We watched the driver on the map, pick up our food and go to another address. We called twice and he didn't answer. We texted and he said he was stopping at home first. He stayed there for 15 minutes( way out of the way from our home, a total time from pick up to dilevery of less than 3 miles was almost an hour) and we texted him that we were uncomfortable accepting the food(that would have been cold anyway), and for him not to come. He came anyway and said that the food wasn't ready so he stopped at home and than went back to get it. But we had watched him come straight from his house to our house. Very unhappy. Im not sure what could have been done to the food at his house and thought that was extremely inapropriate thing to do.
I placed an order and about 2 hours later it had yet to even be picked up. I'm usually very understanding of delays and such but this was too much and I was Hangry lol. I contacted customer service just to see what the delay was before I started pointing fingers and before the representative even gave me reasoning he just bluntly asked if I wanted to cancel my order? At this point it was safe to say my food was probably cold and I didn't want to deal with this anymore.
No apologizes, No customer service. And No Food :(
When GrubHub online offer didn't go thru, Simmarons gave us the number to call and complain. When site automatically placed pick up order instead of Delivery, Simmarons fixed it immediately. When we called to say we didn't get our food via Delivery, they told us why and delivered to us VERY quickly. Nice phone manners. Great wings! Cheese steak pretty good. Will order again but not thru Grub Hub ever again. This restaurant should separate from Grub hub marketing.
Ordered 5 orders today for my coworkers at a hospital. My name and number all correct and I've never had a problem until today. I had 2 people looking for the delivery girl. I texted and tried to call and no response. 30 mins of waiting... it's shows "food delivered". Well guess what no food for me... I called and texted customer service they said she "tried but no one was there". I got an email 30 mins later saying she tried. Ok. If my numbers were correct then why didn't you call? Soo pissed! No refund, no redeliver of food, nothing. Customer service sucked. I will dispute these charges ASAP! Cancelled account also.
I accidentally put the wrong address with my order. I tried to change it I could not it was not an option on the app. I texted the driver there was no response. I called customer care and she proceeded to tell me she couldnt help me because they tried calling me. The only calls I recieved was of the same number Chicago and never left a voicemail. I live in michigan amd with all the scammer calls im not really in a position to answer an out of state phone call. I also received zero texts and zero voicemails from the company nor the driver. Because I failed to answer the call and the food had been "delivered" there was nothing that they could do. So after talking to this lady for 5 minutes she said she'd send me a promo code and I was okay with that... until I put a new order in because I was hungry and had been waiting over an hour for food thats when I realizes the promo code she gave me was $2.60! My original order was $14.00. I put in the promo code for the new order and my order was over $17.00 including the promo code. I called a Marco who was supposedly a manager. Said there is nothing he could do because I applied the promo code. I'm out 14.00 and spent over 17.00 on the next order because they couldnt refund me not replace my order after it was delivered to nobody. Grubhub took $35.00 from me for 1 plate of Bob Evans that was originally a $10.00 meal. I need my money back and they will not give it back to me.
I placed a big order for my coworkers today that totaled over $100. When the delivery driver came he called me and I was unable to pick up the call right away but it took me only several minutes to call him back. The phone went straight to Google voice everytime I called. I then asked the front desk security guard if anyone had walked in and dropped off food, he said they didn; t. I contacted customer service and they told me that the driver had left and returned the food to the restaurant and that they could only give me a partial refund. This was even after I told them that I had tried to call him back and that no one had come into a public building to drop off food. I asked if there was any way the driver could drop off the food again or if we could pick up the food. Every solution I offered they were extremely unhelpful with. On top of all this, I called the restaurant to see if I could pick up the food that was returned and while the restaurant itself was really helpful they assured me that no food was returned. Customer service for Grubhub was not only unhelpful, they lied about the food being returned. I want a full refund.
Use another delivery service. It's terrible ever time. Food never shows up. I've ordered several different occasions and food never shows up.
This service SUCKS. Order was delivered wrong, driver took off. I had to race back to the restaurant before it closed and then needed to wait 45 minutes for a refund to process. Will NEVER use again. Only using competitor restaurant connection, callrc.com

THIS IS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER ORDERED FROM! My order kept getting delayed and delayed and delayed. I called several times and got put on hold then I was told it would be to me within 10 mins. Never came so I called back, I got a lovely promo code and my food still wasnt here. THEN after 2 hours my food finally arrived, COLD, all of it was COLD and NASTY and the order was WRONG! I called back and wouldnt you know they wanted to give me a promo code and nothing more, I argued and got a whopping 10 back and a promo code. THIS PLACE IS RIDICULOUS! They arent able to get me hot food and replace my order because the website is automated. I WILL NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN! THIS IS A SCAM!
I ordered two meals from Old Chicago. Almost immediately I was told that my meal was not available so my total was adjusted. I immediately replied to the email where it says to reply above this line, and told them to cancel the order. I emailed three more times in an honest attempt to cancel the order. I was ignored and one meal showed up. I would NEVER use Grub Hub again. Terrible service and they stole my money by ignoring my responses. I hope they enjoyed their $30 as they will NEVER get another dime from me!
Wish there was an option for zero stars because Grubhub really earned that today. I had food made incorrectly and no sauce was given for my child so he refused to eat it and Grubhub said it's noy our problem. Talk to Denny's. Pass the buck. That is what's wrong with the world today. No accountability. No guilty conscience. I said that they would lose a customer because DoorDash IMMEDIATELY resolves issues electronically, never even requires a chat or phone call. They take accountability. I don't recommend Grubhub unless you like taking a gamble on your food
Waited till my order was over an hour late until I contacted customer service. Order was NOT DELIVERED. Thankfully I pushed and pushed on the phone with customer service and was told I would be given a full refund.! DO NOT USE THIS APP!
They charged me for a drink and never brought it and wouldnt refund me or make it right and i'm left paying 24$ for half a meal and its bull$#*!. They are scammers! Use postmates or ANY OTHER delivery service. Plus the delivery person smelled like they hadnt showered in a month and was sweaty and disgusting. I'm shocked their service is so bad. WOW
Many people I know in the professional field use Grubhub. I recently started a job in Houston and decided to order a sub from Subway through Grubhub. When I got to the site it said give us and email and get $7.00 off your first purchase, I gave my email and was told the discount would be waiting at checkout. I ordered a footlong sub from Subway and a bag of chips. 18.00?! Decided what the heck I was hungry. GH took my order, it showed processing for over an hour, then suddenly I get a text saying your order from Subway has been canceled. Please see your email for details, the details were, "Your Order has been canceled" no explanation or anything! WTH! I have canceled my account and GH has lost a customer that never had the chance to get started. NEVER AGAIN. This is a price gouging joke and I should have known better from the start. GRUBHUB shame on you!
The app constantly changes your address and I wanted to use my current location but for some reason the app changed it to my neighbors house and ive never been there. The driver delivered my food to the wrong house and customer service didnt refund the total cost of my meal. Their food vouchers are a complete scam.
GRUBHUB does a great job of delivering your food from restaurants when you DON'T WANT TO GO OUT TO DINE. You want to stay home and chill, right? However, what most users don't know is they automatically charge you as if you were sitting at the favored restaurant table being served. If a consumer, like many of us, don't take serious notice to the 'PLACE ORDER' tab, you will pay a tip, without your knowledge. The lowest 'tip' is 18% of your order PLUS a delivery fee. I tip when my food is delivered, always, but they not only charge a delivery fee but 'auto tip' of 18% if you don't catch it. THE KICKER; I did catch the auto tip and put in a 'custom tip' but when I submitted the order it automatically charged 18%. (Attached). I called Grubhub about the issue and not only did they put me on hold for 40 minutes but then they 'LOST' my order. I called headquarters the next day to speak to a Manager and was shuffled between 3 departments, over 74 minutes on hold, and then finally they hung up on ME! I was finally refunded the tip of 24.00 after 3 days. The initial order was placed (and lost) on a Sunday and I was tired. Bone tired but I got in my car and went to the restaurant to pick up a NEW order, GRUBHUB driver called to say they lost it or it was delivered to the wrong address. I asked if they could replace the 'lost' order and it was NO. Message: GRUBHUB the way you 'pay' your drivers is through the sneaky auto tip - you fake the consumer out of money. If the consumer actually wanted to DINE IN, we would be happy to pay for the experience, you DELIVER, you don't SERVE. Your business may have a chance but your response and how you react to issues gives you the hugest thumbs down. Ethically, your brand model will be nonexistent in the next few years. Your consumers are your business. You are in serious trouble if you don't start to learn BEST PRACTICES soon.
I will NEVER order from GrubHub again. I ordered food tonight with five total items. The bag of food arrived with two items missing and two others were the incorrect items. I contacted GrubHub and they refunded ONLY the cost of those items and not any of the ridiculous delivery fees. This means that I essentially paid $14.67 for the one correct item I had remaining that costs $3.99 at the restaurant. Done.
Never order here again never got my order just got a refund that i have to wait for 5 days but you got my money today and on top of that the driver would not anwser his phone for me or grubhud customer service f up right never again

Definitely stay away from this company, i use to order grubhub all the time and never had a problem, now they use third party drivers or something, 3 hours wait for cold food and when called customer service all they offered was a 10% discount on my next order.
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.

Answer: Yes, it is normal. Original delivery times are almost never met. No drivers, Lost Drivers, Poorly trained or untrained drivers.
Answer: LOL... no kidding right! How can places take 2 hours to get food to you and not necessarily at a peak time. Good luck! Hope you were able to cancel it, but wonder if it showed up in the mean time. For this reason I no longer use a card but pay cash when I get the food. Hope you've managed to eat something by now.
