Delivery took 2 hours

GrubHub delivery from Alibaba took two hours and the food was soggy and cold. The poor ratings are well-deserved.

After waiting over an hour for nothing more than soup and salad, the driver NEVER SET FOOT out of his car. Instead, he called my phone(mind you my delivery instructions specifically state to RING BELL 1B) which for whatever reason didn't ring. The phone did buzz, but it was a text saying we are trying to deliver your order and can't reach you. I then go outside, see a car with hazards on and I'm yelling like an idiot from my doorway because I thought he would be outside the door. Instead, the car pulls away. Mind you, there is a very bright light over my door and giant letters with the address and a bell CLEARLY LABELED. It is a clear night, no rain and NO REASON WHATSOEVER to stay in your car instead of getting out and LOOKING with little effort for the address. What's worse than this? A 10 minute wait for GrubHubs supposedly GREAT customer service over the phone only to have someone answer and HANG UP. People, get a clue, order from the restaurant and skip this horrible service or USE ANOTHER SERVICE.

They're just bad.

This delivery service is just bad. They regularly deliver cold food or no food. Their "customer service" is some call center outside of Chicago, IL which is great if you live in IL but not so great for those of us in OR or WA. I probably shouldn't bash on them too much for having a call center in Chicago, they could've set it up in Bangladesh, India, or some other Third World bunghole.

But, if you call their "customer service" they don't particularly care that you're a customer and have no wish to be of service.

Why are they bad? Let's count them off.

1) They deliver cold food OFTEN,
2) The customer service line doesn't give a crap, and
3) They actually have the nerve to include a tip UP FRONT.

Really, I'm supposed to tip you just because? How about I tip you if you do a good job? How about that for a tipping paradigm? Let's tip people who have earned it and see if that works out.

I think GrubHub was invented by a millenial...

Worst idea

They canceled my order after 2 hours. I swear if there were zero star, I would give it to them. Why making me wait then say oh sorry we dont know what happened And their customer service take forever to answer

Ordered food at 7:50pm estimated delivery of 8:40pm which was long for a Denny's a mile away. Food arrived at 9:45pm an hour later than estimate. Food was ice cold. Found out after driver sped off I was missing one of my appetizers from the order. Reached out to customer service and they offered a $10 coupon for my next order. As if I would use this service again...

Ordered lunch at 12:33. Website says "order confirmed" at 12:56 (already going downhill). After 2:00 when food is still not here, I contact Grubhub. Oh, gee, something wrong with the system. The restaurant is just now preparing your food. I can give you a coupon for $10 off your next order? Wow, that's swell, considering I'll never order again. Should have read all these reviews first. What a nightmare.

I order food through grubhub and the food never arrived even though the website said it was delivered. I call them and they tell me the driver knocked on the door. Complete crap! Not once did anyone knock on the door, I was constantly checking outside the window to see if they arrived and nobody came to my apartment and knocked on the door. I asked for a refund and not only do I have to wait for a few days for them to refund my $21, I'm left with no food and have to wait for them to refund my money. They either delivered to the wrong address or the driver never showed maybe because he was pissed I didn't leave a tip but I was using a visa gift card that only had $21.35 left and could not leave a tip. Either way I AM NEVER ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN.

I ordered food. It didn't arrive. I called to ask about it. They said the driver left it at the front desk of my hotel. I went to look, it was on the counter and I saw no less than 3 people look inside to see what it was. #nomoregrubhub

Terrible Service

Grubhub absolutely sucks when it comes to delivery! Either the food is extremely late getting to you or they won't show at all. You call customer service and all they offer you is a sorry! You have to ask for a refund. You'll be better off going to pick up the food you want yourself.

Two times in a row Grubhub order was taking forever only to find out from the restaurant that Grubhub had not sent a driver... Had to cancel both orders. Our hot sandwiches were sitting at the restaurant for over 30 mins. I have deleted their app from every phone I can get my hands on now... And I wake up to this email giving me a $5 credit... Really? $5! $5 does not even come close to making up for my family starving and waiting over an hour to still get no dinner! We have children! GrubHub needs to close their doors. Even the restaurant said not to use GrubHub, They said Postmates is way more reliable. DO NO USE GRUBHUB IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO EAT!

Are you serious?

Ordered my food. It arrived 1 hour late. Food was cold and soggy. I was missing a meal. I called Grub Hub, they proceeded to explain they can not send a driver to pick up the food that was not in my bag even though I paid for it already. They emailed me a code and told me I had to reorder the missing food and to use the code so I didn't have to pay for the food again. When I went to reorder the price of the food was $0 like promised, HOWEVER, I was being charged another GRUB HUB DELIVERY FEE! Why did their driver not check the order before leaving the restaurant? I will eat the cost of my missing lunch. I will not pay them again to deliver food that should have been delivered in the first place!

Ordered dinner thru Grubhub.
Aside from the delivery arriving an hour late with no alert nor courtesy phone call from the restaurant manager, not only was the delivery plastic bag swimming in sauce from the order, as they failed to wrap each container in plastic, the food was, at best, mediocre. Grubhub asked for specifics. Asked for the Caesar salad dressing to be on the side... it arrived swimming in dressing - completely inedible. And Carbonara without garlic... really?... had to season it myself. And I was one of seven deliveries according to the delivery man so by the time the delivery arrived, the pasta was beyond congealed. I won't be ordering from there again nor would I bother to try dining there either.

Grubhub stole my credit card information when I placed an order with them in Fort Lauderdale. They denied it although the card was only used for that one transaction in six months. The restaurant never had the info nor the driver. It was the administrator of the site. They still denied it. NEVER AGAIN!

If I could give GrubHub no stars, I would. Tonight isn't the first time I've waited for food that never arrived--sometimes after waiting for longer than an hour past the delivery time! Since Delivered Dish got sold to GrubHub, the service has declined to terrible. Their customer service rep just said they sent me coupon for a free delivery, so they must know they're in trouble. The problem is... if I use the coupon, will any food ever actually arrive?!

I ordered food. The restaurant took it to the wrong address. Eat24 calls me and says the restaurant wants to charge an extra delivery fee, and "do I still want the food?". Nope. Uninstall

No more grub hub.

Placed an order, waiting over an hour for delivery. Called the restaurant to see if it had been picked up and was told it had been canceled 45 minutes earlier. I didn't cancel it, Grub Hub did without any notification. I know not to use them now.

I tried Grub Hub for the first time and will never use them again. The restaurant cancelled my order because they did not have one of the items... said they had texted me which I did not get... my gripe is with Grubhub! I finally got the restaurant to say they would put my order together and claimed they had called Grubhub to come back. But I called Grub hub and they were adament. They would not go back and noone I talked to was sympathetic. I WILL NEVER USE GRUBHUB AGAIN!
The restaurant suggested I use Uber next time... I will do that.

Don't use Grub Hub!

Just ordered from Grub Hub for the first time. It was delivered on time (by a very rude driver). When we contacted Grub Hub via chat, it took some time for them to respond but basically said they would just refund us for the food that wasn't delivered. No offer to deliver what they missed. Won't even refund the delivery fee and 20% tip!
