Do not use

I had some visitors On a Saturday night and I ordered some food from a restaurant nearby and paidc $45 for the order. Minutes later I get a text that my order was cancelled. I called customer service to inquire about my order and he said that the restaurant was closed and I will get my money refunded in 48hours to my card. I tried to explain to him that I used the money left on my card and I did not have extra money to spare. He said he can give me a free grubhub for $ 5 dollars and when I expressed my frustration he just hang up the phone on me. I had to order pizza that night and ended up paying $35 to my bank for overdraft fees. How can such a company charge you for an order if the restaurant is closed. And why can not they refund your money right away. I will never use this company again and will just call the restaurant by myself next time. This place is a joke and a big scam.

First time user and visiting Dallas, I saw an advertisement for Grub Hub. My wife and I decided to give it a try. We ordered from a restaurant with a five star review. We were told our order was 100 mins out after our order was placed, but decided to stick with it. Our ordered was delivered 30 mins sooner than quoted, but incomplete. My wife's entire meal was missing. I called the number provided on the invoice. After speaking with Brittany, I was told the only thing that could be done was to have have our original request fulfilled. I asked to speak with a manager and Brittany said she was the manager. I said, so you're okay with a one star review then? And she said yes, you're an "American and can do what you want". I was upset now and said, so that's what you're sticking with? You don't care that your restaurant is getting a one star review? She said, "well, it's not my restaurant, and you're an adult who can do what you want". When I tried to respond, she hung up on me. I found the number for Grub Hub's customer service, and called and spoke to Whitney. She was polite, and at least courteous. She said she would apply a $10 credit to my account and call the restaurant to see if they would comp the entree. I was happy she was at least was respectful. I received a text about five minutes later that said since the entree was being sent out again, the restaurant would not comp the entree. The entree took another 50 minutes to arrive, even though we were told it would be 25 minutes. I'm a first time, last time Grub Hub user. I will not be using my $10 credit.

I don't get why this company even exists... They advertise that you can order from ANY restaurant, but when I go to use their crappy app the only restaurants I can order from are ones that ALREADY deliver. It's the 21st Century and somehow there's no company that exists who can bring you food from a non-delivery restaurant. If I could give zero stars I would.

Not happy

I placed an order, it was going to take an hour for delivery which is fine. I went about my business and when it was time for the delivery I sat down to check my emails. In my emails was a message from GrubHub that my order had been cancelled due to the restaurant changing something. Why didn't they call me? I gave my phone number when I registered. So I called them to voice my complaint and they didn't care. They didn't ask my name or anything else. They did say they were sorry but I could tell the guy I was talking to really didn't care one way or the other. It is also going to take 3-4 days to get my money refunded to my bank account. They said this was a bank problem, not theirs. I would have appreciated a phone call.

NEVER AGAIN

Although customer service was nice and i was refunded of delivery fee and deliver tip but i am handicap and i specifically wrote on the instructions to buzz my apartment number i get a call from the man saying im outside i asked him to buzz he said he couldn't see a buzzer i said he was in the wrong place he insisted he was in the right spot so i go out side in the freezing rainy weather mind you each time i go outside i have to wrestle my way up stairs so he is not outside once again like he had said so i come back inside send my 8 yr old daughter whom isnt handicap to see if she sees him outside she didnt so she came back in i called the man once more and he said he was in the back of the building and i would have to come outside so i had to wrestle my way upstairs AGAIN walk make may way all the way around the other side of the building which isnt close at all mind you its freezing and raining and my 8 and 6 year old children are inside our home when i finally go to him he stared at me after giving me my food waiting for a tip i just turned around and walked away thanks to the customer service but i will never us grub hub in Madison WIi due to the man who delivered my food 30 minutes late and turned convenience into more of a chore then going ot to eat!

Fast delivery!

Ordered at 11:14pm and was told delivery would be 11:45-11:55. Got my food at 11:35 and it is amazing! Food is hot, delivery is quick, nothing out of order here. Would suggest using this service to anyone!

Was craving some food as I was studying and went on this grubhub I heard about. Typed in my address and then I typed in a restaurant near me that I wanted food from. No results. I typed in another. No results. After trying every restaurant near me and getting no results ever single time I realized that "grubhub" is just a horrible service. I live in a fairly big city where you'd think a service like this would be. But nope. Unfortunately I can't give Grubhub zero stars but I guess I will give it one star for the clever name. I recommend this service to nobody. It is a joke of a service and an embarrassment of a company. My friend is starting up a new company that will make GrubHub look like a childs app. GrubHub will be no more soon.

I work customer service also and I donot think that wayYES we all have bad days but, we CANNOT allow it to reflect in OUR service.

Very pissed off customer for this restaurant and GRUB HUB
I will blast you all over the internet to never EVER use your service.

Still waiting for order

Order was expected to be delivered between 12:45 and 12:55. Still waiting for delivery at 1:05. Contacted customer service and was told she would call restaurant and text me that status. That was 10 minutes ago. Still waiting for that response too. Very disappointed. Won't be using the service ever again.

WORKERS BEWARE!

If you have options pick Postmates, the confusing driver care support is the most confusing policy ever, they toss you around to different departments via email to fix simple problems. If you would like to make money I implore you these people will leave you nearly Broke on Thanksgiving, and honestly it feels like they are doing it for entertainment. This is not the way a business should be run, if you plan on working here good luck. I'm trying to make enough money to leave this crap-Fest of a job.

I don't order food very often but when I do and I see those "Sign up for an account now!" I never sign up. However, with GrubHub you have to sign up to place your order. It's a hassle, it's stupid, and I really don't like it. I think I would have a better opinion on this site if it weren't for this fact.

The good points of this site include that it's easy to use, order, and view your receipts. Anyone can use this site it's so easy.

HORRIBLE!

I am starving and my blood sugar is low to the point where I'm feeling light headed. I ordered food with Eat24 to be delivered because I can't leave work today and it's been way over an hour and there are still no signs of my food. I tried getting in contact with someone from Eat24 and it says that the chat is backed up because they're busy so I can't get in touch with anyone, and I'll get in touch with someone as soon as possible. It's been half an hour and it's still vee saying that. I tried having them contact me with the restaurant and nothing happened. After almost 2 hours I have cancelled my order, and they said they would send me an email regarding that and guess what? Still no email either! I want my money back and will not be using them again. I ended up ordering from a place by my work that I didn't really want to eat from, but at least I know they'll get here quick and it will be a sure thing, unlike this service!

It used to be good until they leaked personal info out and CCs and info were stolen. The customer service people always have an Attitude and then place you on hold for 20 mins or longer with Terrible Music blasting in your ears.

I loved when Grubhub would give you a chance to play the game and win a free drink or 10 percent off your next meal. Foodler wins with doing the Pts and getting items.

IDK what else to say but sometimes its the Restaurants and not GRUBHUB but 60 percent of the time Grubhub is either down, does something stupid and doesnt palce your order or they Lie to you over the phone and say its on the way but in reality the order comes 50 mins later.

So I accidentally put in an order before it was ready and I was charged for it right away, and thanks to the website being so easily navigated it was so easy to change it and get the right order submitted and refunded for the wrong one. Thankful and impressed

This business is false advertising and they don't even care. I order food from Zaza's from an online menu, and when I went to go pick up my food it was a totally different price. I asked the man behind the counter what do you mean the menu said $6.99 and when I come to pick up my food it is $7.99 which was upsetting but okay its just a dollar more places do raise prices but the order that I order was the spicy chicken with fries and a lemonade. When I went to get my food he told me that there was no lemonade with it said lemonade would be more with the order. The man told me if I wanted to get the the order I will have to pay an extra dollar which I thought was wrong because that's false advertisement you should take that website down and don't try to tell me that it's not you you are the restaurant I order from. Don't want it I can give you your money back (CAUSE WE GETTING MONEY OVER HERE) HOW RUDE, HOW RUDE those were his exact words. I told him I wasn't paying an extra dollar for a lemonade in the advertisement said it came with a lemonade. Instead of the lemonade they were giving out little can sodas which they are really getting over when there can sodas are only $0.65 where is there lemonades he said would be a dollar this is supposed to be with the meal. He just was really rude not trying to listen to what I had to say he tried to say this wasn't his store and I know it was because the number that I called from the website was *******292 and then they had another number *******489. It just was terrible service and since they know they're making money over there they don't care how they treat people I think this place should be boycotted seriously for anybody. There have been several times where I have waited over an hour for my delivery and it has surpassed the estimated delivery time. There are no consistent updates with regard to delays. One time, after a 75 minute wait, I called the restaurant and apparently the order never went through but the app said it did! They hold no accountability with their vendors and don't do anything to credit their customers for any type of inconvenience their service causes. I do not recommend using Eat24 if you truly are at the verge of hunger.

Coupon Scam
November 18, 2015

I had a $10.00 off GrubHub coupon for a local restaurant. I went to GrubHub, Placed My Order, entered the coupon promotional code and my credit card info. When the receipt came up it had not applied the coupon. At this point I could not cancel my order. I called GrubHub and I was told by a representative that even though my coupon had not expired it could not be honored because the restaurant had already redeemed its quota of coupons and my coupon would not be honored. I asked to speak to a supervisor and my call was disconnected.
If there are only a certain number of coupons that will be honored, then restaurants should only receive that amount. This restaurant is still handing out these coupons.

Ive had so many issues n most of them r w the customer service. My husband worked 4 them as well until one day he wasnt able 2 log on and they had ended his contract wo any notice n then lied saying he wasnt working all, shifts which was bs. We both were working 7 days 12 hrs a day. Then they short ur miles 24-7 n then scdew ur orders up so ur pay is $#*!ed up everytime. The when i work app is non sence n always messes up so u cant get alot of shifts. Way over staffed n most people are working under their friends or better halfs names which is not legal. Yet grub hub still here even tho so many workers and customers hate the company i called 2 tell them stores r giving us food in bite squad bags. They need to provide bags 4 stores. She said stop looking at it from a corp level. Lol $#*! its my level the more orders i get the more i make. People r gonna start usen bite squad if their food comes n the bag. Common sence... pos company cant wait to see them fail.

I placed an order and received my confirmation e-mail at 6:53. I had ordered from them before and things went smoothly last time. I was feeling under the weather and wanted take out so I thought I would use them again. 51 minutes later I miss a call and when I check the voicemail, the woman stated that I was out of their delivery range. She told me they would be happy to make this right and to call, e-mail or livechat with someone from Eat24. I got on the computer immediately and saw that I had an e-mail from them asking if I wanted to come pick it up instead and within the same minute a second e-mail stating they were canceling my order. Did I get a chance to respond? No. So I live chat with Chris S. Who 30 minutes later tells me that what they will do for me is apply $2 to my next order. I told them they were wasting my time and I was done communicating. He sent one last message back asking if he could call me in which I replied no and he had already disconnected the chat. Needless to say, I ended up with no food, terrible service and no compensation for having wasted a goof 1.5 of my time. I will not be using them again.
