Gave a $6 tip requested that it was delivered to me since I have spinal stenosis and balance issues so bending over is painful as well as scary. Driver dropped my food so hard I heard it inside my house. I will never use this service again. Paid 20 for my food and 13 for the poor service.

Yelp linked me to Grubhub to order food online at a local restaurant for pickup. I tried 3X to place my order and each time I got the message "Oooops! Something went wrong. Please try again." After 3 tries I gave up and called the restaurant to place my order. After I had picked up my food an paid the restaurant I got an email from Grubhub saying my order had gone through and was charged a second time. I called them and explained the situation and they said they couldn't give me a credit back on my card. I asked them to call the restaurant and work it out with them but they claimed they couldn't get through to them. I called the same number and got right through to the restaurant and fortunately they agreed to credit my card for the amount I paid them directly. I will NEVER knowingly use Grubhub again. Terrible experience and they may NO effort to resolve the problem.
Absolute worst food ordering experience of my life ordered McDonald's fast food at 8 AM and at 12 PM still haven't received the order was lied to 3 times by their customer service and so called supervisors which are not because they're answering through an automated foreign service this app is absolutely garbage I would recommend no one uses it and we should all be trying to get a class action lawsuit against them for breach of service because they are totally against taking care of their customers they completely lie to you to get you off the phone and the food never shows up and when you try to ask for a corporate number to call they all tell you they are as hot as you can talk completely unacceptable
My account got hacked recently, and even though they were able to answer my phone call and cancel the false order and remove my card information, when it came to follow up on the process, as well as deleting my account afterwards, they were IMPOSSIBLE to reach! I'm still waiting on them to respond, but my emails keep timing out to them when the week prior they were delivering just fine. As soon as I get my account deleted, I'm never using grubhub again!
I place a $64 order they took the money and at the same time canceled the order. I spoke with several people and not one of them could provide a reason as to why they canceled. I even asked for the money to be credited to my account. I was then told they couldn't provide corporate number. But yet Google can this company is the worst worst I would rather deal with covid and flu a then ever use this company again.
This is the third time that GrubHub hasn't been able to deliver my food. They keep changing the delivery time and after 2 hours, they cancel the order.
Grubhub will always blame the restaurant even when it their inability to deliver. It was a good service but has lost its ability for accuracy and delivering on time. Too bad but luckily there are plenty of other services that can provide the same service, on time, and accurately!
A typical $43.00 order was $78 with tip(not complaining about the tip at all). I totally understand marking up the items to make money its a business, but almost double is nuts.not my 1st time but definitely my last time. Should be a standard % not mark up someone else's menus, then tack on a % your not creating anything, without the restaurant or your driver you would have nothing, delivery's existed before you grub hub. Restaurants should just mark it up a little on there own for delivery, I would definitely pay more for the convenience, the driver and restaurant would make more and be able to control the quality of there own food. Maybe just offer your own app.(restaurant) I did and it was pretty easy to do
9 times out of ten either a item is missing from the order or the order has the wrong item and I have to call up for a refund. Alot of times the order is running very late, and several times they cancel my order and have to refund me then give me a credit on my next order for the inconvenience. Very unreliable company.
After confirming, a week in advance, that they could deliver a special Christmas eve dinner for our elderly parents (89 and 95), Grubhub canceled our order without providing any explanation. Their notification arrived less than four hours before the meal was supposed to be delivered. Inexcusable!
OK 2nd time now in 3 months, from two different places in which I'm missing items. The restaurant says the driver took it. No one is helping me other than to credit the item- guess no dinner tonight. These guys are terrible and what's worse, is the customer service call I hung up with is terrible and they wouldn't send out another driver.
App doesn't work & crickets with no replies. My account orders doesn't go through and keep telling me to reset
Get your address wrong 1/10 deliveries so get ready to pay for your order twice. Drivers cant follow instructions. Get refunded 1/3 even if you're missing 2/3 of your order.
I'm wondering how they managed to find the oldest, toughest chicken in the processing plant. It was supposed to be a chicken breast, but the majority of it was nothing big gristle! I'm STILL hungry!
Do not use this company! They cut corners to save money and cheat their drivers! I drove 16 miles round trip to pick up an order and the restaurant was closed. I provided the necessary info (picture of store hours from restaurant door) and canceled the order in the driver app. They are supposed to compensate me for my time and mileage, but refused. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THAT! (they have paid me in the past for this exact same situation). F*CK this company! Use UberEats instead! They're better!
Driver was running late with ice cream from carvel and texts me that he can't find my building. I send the driver direction and try to call him. He doesn't answer the phone so I can explain where my building is, he then leaves my food in another building and tells me to "go for it" mind you those building numbers don't even exist. His Name is Wilson and he has no picture. See texts below.
I have purchased food delivery with GrubHub on several occasions. Two of the times my food has been an hour late and cold. I do not recommend this service.
So basically the driver was saying "F**K YOU NI**A" to me, and he was also trying to hurt me and my friends, we just wanted food, man.
Again this new driver drops my food on the driveway and leaves. A business model that reaps.profits without any responsibility is not long for this world.
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.

Answer: Yes, it is normal. Original delivery times are almost never met. No drivers, Lost Drivers, Poorly trained or untrained drivers.
Answer: LOL... no kidding right! How can places take 2 hours to get food to you and not necessarily at a peak time. Good luck! Hope you were able to cancel it, but wonder if it showed up in the mean time. For this reason I no longer use a card but pay cash when I get the food. Hope you've managed to eat something by now.

Answer: Answer: Grub Hub does suck big time. No real answer. If you like cold food, delivered late and an "oh well" customer service attitude, Grub Hub is the company you should use.
Answer: They just don't care. Company motto must be "customer comes last". They simply trying to salvage whatever market share they can before they get bought out by a superior service that actually cares about customers.
