The "customer service" representatives at this company have NO IDEA how to resolve a simple issue. I needed a password reset, the link to reset my password is not working, and therefore I called customer service. Long story short, I spoke with 5 different representatives over the course of 2 hours via phone and chat, and not one single person could resolve my issue. I called corporate to get help, and after 25 minutes on the phone, I was hung up on. If I were the CEO or president of this company I would be embarrassed. I am deleting my grubhub AND seamless apps (as they are operated by the same company) and would advise anyone reading this to do the same. I will not support a company who is profiting from good people such as myself, but yet cannot figure out how to provide resolution on a simple issue, or manage to keep their customer happy. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!

I left the driver perfect instructions on how to get into the gate and they had my correct address. I missed the phone call from the driver and they left. So because the driver can't use GPS or type in a gate code correctly - Grubhub "couln't give me a refund" and seemed to care less about what happened.

"Grrrreat" customer service Grubhub. The customer is never right must be your motto.

Worst Service! Terrible!

We placed order couple of times but food never arrived even after they confirmed that it will arrive in 40-50 minutes. After 1 hours on calling customer care - they said that no driver is available! What a joke! Is this how anyone can run the business!

Stay away guys from this service!

I went to go order food from a local restaurant. When it came to check out, it told me my order could not be processed, which has been an ongoing issue with them lately (but I was never charged for anything before). It was whatever and decided I was going to order directly from the restaurant's site (where I ended up saving 20% anyway). All is good and dandy. Nope. Check my bank statement the next day, I was charged for an order that never even went through. The restaurant never got a duel order from GrubHub, which they would have questioned if they got two EXACT orders at the same time from two sites. I did the chat support, no help. I was told they couldn't handle issues like that over chat, which is fine, but... WHY ARE YOU GIVING ME THE OPTION TO CLICK ON THAT ISSUE FOR CHAT WHEN IT CANT BE DISCUSSED? I called and was told that I had to wait for a call back while they looked into it. When I log into my GH account, there is NO history of that order being placed and NO e-mails from them about it. What the hell man... I just want my $50 back. So now I'm waiting to be contacted back about what is happening.

Not even worth one star

The driver somehow missed half of my order when picking up then wouldn't go pick up the rest and deliver it. Missed my lunch period and wasted a bunch of time trying to get it straightened out. The only thing they offered was a half refund. This is absolutely unacceptable.

I've given Grubhub every opportunity. In more than a dozen orders, they have never gotten it exactly right once. Late, lost drivers, wrong orders, orders canceled after I've waited 90 minutes. And their pathetic attempts to make up for their goofs are borderline insulting. I'm out. I've placed my last order. If you want food, correct and on time, go elsewhere. These guys are the worst.

Place order at 10:30am for a 12:15pm delivery. Tracker said order was delivered at 12:04. It was not. Checked with IHOP and they stated that the order was picked up at 12:02pm. Spent 30 minutes on live chat - and got no answer as they "were trying to locate the driver." Called Live customer service. Another 10 minutes on the phone. Unable to reach driver. Asked for a refund! As a diabetic eating at scheduled times is critical. Wasted my entire lunch break track food I never got. My blood sugars dropped to 59. A friend ran and got me a coke and gave me a banana That she had not eaten. Let's see if they issue refund!

It is horrible i want to buy one thing for nine dollars and i have to spend 18 or more just to proceed to checkout i cant even get a sandwich for 9 dollars you are forced to pay a minimum balance of 18 if you go below you cant proceed to checkout

Very disappointing
October 14, 2018

Order for 5 people. Got confirmation email telling me time. When time came and went no food. Contacted restaurant. They never got order. Checked email and tracked order. Said it was being prepared. How can they prepare order they never got, All the emails were from GrubHub, Needless to say cancelled order. Contacted Customer Service, Said 3-5 days for refund. Argued that wasn't right, They kept saying I understand and reading the same thing over and over. It's funny there is no where to be found contact info that is not in foreign country with someone who isn't hard to understand, Will never use them again.

I was told my order would come at 12:05. At1:00 I called restaurant and they said no driver will call them back. I spent at least an hour on phone with GH. They are horrible and speak a different language. I received my food st 3:00 and it was WRONG. What idiots. They offered their usual $10 off next order only there won't be a next order. Even restaurant told me to use Door Dash. My whole day was tied up with this and their ordering site is terrible to navigate. They need to go out of business.

I am extremely disappointed in the (dis)service I received today from GH. Food took almost 2 hours. Called 3 times and 2 of those times was left on hold for 10 min. The last call I asked for a manager and nothing. I won't be ordering from GH again, and I will be posting this review in other pages. Terrible service and disregard for customers.

The absolute worst customer service, I couldn't believe it. We ordered food for delivery at 7:27pm and received notification that estimated arrival was at 8:47. Kinda late for us but we went with it. 8:50pm comes around so we call to check if it's on the way, any questions on finding our place... they said it's already out for delivery and should be there in 10-15 mins. Bummer, we have to wait probably until 9:10pm for our food. 9:15pm comes around and we are getting pretty anxious so we call back and they give us the number of the delivery driver to check with them. We call the number and they said they are at home not making any deliveries. We are confused and it's already 9:30pm so 2 hours after we ordered has passed. Call again and they say again "it's on the way!" We explain the driver said they are not delivering anymore but they didn't understand. I know it's dumb we kept thinking the food was coming since they kept saying it's on the way but it was 9:50pm and we call for the last time and they did not pick up. It had been 2 hours and 25 mins since we ordered and they didn't think it was strange we hadn't gotten it? No one said there must have been an issue with the driver, let me find out... we will reimburse you... so sorry etc but no, nothing.
It was the most bizarre thing, I see the charge on my card but no food was delivered. No apology. They can't keep track of what's going on and didn't care.
We had arrived from being out of town for weeks so we didn't have food in the house. We went to bed hungry.

I've ordered here numerous times and maybe one time out of 5 they are great. They constantly drop the ball and have either cancelled my order or delivered my food well over 30 minutes of the arrival time. Their customer service is a joke and doesn't do much to rectify the situation.

The Worst!

Dare you to try it and see for yourself or you could try Uber Eats and be happy. I'd probably tried this service because I got a coupon for $10 off and throughout the whole process they just added extra fees which equaled more than 15$. On top of that they have a spot for tipping the driver and I put 0$ so that I could pay them in cash and as I pushed the process my order button they automatically added on the tip without my consent. So they're basically thieves as well.

I own a restaurant that was being courted by Grubhub. I was treated like a number and not a valuable asset and I decided against partnering with them after all. This led to me being chastised by my rep, an unprofessional, uneducated twenty something with no work ethic and no business sense. She said "Grubhub has thousands of restaurants, we don't need yours" in a childish temper tantrum and called me a "55 year old man" (I'm 35) on the phone. Our gourmet nacho fast casual restaurant is going to grow but I can guarantee Grubhub will never see any of our franchises. #NeverGrubhub #DontUseGrubhub

On 9/28, I ordered food from Genghis Cohen, in West Hollywood. The food was inedible. Eat24 failed to take appropriate corrective action. They offered only 1/2 a refund, though I could not eat any of the food. I had to contact Chase Credit Card in order to ensure my charge card was fully refunded the $55 for the garbage that was delivered to me. Eat24 should have insisted on a full refund itself. I will never use Eat24 again for that reason. FYI: the steamed dumplings were hard as a rock. The cashew chicken had a weird taste of some cleaning supply. The Mongolian beef was chewy and bland. I told Eat24 the restaurant could come get the food or I'd be happy to send a picture of the food being thrown down the garbage shoot. Still, Eat24 wanted me to pay nearly $30 for food I could not eat at all.

I had a decent experience when I ordered for the first time from a restaurant, using Grub Hub, BUT when I tried, and tried and tried again, the site didn't remember ANY of my info, so it was a nightmare! Plus, there really aren't many GOOD restaurants here! Also, ask yourself why don't they allow reviews on THIER sites!

Never again. Too many other options. Ordered at 5:10 pm at 6:30 called the restaurant to see if a GrubHub driver had picked up. Nope. Food had been sitting there for an hour. Called GrubHub. They assured me they'd fix it. Called the restaurant and placed a fresh order. And gave me $10 off. MY NEXT ORDER! What? That's not fixing this problem. That's trying to get me to spend more money later. I finally got my food at 7:45 and two items were missing (I'm guessing the original order was done correctly by the restaurant...) So, I spent $6 in tip and $5 delivery and the food was $30. And they would absolutely NOT make this right. No refund issued. They did offer me another $10 off a future order--but the 2 can't be used at the same time. Goodbye GrubHub. I wanted you to make this right. I gave you plenty of opportunities through e-mail.
