use this company again

I really thought that I was making a reservation at the hotel website. I opted for a refundable reservation but it was only after I paid with a credit card, that the real price was quoted with taxes, amounting to twice the price that I would have paid with Booking. They did not send me any e mail with a reservation number and a confirmation code. Pls cancel my booking and refund Amount ASAP.

Bait and switch ad

I was on the official hotel website for EB Hotel Quito comparing prices of the rooms for a same day reservation. Unknowingly I clicked a deceptive ad from GuestReservations. Com thinking it was a discount offer from the hotel. I received and applied the code. What I now know was the final payment page, did not display the price. I thought the button I clicked would lead to another page showing the price, instead it charged my card. I called immediately because it was significantly more than the 2 other options that were directly with the hotel; note that I still believed I was dealing directly with the hotel. Because it was last minute the representative refused to refund my money and suggested I talk to the hotel when I arrived. At the hotel I learned that I had booked with an Expedia company and not directly with the hotel. The hotel had no way of refunding the difference in room price. This experience with Guestreservations. Com, an Expedia company, ensures I will never use them. They use deceptive ads that make you believe they are the hotel, final payment page does not obviously display the price, and despite calling immediately refused to refund my money.

I checked in at Radhey ki haveli on 26th March and checked out on 27th March. On 27th morning while attending aarti at ur temple premises, one of your staff men (tall, curly hairs and big moustached) holded my arm and pushed me back forcely with other women. When I reacted he shouted on me. This aggressive attitude towards female guests should taken as serious concern. Unfortunately I don't know his name but I request to share the pic of your staff persons so that I can easily identify him. He was dressed in khaki colour shirt. Take strict action against him by immediately throwing him out of service as if you keep these type of antisocial staff your hotel reputation is definitely going to effect badly. I expect positive response.

SCAM ALERT — Guest Reservations! Do NOT use Guest Reservations — this company is deceptive and in my opinion, criminal. I tried to book directly with the Hilton Waldorf in London, but Guest Reservations disguised themselves as the hotel website. I agreed to a price and paid, only to have my credit card charged €1,882 — €580 more than the advertised price in hidden taxes and fees, with no warning or consent. I cancelled within 4 minutes and received an email confirming cancellation. But no refund came. After a week of waiting, they hid behind tiny print in their "terms and conditions" and refused to refund me. They are now claiming a "no-cancellation" policy — despite the instant cancellation and confirmation. They've taken €1,800 from me for nothing — no room, no service, and zero accountability. Thousands of other victims have reported the same thing. Their "customer care" is nothing but an AI bot repeating scripted nonsense. No real person will help. This company preys on travelers, disguises itself as legitimate hotel websites, and steals your money. Please STAY FAR AWAY from Guest Reservations. Share this to protect others! Total fraudsters do not use this company unless you want to to be overcharged
I tried to book direct with the hotel and for some reason guest reservations was disguised as the hotel, apparently what they do from reading many reviews, I agreed a price and paid but my card was charged over 500 euro more than the price advertised in taxes etc, I cancelled the reservation with in 4 mins of booking and got an email of the same
However when I did not receive my money back.
Guest reservations have hidden behind small print terms and conditions and customer service has not helped
They now don't give me refund or the accommodation as I cancelled as they state no cancellation policy
1800 euro gone with no come back it seems
I have done some research to find thousands of people with the same experience
This company are criminals in my opinion

We stayed here 2 weekends ago.with our girls' hockey team. We called the RCMP 3 times during the night for 2 separate guests who were under the influence and banging on doors and yelling profanities down the hallway. At 3 AM I was awoken by noises of a female getting beat up on the floor above me. We had zero sleep and felt hugely unsafe. The room doors don't have safety latches on them. There was only 1 staff member on at all times day and night - they apparently kept allowing the offenders to come back in and never called the police themselves. In addition the shower didn't drain but I was told there was nothing they could do about that. Also the overhead hinge on the room door pulled off and was hanging down so the door could only be opened 1/2 way - again I was told there was nothing they could do about it. To top it off, management has completely ignored all attempts at discussing the deplorable stay and hence this review. Do NOt stay here.

Beware- SCAM

Thinking I was making a reservation at the Wyndham, I was charged absurd fees at the checkout. I called the Wyndham directly and that's when they informed me Guest reservations is a 3rd party. Calling Guest Reservations they told me I couldn't get a refund even though it was within 30 minutes of making the reservation. I asked for a supervisor and customer service would not transfer me.

Unfortunately made a booking through the platform which advertised breakfast, wifi and shuttle. When the confirmation received, shuttle was not included amongst other things. Stayed on the line for customer service for over 2 hours, and called multiple times, only to be able to be assisted by the Sales team who do not have the tools to view or change any bookings. Strongly advise to stay away, save yourself the hassle and book directly with hotel or other reputable platforms.

One Night Stay

We booked last minutes. We checked, went and ate came back to a woman laying in the parking lot and cops had to be called due to it being a DV incident. It smelled like someone was smoking weed all around. The tv didn't hardly work. The floors were still dirty. There are soft spots all in the floors. The a/c sucks. They wouldn't supply extra pillows. Then at midnight we heard stomping upstairs all night.

I would not recommend nor use this website again. The additional fee was not listed with the advertised price and only showed up after the payment had been processed. There is no way to cancel without losing even more money. Customer service has been silent after multiple emails and requests for help. Completely unfair and unacceptable!

BE VERY CAUTIOUS

SUCH A SCAM AND TOTAL RIPOFF! Know that you aren't the actual hotel website when you book, they WAY overcharge! NO REFUNDS regardless if you have a family emergency, they will request medical records! The hotel OK'd the early check out and I followed the instructions EXACTLY from the representative at guest reservations, they still denied the refund! Lesson learned, never again!
