Upsetting

I ordered from a restaurant waited 35 mins just to get an email saying my order was cancelled because the restaurant was not open today! UIm very pregnant by the way. They sent me a 10$ off coupon so I placed another order waited another half hour called grubhub they said my food was out for delivery and was getting me an eta of the driver I held on the pone for 16 mins before hanging up my lunch is an hour long and I wasted it waiting for my for food. I called back got another agent he said my order will be another 20-30 mins at this point I was done i requested a manager and my money back now i have two pending charges for food that was never delivered. Ill NEVER use grubhub again not to mention my coworker next to me ordered at the same time I did from grubub and she also did not get her food..

I've tried using GrubHub a few times this fall and I have to say I don't trust them. First order waited 30 mins past expected delivery and finally called and they told me restaurant cancelled order because they were too busy. I spoke with restaurant and they said they had given an option to add 30 mins on and to let them know but GrubHub never called back. I thought it was a fluke and didnt file complaint after I calmed down. I mean they said it's their policy to call if order cancelled or any issues so they couldn't have dropped the ball that many times. I used them again received my order and was going to try them one more time. Tonight the same thing happened again, food was 15 mins past due I didn't have any messages looked it up on app and showed my order was cancelled 30 mins after my order was placed and a good 45 mins before due time. Again no call or text! When I looked at email I have one saying cancelled because no driver for restaurant and I'll see refund in 3-5 days. So yet again GrubHub throwing blame somewhere else. I called and they said it's never happened before and I should have been called and heard "I completely understand " about 1000 times. They said they've refunded my money and could get me a voucher for $$ to use again in 30 days. At this point it's ridiculous, you charge $9 for delivery and have to gamble on if you will get your food or not. If they can't complete their orders then they should rethink having the service in some markets.

Never received the meal

The delivery fee is approximately the cost of a tank of gas. The meal I ordered was estimated to be delivered within an hour. Almost two hours after the estimated delivery, I received an email indicating that my food was being prepared. By then, three hours later, I had already eaten, since it was enough time to grocery shop and prepare my own meal.
Will not order again. Asked them for a refund and told them to keep the meal.

Wasted evening

I used grub hub to order Indian food from Himalayan Bistro West Roxbury, MA. It took 2 hours to get to me, and then I wS gives the wrong order, I contacted grub hub for the 3rd time, they contacted the restaurant and 30 min later I got my order, it now had two items missing! The food was awful! Grub hub did not care.

DON'T USE IT!

Terrible. They got a**holes running customer service (besides Jaqui). Also, the fact that I've had to use customer service as many times as I have to hate everyone but Jaqui. (Yasmin and Tashina are c*nts.)

False Promises

GrubHub offered a $12 coupon for each friend I referred who created a new account and placed at least one order. They offered the same coupon to the friend who signed up, so I was able to get 4 friends to sign up. They all got their coupons. I never got any. I contacted GrubHub about the issue, and they told me not to expect any coupon codes.
Thanks for lying, GrubHub! I had been recommending you to my friends. But I'll be sure to update them all on your stellar service. And by service I mean fraud.

Absolute worst!

Ordering from app for 1.5+ years. People on Sf (what a hoot!) stated they contacted restaurant and stated order on its way -2.5 hours lmao- $#*!es got snooty with me. They get paid either way lol! I looked up restaurant and hours were not correct. They are unprofessional, rude, and not willing to own up to their own faults. Had to apologize to delivery man(whom I kinow personally)- boo. You guys suck! Enjoy your $!

Garbage service

I've had two bad experiences with this company when ordering food for delivery from two different restaurants. Both times the driver was nowhere to be found and I had to drive to the restaurants to get my food despite waiting 30 minutes over the estimated delivery time. Unbelievably bad service due to incompetent drivers. Never again will I use this company.

Bad idea

Grubhub is simply a bad idea I would rather call the restaurant and order my food than to go at grubhub app or website. Late delivery and unfriendly environment is what i experienced through grubhub app.

Stupid Company

GrubHub needs to get it together. If you're going to create a company like this, figure out how to do it right before promising people things. I've had nothing but trouble with them. I feel bad for their drivers and whoever else works for them. I give up on you guys.

They made me wait for 5 hours (6:30-11:30pm) for different reasons and then the restaurant I want to order food from was closed. I used a $12 referral code for that order which was canceled and at the end of the 5 hour wait, they gave me $15 free grub. So I ended up with no food, a bad headache (because of extremely late dinner, not kidding) and a $3 (net) discount for my next order. GrubHub is the $#*!ing worst!

Horrible Experience!

I will never use grubhub again. I ordered and printed my receipt. I went to the restaurant to pick up my order. They can't find it. So I mentioned it I ordered it through grubhub. First comment, restaurant worker said "Argh, we're getting intermittent problems receiving emails". So that already irritated them. They looked at the receipt. They asked if I have email proof I got something from grubhub. I never got one. I told them, I never received email from them. If they're having problems getting email from grubhub, they probably had the same issue sending email receipts. They tried calling grubhub. They service said there is a 10 minute wait. They're too busy to wait.

They won't honor the order as they don't know if I fabricate the receipt. Really?!? I was so pissed as I felt insulted after not getting my order. Called grubhub. It ook 15 minutes to get a refund. Never again!

Next time I order. I'll call the restaurant. If grubhub can't send as simple as sending emails out, then it's a crappy system!

Worst service ever

All the way out in Texas from California. Ordered food to be delivered and shortly after they received my money I was sent a text saying "the company you selected (the one they said delivered) doesn't have any drivers available, can you pick up your order"

How smart do you have to be to have somewhat of an idea what your restaurants delivery times are. Guy calls off work and I get screwed. NEVER USING THIS AGAIN... Oh yea and my money will be returned in like 5 days -_-

Just one thing you need to know before using their service for your business.
Eat24 customer service for business owner is non existence.
You'll be put on hold for 30+ mins just to adjust and order. Same for their so call on-line live support and owner phone app.

Per my conversation this evening with a "manager" I am relaying in writing my great dissatisfaction with your product. I have filed a report with the better business bureau, attorney general's office, and the greater public in any way I can. It took an hour to even let me know my order was canceled. My funds are not being returned for 3-5 day which means they are not available for me to use to get the food you did not produce. As I shared with your manager, I made sure the restaurant I chose delivered to my home. Your site said it did to the end that a delivery fee was included. I DOUBLE CHECKED THIS. I placed my order and received the message that the order had been received. I received a time of delivery. An hour later, after waiting for food to arrive, I received a phone call from a very undertrained employee who made sure I knew it wasn't her fault or he problem I asked to speak to manger who blamed it on HIS customer the restaurant. I will be sharing my communications with them as well so they know how they have been represented by your product. You need to reconsider taking people's money before the product is delivered so that if there was a problem they would not be inconvenienced by not being able to use the funds they identified for their food purchase. This is a terrible practice. I was told "we are not a bank" and "the restaurant changed the delivery boundaries". Neither of those excuses got me food this evening. I will be sharing this experience far and wide and have asked for an investigation through the BBB and AG's office.

I ordered my food at 350 pm and grub joke hub said food by 505 -515 pm no food called the restaurant and they never got the order called customer service at grub hub got a rude nasty $#*! and said it wasn't there fault there was a glitch In the system I said I'm done with them and wanted to get compensation or a refund she offered 10.00 coupon for my next order we'll take the 10.00 coupon and shove it your $#*!! What a piece of sh*t company! NEVER AGAIN!

Never again

This isn't a repeat of other reviews. It's just another 1 star because I can't give a zero. We ordered dinner at 6:30 and called at 9 PM because we never heard from them. After much confusion, the lady said it would be another 45 minutes. We canceled. I guess we'll find out whether the charge to our credit card is canceled.
