Horrible.

Waited 1.5 hours for food to be delivered and it never was. After contacting Grub Hub the food wasn't even on the way, so I had the order cancelled. I read some reviews that said delivery takes forever like up to two hours and still placed my order. Now I will take reviews more seriously. Don't waste your time folks.

We place an order through Grub Hub and after more than an hour late and many phone calls to the restaurant we learned that the food was ready a half hour before but the Grub Hub driver hadn't shown up and never did. When we called Grub Hub to find out what was going on they HUNG UP on us. In the end we went and picked up our own food at the restaurant. If I owned a restaurant I'd hire my own drivers and FIRE Grub Hub. We will NEVER order through Grub Hub again after this experience. It's true: it doesn't get any worse than this!

WASTE OF MONEY

So my first use of grub hub was about 2 years ago and my food took over two hours to get to my location and the food was cold by then and not worth the money. So giving this food delivery site another chance about 4 months after the first time I ordered from Grub Hub I tried again. Once again it took forever to get food that arrived warm this time but since it took so long I did not give the driver a tip, and he was upset. So with me wanting to give this site a third chance I tried again a few months ago. And once again I was let down by very expensive prices to deliver food that shows up way late and barley warm. So Im officially done with Grub Hub, have them three chances and that was enough.

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY

After waiting for my food for about an hour, I checked for the email that Yelp told me I would receive. I never got any emails. So I clicked the button that said to contact Eat24 about my order. Chatted with a customer service person who said there was no order listed under my email or phone number. She told me I should place the order again. However, I checked my credit card and already had the order pending. She assured me it would be dropped, but I didn't trust that. I asked why I wasn't notified that something went wrong with the order. She just kept saying that the order never came through so they did not know about it (yet they were able to charge my card) and TWICE she blamed me for the order not processing. Told me that while I was placing the order, something didn't connect and that I might have clicked the back button while it was processing. I still had the "Thank you for your order" page up on Yelp. I KNOW I did not do anything to mess up the order. I was very upset and will never use this company again.

Grubhub

Being inside a grocery store, you'd think they'd have better quality food. I ordered some delivery through grubhub, excited to be able to get sushi delivered to my door. The rice was dry and crumbling off the sushi rolls, it was clearly not sushi rice, as well as the fish quality was questionable. Hoping I don't get ill.

Last night I ordered a pizza from a Grubhub restaurant. The site indicated a $1.99 delivery fee and I was charged accordingly. The pizza was cold, but that's another story. Today I receive a notice that they are going to charge me an additional $4.00 for delivery! I spoke with Grubhub on the phone and they were totally unable or unwilling to help me, even after they reviewed my receipt. I will NEVER use Grubhub again.

I ordered the first time from GrubHub and the order was 40 mins late. Following week tried once again same restaurant placed order at 6:21pm... 2 1/2 hours later after discussing several times with GrubHub on an ETA a driver was finally dispatched only to receive a call back that they would have to cancel my order now because the restaurant was no longer open. I suppose Im a "glutten" for punishement because I used their services one more time and I placed my order@ 3:22pm and it stated it would be on its way by 4:07 est. And now I just received a call stating it will arrive "around" 5:30pm the restaurant actually took pitty on me and offered to bring it to me because I keep getting screwed. I talked to a manager at GrubHub by the name of Carolyn who had no cares in the world what so ever. You could feel her attitude in her tone as if I was bothering her. She offered me $10.00 grub cash... on a 36.00 order (awwww keep it clearly Grub needs it more) Never again will I use this service... waste of time and money. Poor customer care.

I have a similar experience 3 times in a row. I don't understand, they use to be so good. Local restaurants are also very upset with them in the Tempe, AZ are and are recommending doordash. Will try that next. Tonight I called the restaurant each time before I called GrubHub and confirmed no driver. Two hours after I placed my order, I finally drove and got my meal. Still beat the last update from GrugHub. Then they showed the meal was delivered on time in their update. Had to call them again just to get my $5.99 delivery fee back. Don't know if they will actually give me the credit, I haven't seen an update yet.

Ordered 3 times for company lunch. All three times, food arrived an hour late and cold. I received a text from grubhub half hour before scheduled delivery that the food was being prepared. Half hour AFTER scheduled delivery, I received a call that the food was being picked up and I received it an hour after I scheduled to receive it. Additionally, driver asked me to come out to the car to pick it up! Spend the extra dollar or two and order through a different organization.

Don't Use This

Ordered my first and last meal with GrubHub today. Didn't get my food but I was charged and they refuse to refund me. Basically what everyone else is saying. Please take our advice and stick to UberEats or regular delivery.

Poor service

I am posting this because of the HORRIBLE service I have received from Grubhub once again. I called 2 hours ago and placed an order for delivery. Before I placed the order I called the restaurant just to make sure they were available, open and able to get an order from Grubhub for delivery today as it is Thanksgiving. They stated they will be open and able to accept the order. So 2 hours nothing came and I had to contact Grubhub to inquire as to where my order was.

So the agent went into his computer and stated the restaurant was closed. That is a lie. He tried to say that is why the food never came. Even if that was true they should have called me and told me that the restaurant was not going to be able to fill my order and that I should try something else. If I had not called them they would never have contacted me via email, call or text.

Instead I got an email and text stating that my order should arrive in about 1 hour. So just to make sure I called the restaurant after getting off the phone with their agent and the restaurant confirmed that the order could have been placed with no problem and been delivered.

This is not the first time Grubhub has dropped the ball with me or other people as you can see by the reviews about their company. The last time I used them the same thing happened and I swore I would never use them again. That was a long time ago so I decided to give them 1 more try. What a mistake that was! Never ever again will use them for any type of order and I suggest that no one ever uses them either or you may have the same crappy service I have had.

I used them many times because I didn't have another choice and sometimes they did delivered the food. But most of the times they delivered the food an hour or 2 hours later. I counted to 10 and tried patiently not to argue with them, but it seems impossible. They drop the ball so bad and so many times that it gets to a point that it seems like a hidden camera TV Show, Playing with your head to get you mad and then say, SURPRISE! We Prank you! Lol The bad news is that they are kinda parking you but for real, No Hidden Cameras thought. LOL
Every time they mess up They apologize and of course refund your money, but the time you waste with them is ridiculous.
Please stay away from this company if you don't want to be upset and wasting your time waiting for your food and then calling them to get your money back every time. I had more than 5 cases but the worse one was a delivery guy who took my food to the building next door and gave it to an stranger to hold it for me. When I Called the guy he said "I left it in the lobby of your building"
Me: "with whom?". Are you for real?
He says: "Yeah With somebody that was there"
I thought he was joking but he was for real lol, He then managed to come back after I told him he left the food at the wrong building and with somebody who obviously is not me and doesnt know me, to hold it for me?,
Oh Boyyy, He got my food away from the hands of the person he gave it to LOL, and then called me back telling me: " Hey I got your food back, don't worry nobody touched it"
I couldn't believe what he was saying, Well you know the end, of course i didnt take the food, Restaurant and eat24hours apologized like they always do and refunded my money. No Coupon, No Credit, Nothing. These guys are a joke, I still wonder how are they still in business.

I should open a company that does totally the opposite of what they do and how they run their business and I will definitely be way more successful than these Pranksters. Great Idea.

Placed an online order and waited for an hour and half only to NEVER hear from Eat24. Tried calling the restaurant directly to learn that they'd been closed for over 30 minutes. This food delivery business (I can't call it a service since OBVIOUSLY there was a lack of service or rather NO service) totally and completely SUCKS!

I will never use Grubhub again and I have cancelled my account with Grubhub. This is not my first bad experience with them but it will be my last. They refused to make a second delivery to fix the wrong order which was paid for and tipped on and totally disregarded the fact that I had a household of guest waiting for food. Worst delivery service ever! Don't use them!

This week I ordered from Houlihans in Lawrenceville, NJ and Wings to Go in Hamilton NJ. Both times an entree was forgotten. I contacted the restaurants but was redirected to call GrubHub who told me that they can remove the missing entree and credit it back with the approval from a manger from the restaurants which they both did. Then I had to reorder the item, incur an additional delivery charge, an additional TIP and wait another hour. I did not do this I just took the credit and sucked it up. It seems to me that the missing componenet here is that the delivery service is not responsible for the order and the restaurant is not responsible for the delivery so if a mistake is made, you are out of luck. I suggest that Grub Hub make their deilvery people responsible for double checking the order and then this won't happen. I will never use Grub Hub again as it is clearly a waste of my time and money. The restaurants both provide good food, no complaints there.

I was staying I had a hotel close by and thought I would order through GrubHub and I ordered from the treat restaurant a pizza and I added some fries with gravy because you need to do a minimum of $15 to get the discount on your first order.

About 15 minutes before my order was supposed to arrive I put my dogs away in a crate so they wouldnt bark when the guy came to the door. Sometimes people arrive early and I expected that might happen they gave a 10 minute window of the delivery time I waited and waited nobody ever showed up I had the dogs in their crate for over 40 minutes

Finally the guy called over a half hour late and I could barely understand his English. He was at the hotel walking around. That didnt make sense because its cold outside and why do you want to walk around with the food. When you want to take your car and drive to the room with the X ternal entrance?. He gave me the food and I thanked him he didnt apologize for being 30 minutes late I had no idea the food was cold once I was back in my room the pizza was freezing cold and the fries were cold too and fries with gravy are gross when theyre cold.

He didnt give me any plates or anything like that so I cant heat up the pizza in my hotel room I dont think Ill ever order from them again
