Delivery sucks and takes forever. They tried to double charge me, had to file a grievance with my bank to get my money back, and on a separate occasion ordered take out using them and the order took a half hour to get to the restaurant. Avoid at all costs.
Sat outside the whole time watching the tracker for delivery at a house on a corner get delivered on tracker know one ever showed called customer service states they called and texted me and can't refund my money ceo and cfo should be on the show "American greed" just corporate American scammers! Internet crooks!
Driver stole my food and turned off her phone so customer support couldn't reach her. This is a terrible delivery service. Beware.
They take your money, then when your order is supposed to be delivered you get a text saying your order is canceled no reason why. Then it takes 5 to 10 business days to have your Money nack on your card! They try to say its based on your bank which is bs. Its based on tjem when yoyr Money is refunded! I am pissed and want my money refunded immediatly! Dont order!
The GH driver stole our food & lied about GPS
The GH driver stole our food, we re-ordered but it was never delivered. Had to go pick it up. GH driver lied in only one text and stated our address wasn't in the GPS. What a thief and liar, we believe. He is Omar, a Black man who refused to answer phn or texts, but only one. GH is severely going downhill and fast. There is a huge problem with communication within the GH staff. Also, the English is very broken or even unintelligible by their staff, a literal nightmare all the way around to deal with. Wish things were decent within GH and Omar, the driver last night, to us, was evident of being a criminal, we believe. GH informed us they would get another driver to deliver however the restaurant, Green Curry, contacted us to let us know they were closing soon and so we inform the nice lady we were coming in to pick it up; we did. The reason we ordered from Green Curry, and worked so hard to get the meal, is because they are the best Thai restaurant around; EXCELLENT FOOD, but garbage GH service.
It took over 3 hours to finally get a meal thru GH but also a HUGE hassle and struggle to get refunds, i. E.

Two times we've ordered a particular restaurant from Grubhub and two times it never showed up. The first time it was delayed over and over again. The restaurant said the driver picked it up on time. We cancelled order through the restaurant. Customer service called to apologize and offered us coupons! Seriously!
The second time, I really didn't want to order but to much to do, so little time. Surely it wont happen again, right? By the second delay I called restaurant and they told me it set there for ever before the driver showed up. Very frustrating! Called customer service and the rep barely spoke any English. Couldn't understand her and I'm pretty sure she didn't understand me either! WILL NEVER USE AGAIN!

An order was never going to get delivered. Nobody on their customer service team seemed to have the power to rectify the problem. You have to continually escalate the problem up their service and still nothing happens.
Every time I order, I write specific instructions as to where I want the order delivered. They never get it right and leave the food at the front house or just take it with them. Additionally, almost every driver speaks or reads no English.
Grubhub is absolutely bogus! I recommend to anyone reading these reviews to NOT order through them. Their service is highly incompetent and not worth paying the delivery fee that comes with it. Shame on you, Grubhub, you don't even deserve the one star. Two hours for a fast food delivery when the restaurant is less than a mile away!
Every time we order from Costa Vida, our food is excellent and we receive it way ahead of schedule. Soooo good!

First and foremost depending on what market you're in. You won't make enough money to make repairs on your vehicle. Or afford the health insurance they offer. Like the title says. Low pay for long drives. So the person you are supposed to pick up food for might not even live in the same city as the restaurant your picking up their food at. AGAIN, Low pay for long drives in rush hour traffic especially, unreliable technology. I was kicked out of my block claiming that I was not able to be reached by their server and they would even try and reinstate my block. They just said it was my service which it wasn't. You'd best have another source of income because you get to have a reliable amount of blocks(hours) to work. Just an all around terrible company to work for.
Terrible! Ordered once. My order was 23 minutes late and food was cold. Contacted customer service to figure out where my driver was, after not receiving a response myself. They gave me 5 dollars off my next order for the inconvenience, however contacted the driver and apparently withheld her tip. When she arrived she was angry with me and when I tried to talk to her, she kept walking and starting yelling about how badly the company treats drivers and how they give them 3 or 4 orders at a time and then withhold tips when they're late. I contacted customer service again and told them what happened and asked for a refund. They tried to offer another 5 dollar off coupon and I told them that I would not be using grubhub again and they finally agreed to refund my order, but kept the tip, which the driver probably never recieved. Will never use grubhub again.
This service is a complete joke, for 2 times in a row I ordered food from this site and there has been something that has gone amiss. Either the driver didn't get a portion of the food ordered or the driver never delivered my order without my knowledge and delays kept occuring. In a pathetic attempt to cover their failure they just said sorry about that and tried to pretend like a discount would fix everything. Grubhub had one job and they cant stop messing it up.
I liked that Grubhub had continued to expand their offerings, but when they faced an issue that originated with the restaurant, they failed to make it right in any meaningful way.
Want to order for family movie night? How would you like it if the food arrived and while all of the desserts were there, only 1 out of 3 dinners was there? Then when you call the restaurant, they say it will be 10 minutes and they'll have the rest of the food ready - and then 30 minutes passes and the food still isn't there? Then you call the restaurant and they say that they're just waiting on the driver - who they've not been able to contact?
This was a mess and then after 20 minutes on the phone with both the restaurant and GrubHub, they best that they would do was to refund the food that my son and I hadn't received and never would. This isn't a hardware store - you aren't simply paying for materials - you're paying for a delivery/ dining experience and the whole thing was ruined with two of us left hungry and disappointed.
When I had requested a supervisor that could do better, the call was disconnected upon transfer. I've deleted the app.
Get a text saying my order is delayed 20 minutes... Ok, cool. 30 minutes go by and they call and ask if I got my order. It's been over an hour at this point. I say no, still waiting... Then the guy proceeds to tell me "another driver must have picked up my order" and asked if I wanted to wait for my order to be remade. So another hour and a half? Ummm not optional, the reason I'm ordering the service is that I'm at a hotel waiting for an event and my Uber is due to pick me up in 20 minutes. The customer service rep barely says sorry and asks if I just want to cancel the order then... Obviously. No offer to redeem the $10 coupon again, no offer for another coupon to give the service another try. So needless to say, I definitely won't be trying the service again.
Insanely expensive and they don't even get your order right. How hard is it to check and see if you have the 3 items that were ordered before you leave the restaurant? This isn't rocket science. GrubHub refuses to make it right, so you are just out the money. Unlike other food delivery services, there is no option for cash tip with GrubHub to ensure you don't tip a lot for poor service or forgotten items. So I just gave an $11 dollar prepaid tip to some dude that forgot one third of our order. He just shoved the bag in our hands when we opened the door and bolted! I deleted the app immediately. Never again
Grubhub is advertising a new pizza joint in our town. We ordered alot of food for us and out of town guests. Figured we would give the new guys a chance. What a mistake. 2.5 hours later - NO FOOD! Called the restaurant 10 times and their "phone number" is a cell phone with a full voicemail box! Called Grubhub and after 20 minutes on the phone they offered us a $5 credit for our inconvenience. Hungry kids, out of town guests. Please! I told them to keep their $5 bucks and get a life. BTW - I never leave reviews... I will never use Grubhub again.
Someone in the NY area used my dad's debit card at Grubhub and a few other food delivery sites. Grubhub investigated the matter and determined it was fraud but refuses to return his money until he goes through dispute process with the bank. All other companies that were fraudulently used were contacted and once they realized it was fraud, they refunded his money.
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.
Answer: Both. But he is not alone, unfortunately. He only got exposed. Millions others are working in politically intolerant places. We have to change that.
Answer: Yes, it is normal. Original delivery times are almost never met. No drivers, Lost Drivers, Poorly trained or untrained drivers.
Answer: LOL... no kidding right! How can places take 2 hours to get food to you and not necessarily at a peak time. Good luck! Hope you were able to cancel it, but wonder if it showed up in the mean time. For this reason I no longer use a card but pay cash when I get the food. Hope you've managed to eat something by now.

Answer: Answer: Grub Hub does suck big time. No real answer. If you like cold food, delivered late and an "oh well" customer service attitude, Grub Hub is the company you should use.
Answer: They just don't care. Company motto must be "customer comes last". They simply trying to salvage whatever market share they can before they get bought out by a superior service that actually cares about customers.
Answer: Nothing. By this inaction I would say to quit using this bad business. Go with UberEats or maybe try getting your own food.
