They constantly promise refunds on messed-up orders. I have had so many messed up and have yet to see a single cent refunded. Stay away. Their standards for hiring delivery drivers are low.
I don't leave reviews often, but this one really got me. We order lunch ever week for our office and client meetings. They have messed up orders up and delivery times too frequently to keep our business. We had a huge client meeting and we promised lunch. It was supposed to be delivered at 12:30pm. I get a notification at 12:06 saying my order has been canceled and there's nothing they can do, other than I reorder everything, even though it won't make it in time. No warning, no call, just canceled. They're costumer service is AWFUL! Only excuses, no accountability. When I asked if we could get a credit they offered $7... The restaurant did in fact receive our order and it was ready for pick up, so I went a picked it up and they only offered $7. Luckily I was able to get it, the restaurant even said they wouldn't have known what to do with all the food orders. If you actually want your food and want it on time, order from somewhere else!
Traveling with my children and couldn't leave the hotel. I put in multiple orders, all of which were delayed a total of 4 hours, only to have them cancel again, never bringing us any food at all.
If you make a mistake with your order. They won't cancel. They made me wait 16 minutes in chat while the food was ready. No refund was given. Uber eats is far more superior.

Grubhub is corrupt and criminal and is rated a C- on the BBB. Grubhub is charging for completely inaccurate orders, and flagging you for no fault of your own if you complain. They purposefully make it nearly impossible to reach a live agent and when you do, they offer a $5 coupon instead of a refund, and hang up on you. There is no contact number listed on the site and you have to scour the internet just to find it. Instead of holding themselves and their employees accountable they will intentionally steal your money knowing you have no other option to feed your children.

I ordered a medium size pizza with sausage & mushrooms to be picked up by me. The cost was $25.89 with tax 27.96! I could not cancel. When I picked it up classic pizza advised never use Yelp as it directs orders to Grub Hub and their surcharge is outrageous.
Grubhub is ok provided you're not hungry. Thats because it hit or miss if you receive the food or not. I get delivery confirmations with a pic that shows they left my food at the wrong house. And Thanksgiving dinner was charged, but they cancelled my order 2 hours before dinner time. We had soup. Hit or miss. Just realize that and don't plan holiday meals using them!
On 10/16 my GrubHub driver delivered my food to the wrong location. I have been trying to get a refund for a month and GrubHub has not been helpful. They say the refund has been issued but it is not in my bank account. They asked me to call my bank and even my bank says the refund has not been issued. I have spent hundreds of dollars on GrubHub and this is it for me. I will use Uber Eats from now on. GrubHub is NOT helpful at all.
I've been waiting 1 hour, 45 minutes since ordering. It was supposed to be here an hour ago. Every time I checked, it was another 30 minutes. Eventually, it was cancelled without any reason. Orders are repeatedly delivered to the wrong address, most recent one I contacted their chat where I was disconnected then chat was unable to be reopen after to try to speak to someone else. I had to call in and was offered a promo code that was broken up so I couldn't use the entire amount towards the promo.
They over charge by an incredible amount I spent 60 dollars I went to same restaurant and only spent 23 in person they add charges to menu cost. They also don't deliver all items purchased They forget things all the time I highly recommend not using them totally not worth it
They refused to give me a refund after the driver left my food at the wrong house. Then told me food would be delivered 40 minutes after the original delivery time. Then I was sent another notice that the delivery would be another 40 minutes late. I had to wait 3 hours for my food and all they could offer was a $5 grubhub credit. The worst customer service.
I got a violent grubhub delivery guy who sent us threatening texts when we asked him not to leave our food on the floor, which he did. I sent the texts to GRUBHUB and they IGNORED the email. That's right! THEY IGNORED US AND TOOK ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM. THEY ARE THE BY FAR THE WORST COMPANY I'VE EVER DEALT WITH. I've posted some of the driver's texts. There is almost always a huge delay with delivery and the food is no longer hot upon delivery, if delivered at all.
They supposed to update the current driver for pick up time and delivery...in many occasions they send the pick up order late and if the driver pick up late automatically the delivery will late...if that the driver that recieve the order and late drop. Grubhub will send a violation... Everytime you contact them and ask why I am getting violation for the late and which delivery they have no knowledge on which delivery was late... It is not fair for driver to get the violation if the order was send out late.
Always either very late or missing an important item doordash is a lot better what kind of incompetents are running this business
Limited restaurant options and the delivery is never on time. It's always delayed for more than an hour from their initial delivery time.
Never use grubhub today 10 19 23 I ordered about $148.00 of food thou grubhub the grubhub driver never delivered my food and when I contacted I can get them to refund all of my money from grubhub or is you do get your order most of your food is missing and grubhub don't want to refund all of your money back. So please do not use grubhub, put up your food your self I orded from the original roadhouse grill in victorvillr ca are if you order the ribs when order arrives most of your ribs is missing so please pick up your own food.
In the last 3 weeks 2 orders have been cancelled and 1 order the driver left my food on the ground outside without even ringing the intercom for me to get the food even though I specified to text me if the driver didn't want to come up. Also they take the money out of your account right away but you have to wait to receive your money back. Wow I got a $5.00 credit for next order. I placed my original order at 5:30 and now it's 7pm. I'm just so disappointed in Grub Hub.
