People stop being cheap!

I am a regular customer of Grubhub and I never seem to have bad luck. I tip well and don't demand for drivers to jump through hoop. If you tip your drivers, you will get your food. If you are cheap and decide to tip them $0 they will skip your order. Nobody likes to work for free. Sometimes there is problem in restaurant, order didnt come through etc. Simple phone call usually fixes it. People stop being cheap and pay your delivery people if you expect good service.

Do not use!

Food cold! Took forever! Only received a small part of the order. When I told the driver he said there was nothing he could do and left. Called customer service. They would not give me a full refund even though two people in my house will not have dinner.

Horrible delivery service

My family just went through a nightmare. My father ordered dinner to my house for our family. It was supposed to be a gift. It ended up being hell. The food never showed after a hour. The order had to be placed again. And I was told I had to make the order again with promo codes to pay for a new order. Basically I had to spend more money use the promo codes. The second order came and it was wrong and the food was cold. Unbelievable! Business like this seem to only be concerned with making money. The customer really does matter. After they get your money they basically can do what ever they want to do. Needless to say we will never use or recommended this service. It's Absolutely the worst.

Terrible service

Orders aren't filled in order of being received. Drivers can chose which orders they want to fill and which ones they don't. We ordered Taco Bell that is 5 minutes from our house and after 2 hours and 2 times calling the company with no success, we canceled our order. They said we won't get our money back for 3-5 days. That's crooked as heck! Terrible company! Terrible Service!

FOOD NEVER ARRIVED

We ordered our food and it said that it would be an hour so after about an hour and a half we tried to contact the company and they said it would arrive in the next 20 minutes but it never came then they tried to get into contact with the driver and we were unable.

THE Worst Don't Use It

Wish I could give them ZERO stars because that's what they are worth. I normally never write bad reviews but the service from Grubhub has been so so so bad so many times that you can't even give them the benefit of doubt. They are so bad that they should shut down (sorry owner), I'm a business owner too and I don't wish that on anyone but you suck so bad that I am saying it. This is over the course of a few years I have tried them like 10 times and 10/10 they just are terrible, its like they don't even want to get better. PATHETIC. NEVER USE THEM truly I'm begging all of you.

Bad service

This service is probally the worst there is. I ordered food 4 miles from my house and took an hour and a half. The driver had it in his car for almost an hour. When I called to find out what was going on I was constantly put on hold. When I asked for a supervisor I was told I could leave my number and get a call back in 24 hours or wait on the line for 5-10 minutes to speak to one. When I did speak to one there was no apology and she did not follow through on her promise. I would suggest Uber eats.

If only there were a rating of -1. I cannot think of one occasion where i received an order from grubhub without some sort of complication. I guess jokes on me for continuing to use this app. NEVER AGAIN. Worst customer service i've ever received, hands down.

Cannot Order Food

I ordered from Tacos A Gogo on 21 November. My order was cancelled. When I asked why, Grub Hub said the driver had a flat tyre and they had no back up driver. On 22 November, I tried again with another cancellation. Apparently Tacos a Gogo is closed even though their website says otherwise. I then tried to order from Dish Society. Grub Hub had promised me a discount but I was charged the full amount. I had to ask for my discount, which the agent then requested. A short while later my order was again cancelled (a third time). I contacted Grub Hub again. They claimed Dish Society cancelled it as the restaurant was not delivering on 22 November. I asked the agent to clarify: does Grub Hub deliver or do the restaurants deliver? She left the conversation without answering. What an absolutely frustrating experience and a complete waste of time.

I GrubHub drivers calling me and when I don't answer they just leave with my food. Or, they call and then when they get to my front porch they bang with their fist on my door and ring the doorbell repeatedly. All I get from GrubHub when I call to complain is that I should put something in special instructions. But, that never works because no one reads it, apparently. There's another service in my town, although they charge a lot for delivery. But GrubHub is not worth the aggravation. And, they treat their employees lousy as well.

I can see why gruhub has a LOT of 1 stars; i pre-ordered at 12:30 for $87 for delivery at 6:15 for a party i was hosting. After 2nd call to GH, they sent to driver 'ready to pickup' at 7:05! I didn't get my order until nearly 2-1/2 hours later! Food was cold, shocker there.
Won't ever use them again! Everyone at my party also had bad things to say about GH.

Decided to try GrubHub. Went onto the site, entered address, found list of restaurants, got family to agree on one, entered the order online. Got a text confirmation from GrubHub that order was on its way. Then got an email saying the order was cancelled. Seems the I'm outside of the restaurant's delivery zone. Furious, "online chat" with useless customer service rep who is "very sorry for the inconvenience". So called the US phone number, got a rep in India who said I should hold for his supervisor. Have now been holding for TWELVE MINUTES. I guess they f**k up enough orders that the supervisors are overloaded. Will never never use again.

Twice this week we have ordered from eat 24 with two different restaurants. We never got our food on either occasion. Twice they said the driver took the wrong order. On pressing them further for the second time, they told us the restaurant did not get our order and they were super busy. In this area nearly everything closes between nine and none thirty. So for the second time this week we are limited to what we can order. To add insult to injury, our refunds are returned between 3 to 5 days. They are currently holding a good proportion of our money. I am extremely angry that the second night this week has been disrupted along with our plans.

3 Strikes...

Recently tried Grubhub in Greenville, SC. First try was Red Lobster and the order was missing sauces and was cold. We only live 15 minutes away. Grubhub support did nothing. Tried Ruby Tuesdays and the driver left a salad and all the sauces at the restaurant. Support line took 15 minutes to let me know they would contact the restaurant for a partial refund and unlike other services never offered to have a driver bring it. Like an idiot I tried for my last time. Ordered from Denny's and received confirmation but tracking never showed on app. Support once again was slow and none caring. 20 minutes later they said all was well and I would get the order in 30 minutes. The app now showed progress only to have it switch to cancelled 20 minutes later. No one ever explained why it was cancelled. They need better customer service, moving support back to the US may help cut the support time. Actually caring and appreciating customers would be another.

Terrible. Just terrible

Used Grubhub for the first time. Ordered food, left my number on my receipt so they could call when they arrived. Recieved a text saying the food was delivered. Negative there ghost rider. Stood outside for 45 minutes, no food, no call. Called the restaurant, food was still sitting there. No one had came to get it called grubhub. Customer service lady decided she needed to argue with me about my order. I finally interrupted her and told her to call the restaurant. She tried to get ahold of the driver. No response. My order was refunded, but they refused to send someone else to bring my food. Seriously? If this is how they do business, they're going to lose customers left and right..

Hidden fees

So I actually liked this app until I noticed that I was getting a couple dollars extra charged each time with nothing shown as to why. It turns out it adds in hidden service charges and things like small order fees. These actually show up if you log in on a PC browser, but nowhere to be seen in the app. Given that most people use the phone app exclusively that means it is pretty much a completely hidden fee.
I took this to the service department and was told this is as intended.

Doesn't Work

Ordered twice:
First order it stated "Unable to place order at this time.", after menu selection and payment option was completed.

Second order: Payment was processed, confirmation email was received and time of delivery was set. After an hour an email was received stating "We are sorry. Your order was cancelled". No reason for cancellation was given.

This service is garbage. Do not waste your time, patience or money using it.

First time I tried I waited and waited and they canceled my order for no reason. This time I've waited for over 1.5 hours to get my food. They tried to say they didn't have a driver assigned to my food but it was ready. What is a point in having a site if you can't do what you are suppose to. I do not recommend using Grubhub at all. Hungery boiler was so much better

Three tries, two fails

The first time we used GrubHub, we made the order and waited. And waited. And waited. Eventually we called to see what had happened only to find the order never reached the restaurant. The second time we tried they delivered the food. The third and LAST time, we waited and waited and waited... finally called them back only to be told, "we don't have anyone to deliver it". Then they asked if we could go pick it up. Really? There are too many other options out there. We won't be using GrubHub again.

Incompetent

I have to begin by saying that I entered the incorrect number address for my order. Customer service called me to verify the address and I supplied the correct information. After another 20 minutes I called back and had to go through it all again. This CS rep put me on hold then dropped the call. After another 20 minutes I got another call telling me the address was incorrect. I tried to explain that I had already been through this twice but he didn't understand me. Eventually, two hours after I placed the order it showed that it had been delivered. Hope they enjoyed it. Incompetent customer service!
