Ordered online, got a call asking if we picked up our food. When I told them that we are waiting on delivery from Grubhub, he said he would call back. I got a call back that stated that the driver picked up the food but GrubHub cannot track where the food was. They said they would reorder the food and have it delivered. I then get an email cancelling my order, when I reached out, they told me that a reorder did not take place and I would have to reorder the food. They told me that they never called me to tell me they were reordering the food and bringing the lost food to us, when I told him that the googled phone number used was from Grubhub, he said that I was wrong. I ended up ordering through doordash with no intentions of using Grubhub ever again.

UNACCEPTABLE

There needs to be a 0 star option. 1.5 hours later, they said they attempted to call and deliver. No missed calls, emails, notifications and I have a ring doorbell that records and shows that no one rang my doorbell or attempted to come to the door. They said they don't require them to get out of their car so sometimes they call, which was not what happened. They even confirmed no call attempts were made. It is unacceptable for them to lie about this and say they made an attempt. They just probably went home and enjoyed the food that they expected me to pay for. Then they had a hard time taking responsibility for it. The first guy said 50% my next order with them, but that didn't include refunding the order of the food we didn't get. I had to speak with a manager to get them to agree to refund me and that's how they made it right' with free delivery next time. Get out of here! That is the worst customer service. We were starving and everything was closed after waiting on them for this long. They need better policies and better customer service with the ability to make up for their mistakes. I will only use postmates going forward. I recommend you do to (which means no Yelp orders).

Never use them

I waited 2 and a half hours on my first order and the food never showed up. They never did anything to makeup for it either. NEVER BUY FROM THEM

Terrible

I've had multiple issues with not delivering my food because Grubhub sent the wrong address. The drivers are super rude and half of the time even when it's the right address they don't show up to the right place. Just got yelled at by a driver to hurry up and come get my food and when I said he wasn't at my house he argued with me and told me to call Grubhub then bc he went to the one they gave him. If your order is missing items they'll tell you you got a refund for those items but you'll never see it. After all the issues I've had you'd think they'd offer a coupon or something to make up for it but no. Honestly doordash is 1000% times better and if there's a problem with your order they take it upon themselves to call you before you even need to call them so I won't ever be using Grubhub again

Never again!

I would actually rate them with a negative number if it were possible. Paid for food, almost $200 worth, and did not receive it. The driver said no one was there, it was business with a person at the front counter who said no one came in. The driver also said he called, yet we have no incoming unusual phone call on our cell phone, no message. The only call we got was from customer service saying our driver attempted delivery and left. We advised them that we were there so they said the driver was turning around to come back. While on the phone with cs person he said the driver is out front and no one is there, we were standing out in front of the business looking for him. We walked down the street to see if he was at the wrong address spotted a person putting a deliver bag in a car so we walked up to him and tried to wave him down as he was pulling away. He looked and kept driving. Keep in mind we are still on the phone with customer service telling what was happening. The customer service person said the driver had left. We asked what kind of car does he drive and cs said we can't share that with you. Are you kidding? We just got taken for $200 worth of food. Grubhub got paid, the driver got paid and our food. We were left hungry! Will NOT use or recommend this company to anyone!

NOT OKAY AT ALL.

Had the worst experience EVER with grub hub. I ordered from chili hots and just got a regular wrap combo. Nothing crazy. On the grub hub app you can see where your driver is and it said the driver never even left chili hots when the order was ready. The order was supposed to be delivered between 1:50-2:00.20 minutes passes by and i see my order was "delivered" but clearly it wasn't. So i call grub hub customer service and and they say that there is nothing they can do about it except give me a 50% off coupon for the NEXT TIME I ORDER?! There is no way i will ever be using grub hub again because I DID NOT GET MY FOOD AND I AM OUT 20 DOLLARS. Ridiculous.

Horrible service

I ordered from Foot Prints in Bklyn NY. Took almost two hours for delivery. The food was horrible. I paid over $100. No one took responsibility or tried to address my issue. I'll never order through grub hub or Foot Prints again.

I referred a friend using grubhub app. They did not give me a promo code, and when I reached out to customer service, my issue wasn't addressed. When one of the customer agent did figure out a way to help me, she said that I HAD TO PLACE AN ORDER RIGHT AWAY FOR THE PROMO CODE TO APPLY. I asked her to send me the referral code so that I can use it in future when I order food, she said she just cannot send the referral code away. Nor did I get the first order promo code. Never using Grubhub again!

The driver never came to the door, I received 2 calls from a Chicago # (I do not answer calls from people I do not know) then the driver simply left with my food. I called the Chicago number back and was informed that I will not be receiving neither my food or my money back. So no food and $20 later I am furious!

Ordered $50 worth of food and never came. Customer service claimed the driver called but he/she didnt. No refund but I did get a $20 off coupon. Called the restaurant to pick up my order since I did pay for it, but they said it was delivered. So the driver got free food and a $9 tip. Never again...

Seriously. I called BWW and they said Door Dash has never been late to pick up the food. The guy at Buffollo Wild wing was honestly concerned for me. Grub hub has really bad articles I soon found out. No thanks. DOOR DASH all the way!

Bad customer service. When talking to them about a transaction for over an hour via text they couldn't find the transaction I complained about. Send them every piece of documentation they asked for and more. Still never got resolved.

Worst Service

GrubHub drivers are lazy and unreliable. They never deliver your food on time nor it reaches you but money gets deducted from you for feeding the drivers free. They neither call your contact number and then when you call the customer care, you come to know that your order was their but the driver was unable to contact you so the delivery won't be delivered again. I will never order my food anytime now or in my near future nor recommend them to my friends. They are not committed to their work and services. I would rather donate than spend on useless people. I wish I could give them a negative stars. They promise to give 50% discount in your next order which also is not true, they know how to make you a fool.

What a farce

So tonight I put in an order for 2 ice creams. Now I get it. Doesn't sound big, but they charged me $15 bucks for a deliver for 1 ice cream all because there was a very small difference in an ingredient. One had strawberry boba and the other regular strawberries. The issue is they mixed them into a bigger one and when I called them out, they said it was my fault and not theirs. So submitted complaint with BBB and will never use them again.

Food not delivered

I'm a truck driver and have used Grub hub several times with no issues till today. They claimed the food was delivered but it wasn't delivered to me. I never got any calls or even an email saying it was on its way. They offered me 50% off next order bit no refund. After demanding a supervisor, in whatever country customer service is located in, I did get a refund but I'm still hungry. Buyer beware with Grub hub, I never looked at their reviews before today, I should have.

Horrible experience. I made an order online and gave them my work address. It's an office that has open doors and many people in it. I didn't know that the driver called when I was on the phone with clients. When I called a missed number, it went into a recording that said that the person has not set up his voicemail. I waited and the food never showed up. I finally called the driver's number again and JUAN picked up the phone. He said that he is not delivering to me now as he couldn't find me and tried to call. I told him I was on the phone and couldn't reach him when I called back. He said to call Grubhub and it's not his problem. I called Grubhub and they said no refunds. They will just give me credit to use for a different time. Why would I order again after this experience? They wouldn't even make it right. Don't use this company. This is a scam. There has to be other reputable ones.

DO NOT USE GRUB HUB!
I would give it NO STARS if I could. Worst food delivery service EVER. The status of the delivery changed to delivered when nothing was delivered to me. Trying to get help from a representative was a nightmare. Grubhub has a live chat for assistance and I was "hung up" on by 6 different reps. I guess no one wanted to look into the issue or try to locate my $90 worth of food order. The delivery guy would not respond back to me via text or answer my calls. 50 minutes later, I finally got a live person on the phone who basically told me the driver is not near my location anymore and next time I should leave more clearer instructions on the order. "Meet me in the lobby" How much more clearer can I get? Ridiculous! I had a meeting full of hungry people and had to order from someplace else and pick it up. NEVER AGAIN, GRUBHUB!

If I could give them 0 stars I would! Terrible, terrible, terrible experience! I ordered breakfast and was delivered someone else's breakfast after waiting an hour for a promised "35 minute" delivery... I call the delivery driver who tells me there's NOTHING he can do! So I contact customer service who refers to me as a "sir" when I clearly have a females name! They tell me there's NOTHING they can do but refund my money which will not be back in my bank until "5 days" from the order day! But they wanted me to spend another $49.00 to reorder the food! The agent couldn't help me, the manager couldn't help me... and just brushed everything off like it was no big deal! DO NOT ORDER FROM GRUB HUB! THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND TELL YOU TO SHOVE IT UP YOUR A$$ AFTERWARDS!

Jk, never order anything. You will get cold food from a clueless person who couldnt find your house multiple hours after estimated delivery time. EVERY. TIME. YOU. ORDER. Need proof? Order grubhub from your favorite local resturant, sit at the bar there and wait for your "driver" to show up with the grubhub bag, You cant miss them. I had a drink and a long chat with my own unwitting delivery guy about all the crap he pulls on the job, then met him at my house across the street from the resturant to recieve my food. You shouldve seen the look on dude's face LOL. This company is garbage.
