WORST SERVICE
May 19, 2018

4 times in row I have had issues with my food NOT BEING DELIVERED. Support over the phone left me on hold for more than 22 minutes just to tell me they couldnt find a manager and they would try to assign another driver because the previous one couldnt be found. DO NOT USE GRUB HUB AT ALL. WORST. SERVICE. EVER.

Horrible Service

Horrible horrible horrible- do not use- will not take accountability for anything- will be on hold for like 4 hours and not talk to anyone- the ceo of this company needs to rethink the business model- so unhappy- used services for four to five years- will never again!

Placed an order. Never got a tracking. Started a chat - chat disconnected after 8 minutes. Someone did call to say Oh So Sorry - have to cancel order. I called back because they hung up after that. Then I spent - no joke - 35 minutes on the phone because they said they would refund me 15% of the coupon code I had used to place the original order with and give me a $5 code to use. Guess what - applied the $5 code but now they said they were so sorry - couldn't refund the 15%. They can't apply the code. REFUND is not same as applying a promo code. Lost almost an hour and still no food. WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!

Didn't receive 2 of the 3 things I asked for, they asked the restaurant for permission to give me a refund which the restaurant denied, saying they'd just deliver the items to me later. What?

They offered me a discount on a future order and I said no, so they wished me a good evening and ended the chat. Oh well; money well spent to know that I'll never be using their services again.

Never again!

Ordered $55.30 worth of food tonight from A restaurant and had grub hub deliver it. The order was placed at 6:50 pm and didn't get here until 8:35pm.

It was missing 2 complete dinners I ordered for my 2 young grand children. I called them and told them and was told to call the restaurant. I called the restaurant and they informed me to call grub hub back so I did and was told by grub hub to order the items I was missing again and they would refund the cost of the second order.

Well I wasn't refunded and did not get my second order I paid for because the driver refused to go get it. They cancelled my order and my grand children were left here waiting for food that was never coming. No one called to tell me the order was cancelled either!

I called the restaurant only to be told it was closed. I called grub hub back and was given a code for 25 dollars to use grub hub again! I want my money back! How do I get the money back? I have been on the phone with both places for hours now and it is 10:53pm.

No food and no money back, 2 very hungry sleepy kids and only given coupon codes to use grub hub again. I do not wish to do business with Grub hub ever again! I don't want the codes they have been giving me, I want my money back. They refuse to give it back. Even after 14 phone calls and emails, no satisfactory service.

Buyer beware! Most online order sites allow you an option to pay at pick-up. Since this site does not have that option, you have to pay at order time but there is no way to apply coupons that the restaurant issues to customers. So don't use this app. Just call your order in and pay at pick-up and apply coupons.

Horrible Service

I absolutely hate this service. It was a very rainy day and all my son wanted for his birthday was having food delivered and a movie day with his mom and we waited over 2 hours for our food to be delivered.

It is horrible.

Stole My Money

All I know is $37.19 was stolen out of my bank account. Grub Hub. The telephone number went to Mexico then I was transferred to Chicago? They say they will 'investigate'? They have all the info already! Nothing gets done. They took money out of my bank account. Theft and Fraud-Hub.

The only reason this deserves a 2 is because the customer service rep was kind enough to try to resolve the issue we had with the driver. My nursing team decided to order together for our friends birthday and our food didnt show up after and hour and a half from the order time. We called to check on our food order and the driver hung up on us, then we called back and she yelled and cursed us saying she couldnt find us or contact us and she wasnt coming back to deliver our food that she had already picked up from the restaurant. I can assure you we were polite and understanding and even offered to still tip her if she brought us our food, but she proceeded to curse and refuse to bring our food. So that lovely individual made out with $78 dollars worth of free food from Cancun. We are still waiting for our refund the customer service rep insured us we would get. They need a system to ensure the drivers are held accountable if things like this happened. I dont understand why someone in the customer service industry would curse a polite customer and keep their food. Im appalled. Ive never been talked to so dirty in my life.

They took my money but never placed my order. I found out when I called the restaurant. Then customer service was a long wait to get the order cancelled, which is weird because it was never placed, but still needed to get my money back. Card was charged, I hope the refund posts just as quickly.

Do not, I repeat do not use their delivery service. They are awful. I use them today and because the driver couldn't find me my order was cancelled. When I called customer service They apologized and gave me a credit of more than what I spent, only to force me to pay out of my pocket more money because I had to order more food than I needed. Just a total nightmare.

Well, I have just had my second worst experience ordering from Grub Hub. My first was a couple months ago when after 2 and a half hours I still did not receive my food. I called Moe's and was told their tablet was down and they never received my order. This time my delivery driver did not deliver my food because there was no parking on the street. The food was not even returned to the store. After multiple calls to Grub Hub who already had my money, they refunded $35.00 of my $35.68 order in the form of two promo emails. One for $25.00 and the second for $10.00 which that I could use on a future order stating that since the driver attempted deliver they could not refund my money. WHAT? So I attempted to place my order again and when I went to check out, Grub Hub would only allow me to use one of the two promo codes which caused me to pay even more money for my food. The restaurant called me upon receipt of my second order to ask if I received my food. Nope. I explained what happened and was informed that the driver never returned the food to them or let them know there was a problem with the delivery. I also had a issue with Grub Hub a couple of weeks ago when their driver called and stated there was no parking and I needed to come outside and down the block to get my food from their car.

Ordered food from a restaurant via Grubhub. Estimated time of arrival was about 35 minutes, but every time I refreshed it, the time rose. Eventually to over an hour. The restaurant was a 10 minute drive from where I lived. I contacted customer service and they said they never assigned a driver to pick it up. I asked to be transferred to a manager, they wouldn't do it. After an hour of talking to several representatives, they finally gave up and they said they would transfer me. Still never did, never even received a email to submit a complaint. I don't understand how this company is still operating even with this horrible customer service.

One word to describe this services... SUCKS! If you want to have lunch at noon then I recommend ordering at 9 am. They take forever! If you are lucky and they send the order to the restaurant. I ordered an hour and a half ago and still haven't received my food. Then i called the restaurant and they told that they never got any order from eat24! You guys SUCKS BIG TIME! People do yourself a favor and do not order from here!

WORST SERVICE!

Had an account with them to deliver for my restaurant. Drivers or rude, non professional looking and most can hardly speak English. I spoke with account advisor several times with no solution to the problems. Door Dash is a lot better, friendlier and drivers look professional. Also cheaoper to do business with and cheaper for customers.

Where do I even begin? I ordered my food at 9:15pm. My delivery time kept increasing, and increasing. Finally at 10:30 I called the restaurant. One of their employees answered and as soon as I said we were the grubhub order he knew exactly who we were. Our food was ready for pickup at 9:22. The driver never showed up. At 10:40, that same employee who is NOT affiliated with grubhub got in his car, on his own time, with his own gas money to bring us our food because he felt bad that we had waited so long. I began a customer care live chat immediately following, asking for a refund because grubhub literally did nothing to deserve our money. The restaurant was amazing, and ordering from grubhub made our experience horrendous, we didn't get our food in a timely manner, grubhub played no part in the delivery of the food, and now it is past 11:00 at night and we're finally about to have dinner. This has been horrible. The customer care person refused to refund us, which leads me to my next point of major irritation. We will have to file a credit card claim because grubhub can't even do the right thing and refund loyal customers. I will never use grubhub again and urge anyone who reads this to steer clear. Even the restaurant wants to be done with grubhub, and they will be vouching for me to my credit card company when I file my claim against grubhub.

We order staff lunches on a regular basis from GH, but today is the 3rd time in a row that items from our order are missing! It's not just a side item, it's someone's lunch! It wasn't the restaurant that made the mistake, it was GH that didn't send it through to the restaurant. We checked the receipt from the restaurant. The only solution they have every time is to give a refund and then you can order the item again. PROBLEM - you have a minimum order of $20, so your item that was missed is only $10 and you have to order extra to make the $20 up! They can't arrange for a driver to pick up your missing order, which is their fault! So, actually at the end, YOU, STILL sit with the problem! This is pathetic!

If you goto order food, they will show you pictures of one thing, put something else on your order and refuse to fix it.
