It takes 7 to 10 days for them to credit money back to your account after you purchase and the restaurant cancesl due to not having your order after waiting an hour and a half to two hours. This is nuts. I must say that GrubHub did try to make up for the lost funds by giving me a voucher to order more food but there is a catch, I still had to pay xtra money out of my pocket to cover tip, taxes, etc..
After waiting an hour for my food delivery, the company sent me a text telling me that my order was cancelled. I called their customer service and they stated they didn't have anyone to deliver the food in my area. LOL What a bunch of idiots...
When you pay over 50 dollars you expect to at least receive your food. If I am a driver and they hand me a small bag from IHOP My first thought would be " There has to be more ". It would only be common sense.
I gave a 20 percent tip for this? I will never opt in for a tip until it is deserved from now on. It seems the driver is only concerned about their next order and not the one they are currently on.

Late deliveries. Deliveries never made. Deliveries seldom wrong when they were made. Customer service is nothing but a call center with people who are hard to understand who cannot help you. Left on hold multiple times for over 20 minutes while trying to make a complaint with the customer service (call center)
I called after two orders were canceled and guess what, GrubHub offered me a five dollar credit and the guy on the phone sounded like a robot like he didn't care at all and that it was something so common for them that they're just used to it.
I am vegetarian. I ordered a meal that had no meat. I received a meal that had meat in it. I did not want the food, tried to return my order, but Grub Hub charged me anyway. They refused to take it back even after I set it out on my porch (see photo). They had an incredibly rude customer service agent call me and yell at me over the phone refusing to take this charge off my credit card. This was after the incredibly rude driver refused to return the wrong order.
I will never order from this company again. They took money from me for food I did not order and cannot eat. Even worse, they have super-rude customer service agents that yell at you.
I have had at least 7 incorrect orders, 5 deliveries of cold food, and 9 deliveries that were 45 minutes or more past the projected delivery time. The drivers are lazy thugs. They all wear bedroom slippers and act like they are doing you a favor. Twice they walked away before I had hold of the bag while they turned to walk away talking on their phone. Food hit the pavement. Get your $#*! off the couch (if you can) and DO NOT PAY THESE FOOLS. Hell, I live in the ATL and one of these MOFO's is up for murder right now for shooting an unarmed Customer. Check the news in ATL 12/2018. 4 real.
We ordered fast food from Chick-Fil-A. The driver arrived a hour and a half late. Our food was ice cold. When I called the Grubhub customer service line to complain I was offered a credit. It was obviously a lie as it has not appeared. None of this was Chick-fil-A's fault. It was all the worst EVER Grubhub service from the driver to whoever answers their customer service line. What a ridiculous encounter for a fast food place! We haven't ordered since. I'm not sure we will. I'm starting to realize this company doesn't care about their customers only the almighty dollar.
Ordered twice no food both times after waiting 2 hours for each order. They tell you your order is on the way then hours later tell you it's not coming.
If I could give a negative number I would. The restaurant we ordered from is 0.4 miles from our house.
The food was cold & took nearly 25 minutes to get here. The driver was so rude. She called & wouldn't even speak with me. She hung up on me. FYI, my name was on the credit card & the phone she called. My son was outside waiting for the delivery.
I called the 800 number to complain, he was a useful as a box of rocks in quarry.
I wouldn't ever recommend GrubHub to anyone I know.
The order never arrived... I spoke with the customer service representative and he gave me a promo code for the next order. I have never received my money back... very unprofessional service and unhelpful customer service... This was my first and last order. I do not even going to use the promo code, I don't want to find myself on the same situation why I am hungry... Uber Eats works much way better and customer service is excellent...
NEVER EVER EVER USE THIS SERVICE. I ordered Chinese food, which takes 15 minutes max to prepare, at 3pm and received my order at 5pm. Needless to say the noodles were dried out and crunchy for lo Mein and the almond fried chicken was soggy. Grub hub offered $12 on first time order which I never received and when called was only offered $10 by grub hub. I received an e mail from the restaurant saying order would be here by 4:30 which I was fine with since the site says it may take one hour and was willing to give them 90 minutes, but not two hours! Grub hub of course blamed the restaurant saying they got busy at exact time I placed order and only had one driver. My question would be then rather than give a customer $40 of nasty food that has sat there almost 2 hours why didn't they just make new in 15 minutes if they cared. This restaurant was Ming Palace in Everett, Wa. Grubhub forces a delivery charge PLUS a minimum 15% tip for this sh*t service and food. This first time customer did this for the last time. Course when doing online chat with me they just ended the conversation when I wanted to know why it would be my problem the place got busy and only had one driver and there response was basically to hang up on me.
The delivery driver calls waits for 5 minutes and then drives away. He did not come to the door and that's what I was waiting for. Isn't that apart of their job? I tried calling back to get customer service and their just as worse. Saying there's no way to give me my money back nor can they get in contact with the driver that just left with my order. When I finally tell the guy let me speak to a manager he then offers me a refund. It took 20 mins on the phone just to get a refund and it's going to take 3-5 business days not including the weekend (it's a Friday)
Terrible experience with Grubhub. I have been a regular user at least once or twice a week. Not anymore! Restaurant messed up our order, the lady was very polite, offered us extra food, etc... they called back and couldnt get in touch with Grubhub. I had to call and was told that they would not go back and get the food. They would credit me the delivery. Which I already had a free delivery code. Have the restaurant credit us the food, then reorder. Called the restaurant. Nope, Grub hub credits the food. Ended up having to go pick it up :( Dinerdash or uber eats from now on!
I no longer drive so it was nice to have something like grubhub. For the first 2mos all ok. Now? The last three orders from diff places stated 40-50m delivery time. Then when the 50m was up, i get a text stating the deliver is late and now will be another 15-20 min. Sometimes i get this text two times. This order was KFC and KFC called me within the first 5min with a quest, so i know its a grubhub prob. By the time the food arrives, its spilled, sloshed and lukewarm. I will no longer use grubhub-will take biz elsewhere
Bye bye Grubhub. 1.5 hour late delivery. Called restaurant and they said the food was ready one hour ago. Third time happens to me. No more. I wish I could add a photo to this post but my food has not arrived yet. Customer service only offered me a new update of the delivery time that's 40 minutes later than the original time.
I got shook down by Marvin Gardens to buy more for delivery. Came 2 hours later cold. Called them 3 times after trying to see if they could do anything. Guess what? After every time I called they didn't know about my last call. NEVER followed up. Just hung up the phone like NEXT. Vote with your $ everyone
We ordered at 8:30pm with a delivery time of 10:00pm. At 10:05pm, we called the restaurant-they never received the order. So we called Grubhub to cancel the order. It was very difficult to cancel. They also said it was the fault of the restaurant-um no, they didn't even get the order. They also advertise they don't charge your card until your food is delivered. NOT TRUE. My card was charged the second I completed the offer and now I have to wait 3-5 business days to receive the refund. Will never order from them again. The entire time I'm on the phone with grubhub they were trying to make me keep the order and let them still deliver the food. I proceeded to tell him that I was too hungry to wait another hour and a half to get food. Then while I'm on the phone with grub hub, I received a text at 10:10pm saying that our food would be delivered between 10:00pm-10:10pm... so clearly grubhub was at fault and sent the order over while I was on the phone with them. Poor service and to blame the restaurant is awful considering THEY CANT MAKE AN ORDER IF THEY NEVER RECEIVE IT. IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS, I WOULD
Got shorted a kids meal on a $55 order. Called customer service to see about getting my meal. They said they could refund me the meal price but not get a driver to deliver food without another delivery charge. When I asked about the policy to a supervisor she basically told me I should have said I was missing at least $20 worth of food to have them resend order with no delivery charge. Worst policy and customer service ever. Will never use again.
Delivered 1 of 2 meals. Customer service obviously outsourced overseas. 30 minutes to get a refund of the missing items and tip. No refund on delivery charge.
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.
Answer: Both. But he is not alone, unfortunately. He only got exposed. Millions others are working in politically intolerant places. We have to change that.
Answer: Yes, it is normal. Original delivery times are almost never met. No drivers, Lost Drivers, Poorly trained or untrained drivers.
Answer: LOL... no kidding right! How can places take 2 hours to get food to you and not necessarily at a peak time. Good luck! Hope you were able to cancel it, but wonder if it showed up in the mean time. For this reason I no longer use a card but pay cash when I get the food. Hope you've managed to eat something by now.

Answer: Answer: Grub Hub does suck big time. No real answer. If you like cold food, delivered late and an "oh well" customer service attitude, Grub Hub is the company you should use.
Answer: They just don't care. Company motto must be "customer comes last". They simply trying to salvage whatever market share they can before they get bought out by a superior service that actually cares about customers.
Answer: Nothing. By this inaction I would say to quit using this bad business. Go with UberEats or maybe try getting your own food.
