The hotel, made a mistake and charged me, they have credited me back. 😊
As for this company…. Finally after I had to send 3 different emails and I actually send one to their lawyer today, (which is on their website) not sure if that helped, but I finally got a response. From the upfront cost of $502.94 for two nights they finally credited me back $249.45 because I only stayed 1 night. So their fee was $80.
My BEST advice, make sure you READ what site you are booking on! Always book directly with Hotel!

I booked and with minutes tried to cancel because I used this service by mistake. It's deceiving looking like you're the hotel, but you're not.
She wouldn't help, she wouldn't get her supervisor. She said if I want to cancel. I'd have to call and cancel via the hotel.
I arrived, hotel. Reservation was there.
I had two nights booked, but my meeting got changed and only needed 1 night.
I went to check out early and the hotel accommodated no problem. They gave me a receipt. I thought this is good. I was only charged 1 night.
Then I decided to check my CC. I was charged $502.97 via this website. Plus charged by the Hotel another $180.00.
I paid $700 for 1 night! 😔😔😔😔
I want my money back!
I have sent a customer service request to this company. Nothing yet and they are supposed be 24/7.
If you correct my refund quickly, I will rewrite my review!

My wife completed reservation for $208, free cancellation. Once confirmed bill was $290 and no cancellation possible. Disputed with credit card company. A whole different company shows up and provides a screen shot that implies we knew about the fees and cancellation policy. Stay away. Wish I could give negative stars..

Buyer beware.
I made my reservation over the phone with Choice Hotels and was given a non cancel reservation without knowing. I was not give any other choices nor was I told this reservation could not be cancelled, changed or refunded. When I received the email it was stated there but was already too late to cancel. I guess they are like crooks, you have to stay one step ahead of them so you don't get ripped off.
When I talked to the manager at the hotel itself she said "you should make better choices". I guess she's right, had I had choices I could have made better ones.

They pre charged me $600 to stay at Land of Nod, an abandoned hotel. I arrived to a boarded up building. According to the people at the new hotel I had to book that hotel has been abandoned for 6 months

This place is horrible and ran by careless, rude, unprofessional people that SHOULD NOT be working in customer service! I booked a room at this place in January 2024 for my May 2024 graduation. I added in the comments that I may arrive early. Two weeks before my ceremony I called to confirm the reservation and again stated that I would probably arrive early. The day of my graduation I arrived around 1:20pm (traffic) and was told by Jennifer that there were no rooms available and that my checking time was 3pm. Jennifer said, "house keeping did not start turning over rooms until 9am." I explained that I was here to attend my graduation ceremony and needed to dress myself and my 3-year-old. Jennifer said, " I don't know what to tell you, we don't have a room for you." At this point, I am in tears, as the arrival time for students (2pm) is fast approaching and I have no place to get dressed. Jennifer goes about doing others stuff while I'm standing at the front desk trying to wrap my head around what's happening and how to fix it. Finally, I asked, do you have anywhere for me to change? That's when she pointed to the restroom across from the from desk. I had no chose but to wash my baby and I in the restroom sink then dress us for the ceremony…very humiliating! In comes Deloris, the General Manager, who was just as rude and unconcerned by the situation. She reiterated everything Jennifer said and literally faulted me for arriving early. By the time I finished dressing us, Deloris comes knocking on the restroom door saying she has a room for me now as if she is some kind of hero saving the day. This experience was traumatic and over-shadowed what should have been one of the greatest moments in my life. We checked out the next day and did not stay the entire weekend as scheduled as I was not giving this place another dime of my money. Feel free to read the attached customer service response to my complaint. It would seem the entire company needs a lesson in CUSTOMER SERVICE!

The TV did not work in the room. There was no light over the sink. They do not have free breakfast and no microwave in the room or free coffee yet at 6am. We paid 234 for our room expected more. Staff was friendly, but one person alone on a Saturday night

My friend was there two weeks and they charged a $250 fee because they said she smoked in the room which was not true. I helped her clean her room before she left and it was exemplary. The manager commented on how clean it was and did not say anything then about any complaint he had. Then he charged $250 without any explanation until asked later and won't give the money back. I was helping her by paying her bill and am stuck with that extra expense.

My son stayed at your hotel from March 12-14,2024, to attend the EAST Conference. He forgot his MacBook and iPhone 15 chargers when he checked out. I made multiple calls before finally speaking to a staff member, who told me to hold but never returned. After waiting for almost 20 minutes, I hung up. The next day, after several more attempts, I reached another staff member who directed me to a website called Chargerback to report the lost items. I was surprised to learn that they have their own Lost and Found service. My son submitted the report, but we haven't heard back. Is this really the level of service expected from a Hilton Hotel? Unless the room wasn't cleaned after checkout, the chargers should have been found immediately.

We have recently left New York after a stay at the Riu Plaza hotel, Times Square. We arrived after a nine hour train journey. On arrival we were greeted
By two taxes to be paid, before the receptionist would consider booking us in. We had booked a king size deluxe room, and were sorely disappointed, poky would best describe it. We were on a lower level which was noisy 24 hours per day, with an awful view. We did ask to move but were refused.
We agree with all the other comments referring to the key cards. Temperamental would be an understatement. Reception kept telling us that the cards were fine it was us, however other people were constantly having the same problems!
Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice. However queuing for breakfast was very busy and clogging up the lift area.

AVOID AT ALL COST!
We were searching for a specific Hotel in Mauritius for a business trip for one of our Directors. The approach to the website was as read in previous complaints seen as the original Hotel's website.
Unfortunately, the person making the booking did not thoroughly investigate the site and went ahead in making the booking thinking this was the Hotel direct.
The booking was made and the Hotel confirmed the booking, but we needed a Tax Invoice. We were led to various parties being involved in this booking.
From the Hotel to Agoda.com, from Agoda.com to Priceline.com and then back to Guest Reservations.com with NO SUCCESS in obtaining the invoice.
The website is easy to use and quick to respond to when you still have to make the booking but the minute that the booking is paid, you can't obtain booking details etc. Then the site hangs on completing the prompts.
After three months of emailing various parties and sending WhatsApp, we received an email this morning offering 25% discount on our next booking with them...give them credit, they are persistent in making money!

Booked a stay using this website and was charged and extra $131.00 for "taxes", cancelled within a half hour of booking the reservation and charged the full $382.00 when booking directly from the hotel was $232 including taxes. Was charged $350 against my card by this Marriott without permission and without receipt. Have emailed and called a dozen times - with no return call and no return email from Wendy or Jason (front desk managers). Had to dispute it with my credit card company. I did click this site because they offer the most cheaper rate but this is just their way of robbing their customer because at the end of the transaction i was charge P3814. They have charge me for more than 60% of the original shown price. I will never recommend this site. It's giving us false information showing us cheap rates but you will be fooled at the end. Worst experience by far. They took money that I didn't authorize, told me they were sending me emails with signed receipts. Never received anything and the MANAGAER IS NEVER ON DUTY. AT LEAST THATS WHAT THE GUY SAID WHEN IVE BEEN CALLING everyday since 5/5. I'm about to just drive there and deal with these "people" in person! I've had it, I have been nothing but nice to them and no one is helping me at. I'm very frustrated at them and this is not over. I googled hotels in Augusta Ks. A list of hotels was shown. I saw Comfort Inn and clicked on what I thought was the comfort webpage. I found a room for $96 per night. I booked 2 nights. Total $193. When got the receipt there was a $111 service and handling charge. I called to cancel and recieve a refund immediatly. They said it is non refundable. I am filing a dispute on my card. This is a scam site that mimicks Comfort Inn. Scam!Scam!
