TWICE in a row I was shorted items in my order from GrubHub restaurants. GrubHub offered me a FREE DISCOUNT. It is NOT a FREE discount if I have already paid for a menu item + tax + gratuity on FOOD I DID NOT RECEIVE! GrubHub was simply trying to scam me, as did the restaurant. I already PAID for food I did not receive... a discount on my next order is NOT a discount if I ALREADY PAID FOR IT. Give me my money back for dinners I paid for and did NOT receive! GrubHub does NOT care about the customer.

This app/company is a joke. Had order with them 2 times and both I had problems. First one they delivered my food after 45 minutes of the first time it was given (they kept updated for later and later), and the second time, I scheduled a pick up for 2 hours later, and when I got to the restaurant, they had just received my order. GrubHub says "sometimes we have glitches online". Sometimes? I won't order anymore and suggest everyone to use a different food app.

Messed my order up again
September 7, 2017

I just ordered through Grub Hub again and this time it wasn't late, they just didn't place my order but charged me for the food. On hold, basically this service SUCKS and I will not use it again, suggest you don't either if you want to eat. How are they staying in business?

Delivery driver claimed to have attempted to make a delivery, he said the business looked closed. We are located in a building with several other businesses with a big sign that says our hours and to knock. Come to find out, the driver's for Grub Hub get to keep the food if it's not delivered! So why would they put forth effort to locate your business?

After this I called to get a refund, they told me they would email me with the coupon codes. Never received email. Called again to just refund my card and say forget it, they then said only credits can be issues since we missed the delivery... this delivery service ( I use that term loosely) is a joke! If we're going to be screwed over, we at least want to feel it! We'll stick with Bite Squad from now on.

Worst, service, ever...

Negative stars
Eat24 is hands down the worst food delivery outfit I have come across. Now going on 2+hours waiting on my order. The only confidence I have that it will arrive is that the driver called me directly asking for directions. Avoid these guys and sure as day never buy any stock options in this company. Worst service ever

Waste of time

I waited over 2.5 hours and still did not receive my food, finally called and canceled the order. This was not a fluke, since it happened 3 times in a row within a few weeks. This company will go belly-up very soon.

Ordered today online at Eat24Hours for a discount of $5 at a local restaurant and today which is Labor day assuming it was open since it allowed us to order and pay. Once getting to the restaurant, it was CLOSED. Came home and called the the customer support line and a rude representative accused me of cancelling and would have to wait 7-10 days for a refund. Asked to speak to her manager and Sable answered and was just as rude as the previous rep. I told her I will give a review and she says "Be my guest"... Unreal! There is absolutely no checks in their website to know whether the restaurant was even open today. Why take my order then... 0 Stars!

TBH, i only use yelp24 if and only if im craving for something that isnt on ubereats, amazon, grubhub, etc. ---Northern VA

1st, it takes 1.5-2hours + for the food and it almost ALWAYS comes cold
2nd, high minimum orders, some are $75 and more
3rd, delivery fee (ok thats fine), convenience fee (what is this?), and tip
And finally, it's almost always... it's missing something.

Also, be ware that delivery times change CONSTANTLY, it'll tell you at beginning that it will take 1hr or so, and if you refresh later on, it will give you a different time.

However. If you're lucky. And found a restaurant that does their own delivery. It's generally faster. And better service. Otherwise when it's third party etc. be careful.

We waited 2 hours for our food, and the order said it was delivered. When we called customer service they said the driver never got the order, yet it was marked as delivered. Don't wast your time with this company.

You will be charged for things you didn't agree to. You can complete your order and then suddenly get another charge on your credit card for a higher price, even though you didn't have any special requests, or ask for any changes to menu items. They will just quote and charge you one price, and then make more charges on your credit card afterward!

Delivery fees are ALWAYS misleading. They say one thing in the menu, then when you order the delivery charges can be $5-$7 more than quoted. They don't even have the contact information for all their restaurants, so if the restaurant brings you the wrong food by mistake, they will not be able to fix the problem.

When you try to chat online with customer service, customer service does not respond. When you try to call in, you will probably be on hold for more than 5 minutes. This is the worst service ever! 2 bad experiences, 2 days in a row! That is enough for me to go back to using eat24.com. Eat24 will always fix mistakes, answer chats, answer the phone, and they give weekly coupons, never quote one price and then charge you more, and their delivery fees are always exactly as quoted in the menu.

WORST experience of my life. Literally. I've never been so disappointed and repulsed by someone's food or customer service and I've been in the restaurant industry for over 10 years. Here's the short version... ordered online, food came 1.5 hours later, food was cold and we thought that one of our orders wasnt included so I called the restaurant. The "manager" answered and after the first 2 minutes gave me an attitude. She refused to apologize for the quality of her food, which makes me believe that they just have extremely low standards. Moral of the story is, it's difficult to determine which was worse- the food or the customer service. Do not EVER go here!

I was disrespected by one of their restaurants and this stupid $#*! Amy is telling me she can't give me a full refund because they gave me a refund for my missing item! White people is so stupid if I ever meet her I'll make sure I'll beat her $#*!! I've had enough, every time I order it's always something they are unprofessional and taking people money and think they can get away with it! I'm going through my bank to get my money back. She a manager and the $#*! is so unprofessional! Do not eat from them!

Absolutely pathetic!

I ordered from this site many times, even after they screwed up. I was new to on; line delivery, and I was trying to be nice, and give them a chance to get their act together. But they never did! Each time, they got worse and worse, until I finally gave up on them. Delivery was dog slow nearly every time. The delivery people didn't speak English very well, and they would argue with you when you complained. That didn't even do any good, because you couldn't understand half of what they were saying! The first few times, the driver got lost, and I had to go online to a chat agent to correct the situation. That even took time, because they were always busy with other customers. I don't know who runs this company, but someone there needs a swift kick in the rear end! These people are awful!

I downloaded the app yesterday and had a horrible experience from the start. The restaurant on their app stops delivery at 6:00 pm (grubhub had no idea and apparently offers anyone with a pulse for delivery on their app) I ordered my dinner at 7:07 pm and received an email confirmation stating that I'd receive my food between 8:00-8:15. When I called the resterauramt at 8:30 they didn't answer because they were closed! Neither the restaurant nor grubhub bothered to give me a courtesy call and let me know I was never going to receive the food. I spoke to 2 employees at grubhub that would not allow me to speak to a supervisor. They BOTH informed me that they have no control over the resteaurants grubhub endorses on their website and cannot be held liable for the service received. I said "really, so anyone at all can log in, create an account and you would offer their services on YOUR app? So if I bake 10 dozen cookies tomorrow and logged on to your app and created an account offering to deliver them, you would just add me, no questions asked? The CSR laughed and said "yes they would". Their own employees admitted their so called service is completely redundant. Wow. I wouldn't recommend grubhub to an enemy. They are a rinky dink operation that created an app!

Less than one star

I wish I had read these before I ordered - they are disgusting. If you order from Grubhub - be sure you understand you may or may not get your order - they are clueless. I also wouldn't trust that the food is fresh - will never order through them again.

My restaurant use their delivery service and it is horrible, never on time at least 1/2 an hour late and if a customer didn't leave a tip it will take dispatch an extra hour to find a driver, they charge 30% for bad service something need to change or UBEREATS will reap all the benefits. I will no longer use them.

Bad customer service only refunded food to reorder what they messed up on. More delivery feed and tip and tax just to get the correct items. Never again!

Ordered out food and the app said it would be ready in 40 minutes. Kept checking and the time got pushed back by over an hour. Our food was ready 20 minutes after ordering and it sat therefkr over a hour and a half until the restaurant spoke to us saying it's still there. We had to pick it up ourselves. Grub hub gave us a credit for their company that will never get used and we had to eat old food. Customer service was on existent and this was horroble. First and last time of using this inconvenient company.
