We waited 2 hours for our food. When we finally received it, two items were wrong and one item missing. I called grubhub customer service and they were not helpful. Ronald told me to call the restaurant myself and try to get a refund for the missing item and the two incorrect items. I told him I ordered thru grubhub and not the restaurant. I paid grubhub $6.99 for their service. He refused to correct my total and told me again to call the restaurant. I am in shock at the stupidity of their customer service representatives. What a joke this service is, beware, go online and read reviews before you use this service.
It is ridiculous the reviews online. I do agree GH could do better with timing but to blame the driver for food being wrong is unacceptable. All the driver does is transport the order NOTHING ELSE. That is between you and the restaurant. Grow up and take responsibility for your own food issues with the restaurants. Drivers are only required to make a count of all the items NOT dig threw trays and boxes confirming accuracy. That's between you and your restaurant of choice. Next time call and confirm your orders. Blaming drivers. Disgusting.
We ordered from Buffalo Wild Wings in Albuquerque, NM. We placed an order for 1 order of Chicken tenders and 1 order of a medium TRADITIONAL wings. The driver showed up and we realized after she left that the traditional wing was actually boneless. I called customer service and explained the situation. I was told that I could either go pick up my correct order or another driver would be able to bring the order in an hour or so. We agreed to have the driver bring the order. 2 hrs later and no food delivery I called customer service again only to be told that I would have to replace the order online and they would refund the delivery fee($7.00). I wouldn't except that so the lady I was speaking with hung up on me. I called back again and the lady I spoke with this time told me that everything I was told I the two previous calls was false and that she could only refund the delivery fee and refund me for my original purchase of the TRADITIONAL WINGS. At this point I'm still waiting for the my wings that were promised by the First Lady I spoke with. I don't understand how it's the customers fault that the delivery driver didn't check the order before leaving the restaurant. We should have been refunded the delivery fee and the price of the entree and also they should've redlivered the correct entree at no charge. NEVER AGAIN. These food delivery companies don't train employees and it does the restaurants themselves a dis service when the blame falls on them. I've worked in this industry for decades and I will never use a service like this.
I used their service until they spoke out with political partisanship. Never again. There are other services like Skip the Dishes that provide the same thing and don't succumb to politics. Look it up and make your own judgment.
Worst. Service. Ever. Got an email saying my food was prepared, and that it would take about 60-75 mins for delivery. Waited 1 hour and twenty mins for food, and then called the number it told me to call in the email if I was having a problem with delivery. Waited another twenty mins, most of the time on hold, for them to tell me that my food had not yet been made and it would take another hour to arrive. Never, ever again. Wish I could give negative stars.
I used grubhub to order from a restaurant i frequent often less than five miles away. It first said they would be here at 12:30, then it updated to 1:09, and then again to 1:30. I contacted customer service (because the restaurant is super fast and I know it wasn't them) and all she could say after 5 minutes on the phone..."please allow your drive an additional 20 minutes to arrive". I asked what happened and she said, "will will issue some free grub on us, have a great evening!'. I still haven't received my food but I highly doubt it will be warm at this point. Don't use them if your are hungry or planning around meetings!
They offer an "automatic discount" that they do not apply then charge a fortune for food that should ordinarily be inexpensive. And, it takes forever. I am not typically one to complain, but this was a joke and I ended up paying $22 for a $6 sandwich and chips. I will never use them again.
Second time I have given this service a chance. Both times it took over 3 hours to deliver the order from a sub shop less than 10 minutes from where it needed to be delivered to. Received emails from the service to review if the food was as ordered even though I did not even have the food for another hour. Deplorable service sorry. There is no reason to 3 hours and 15 minutes to pick up and deliver something at 4pm on a Tuesday. The driver could have lived in another state and arrived sooner. Stay away
I'm lazy AF, hate cooking, hate cleaning even more. That being said, I love GrubHub! I've ordered as frequently as twice a week for years (sometimes LESS, but lets be real.) I'm perplexed at all these reviews that are so angry at Grubhub, most of them are funny to me. "The restaurant was two minutes walking distance, and it took 5000 hours for delivery!" LOL, walk, bro. I haven't had a single bad experience with grubhub. In fact, any time there's been an issue, the restaurant has called me personally to inform me of said issue (one time I ordered a chocolate milk and they were out of said product, calling to inform me they were refunding the cost of the drink). I'm not implying Grubhub doesn't have its issues, or that it didn't screw people over. But its frustrating that people only choose to leave reviews when they've had a negative experience with a concept/product/service that they've used successfully countless times before. If you use a product 20 times, and 19 times it's been great, is it fair to ONLY leave your review for the one time (5%, lol@ math) that it failed you?
So cheers to you, Grubhub, for sometimes being early, sometimes being late, but allowing delivery to places that I otherwise wouldn't have access to. Cheers to engaging in a thankless business where people $#*! about charges that are presented to them before they agree to pay! CHEERS to dealing with the $#*!ty public. 5 Stars.
First order with them. Now 50 minutes late and still no news from the restaurant or anybody. Their customer service will only reply to you every 3-4 minutes. Will never order from them again.
On a repeated basis, I would order something from Grubhub to be delivered, pay for it, then receive an email that it is being prepared... then, a few minutes later, I would get an email saying that it was cancelled! Yes, each time that it happens, I get a promo code of $5 to use for a future order. I finally called, after repeated instances of this over time to see what was going on--I found out that the reason it was cancelled was due to the fact that there is no available driver! Why not indicate on the website, after I put in my address, that no service is available?
My driver arrived with one small bag and I knew right away that this was not my complete order. I looked inside and sure enough, it was only half of a very large order. I let him know right away and he explained (not so nicely) that it was against policy to drive back to the restaurant. I called customer service and sure enough, that IS their policy! The first person I spoke with over the phone insisted that *I* call the restaurant and go pick up the order myself! I hung up and called the next person and she also said their policy is to NOT check the bags to make sure an order is complete before leaving the restaurant, and they do NOT ever go back to re-deliver... but that if I really needed my order, that I can call the restaurant and go pick it up myself. Um... isn't that why I just paid you a whole bunch of money to deliver it? Not only will they NOT refund you, they refuse to refund the delivery charge! Bad, bad business practice. Oh, but wait, they sent me a $5 off my next order of $20 or more coupon! Never again.
They forgot my drink. The fries were soggy and cold. The burger bun was totally soggy from being in the bag for too long and was luke warm. The lettuce on the burger was cooked. It had steamed in the bag until it totally wilted. Red Robin is within walking distance of my house. It shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to drive here! Ten tops! When i opened a chat to inquire about the delay they offered $10 off my next order. UMMM we had two burgers and fries etc... so $10 off is nothing! $10 off an order I will never again place doesn't fix cold ruined dinner served at 8:30 pm. Do yourself a favor and delete the app.
By far the WORSE decision ever. My food came 3 HOURS after I ordered it and 2 HOURS after the expected delivery time. Customer service was of no help and kept telling me there was an issue with my order that caused it to not be placed. Not only was the order late, but it was WRONG. My brother can't eat bacon because of dietary reasons and he ordered sliders and I noted for there to be no bacon and we received a plate with so much bacon, that it was literally spilling out the burgers. There goes 12 dollars down the drain. Never Again.
Failed to deliver anything and did not have the ability to correct orders. Waited nearly 2 hrs to find out they couldn't even get the order right. Don't use this. It's is a complete and utter joke.
Absolutely horrible service. I ordered from a restaurant that is less than 3 miles from my house and I placed the order at 5:25. At 6:40, the order was still not delivered. Was supposed to be delivered between 605 and 615 according to the text and email. When I hadn't received it by 640, I called to tell them that I might as well cancel if I'm not going to receive my food since it had been almost an hour and a half and I still had not received my food. The representative named Asia did not even offer an apology or a solution, she placed me on hold for over five minutes and then disconnected me and I received a text that my order was canceled. This was the first time I have ever used Grubhub and it will certainly be the last time too.
I used this piece of $#*! app to place TWO $#*!en orders, I got charged for the food AND they gave a useless confirmation code but none of the the restaurants received any thing... went to pick up my stuff but wasn't ready.
The restaurant I ordered from (Tacos Arandas) cancelled my order because they didn't have any drivers. They sent a text message which I didn't receive until after my food was supposed to arrive. Because the order was cancelled, Grubhub won't let me write a review of the restaurant.
I love the food but they take a VERY long time to bring your food, they never give tissue, forks, or anything and they always forget something & today I ordered chicken tenders, and called and asked for honey mustard the lady on the phone is going to say it's $1.25 extra And she had an attitude, I don't understand if I pay for something I want it, I paid for 2 sprite sodas and only got one If you want to order from here, keep in mind it will take anywhere from and hour and a half to 2 hours!
GrubHub was linked to fraud from my PayPal account. They phished for my identity using both my first and last name. Then they authorized autodraft to come out monthly of my account. I spoke with paypal and they said it has been happening to many many people. STAY AWAY from GRUBHUB!
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.

Answer: Yes, it is normal. Original delivery times are almost never met. No drivers, Lost Drivers, Poorly trained or untrained drivers.
Answer: LOL... no kidding right! How can places take 2 hours to get food to you and not necessarily at a peak time. Good luck! Hope you were able to cancel it, but wonder if it showed up in the mean time. For this reason I no longer use a card but pay cash when I get the food. Hope you've managed to eat something by now.

Answer: They just don't care. Company motto must be "customer comes last". They simply trying to salvage whatever market share they can before they get bought out by a superior service that actually cares about customers.
