Grub hub is worthless they are over priced and can rarely get an order right. Plus they have never delivered any where near there estimated time usually 1 to 3 hours later than estimated if at all
This service is not reliable. For a simple pizza delivery it took over 2 hours. When we placed the order, it said it would get to our house within the next hour, but we kept getting delay notices... we talked to a nice service representative from Grubhub, he gave us 20% on our next delivery, but that's not enough to compensate... they took our money, our tip and they do not deserve it.
Not only was the order delayed 4 times before being picked up and I had to contact crib hub 3 times... the order was finally picked up 2 hours and 10 minutes later delayed yet one more time the driver was on his way to our location then got off the route and went in far west direction. I texted the driver no response. So after being 2.5 hours late he thought it'd be ok to drop of someone else's order far out while on the way to deliver mine. Had to call grub hub again and cancel the order.
The worst customer service and worst driver... I will forever use alternative service!
Now it's 9pm and my children and I have not ate.
What a horrible company. I waited outside for 5-10 minutes after getting the call that food was here. No one showed up. I called back and was put on hold with customer service for 15 minutes and was then told "sorry something happened, your order won't be coming, have a nice day". $#*! you GrubHub.
Extremely disappointing to be contacted by customer service after having a missing item! The driver was spot on. And was going to go back and get the items for me, however GHs customers service called me 3 TIMES to refund item each saying they talked to the driver... lies! GH, you truly need to get your customer service team under control! Doordash is looking so much better, NEVER once have I had problems with them refunding money! With you guys I've been contacted 3 times and had 3 different stories, I dont like a company that blatantly and knowingly lied to me! Then to top it off 20mins on hold for a manager RIDICULOUS!
I was looking forward to relaxing after a day out of town. Get back to my airbnb with my husband and decide to order using Grubhub. This was our first experience using the service, and we were in a very populated city mind you. I put the order in at around 11:25pm-ish. The order was received by TacoBell. After waiting the allotted time, there was nothing on the map. Then my order was delayed and waited another 30 minutes. I finally saw the driver pop up on the map and saw they got to TacoBell. The driver was there for over 10 minutes. It was probably close to 20-25 minutes before they left TacoBell and drove in the opposite direction of my address. Then after another 5-10 minutes I got an email for Grubhub saying my order had been canceled. What. The. Heck. I waited over 1 hour 30 minutes for flipping TacoBell... and never got it. Why was it canceled? Why did the driver go to the location, stay for so long and then leave? Now my husband and I are stuck eating granola bars before hitting the sack. What a great vacation... I will NEVER use Grubhub again. And I will tell everyone to NEVER use it either. It says I will get a refund, and I hope so after all that. I see may negative posts on here and I'm surprised this company is still in business. If you want food fast, call in your order or go to fast food yourself!
Ordered for the first time today 9/26/18. The order took 50 minutes. The order was wrong and when I contacted them the issued a $2 refund. I told them I wanted the delivery fee of $9, credit and his comment was "We don't do that!" Even after I told him I was going to give a bad review and tell all people I know about this experience. Their comment was have a great day and boom! He was gone.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Not only did more than half of my order not get delivered, but I was forced to tip a driver that did not deserve 20% since he could not make sure he grabbed the full order.
Accidents happen so that alone is not the whole issue. Of course it was my children's food that was left out and when I asked to have them deliver the complete order they decline and are unable to contact the driver and tell him to complete his job. They can only refund you for the items and expect you to pay an extra delivery fee and an extra tip to another driver and still with no guarantee that you will get the service and foods promised.
My issue comes down to the fact that I'm sick, I'm puking and need to feed my kids. This is the first and last time I will use the service. They should have offered to wave the extra delivery fee and tip in order for me to reorder the food since the error is on their side and I shouldn't have to pay for 2 separate deliveries for a minimal amount of food.
They need to improve their system to ensure all food is delivered as promised and to not charge a customer for an extra delivery when the fault is on their driver. The driver only needs to go back and pick up the remaining order. I'll be leaving this review wherever I can.
I am a Grubhub driver and I completely understand the frustration on the part of the customers. Grubhub is nothing but a greedy corporate machine only interested in screwing over all parties involved for their own gain. I have read multiple articles on how they screw restaurant owners, I have read numerous consumer complaints, and as a driver, I have been screwed by this crappy company just as much, if not more than anyone else! I see complaints of customers receiving their orders late, which Grubhub is responsible for a lot of. How you ask? Well, there used to be a minimum pay per order as well as a minimum hourly guarantee. Those are now both non-existent, which drops the minimum pay for an order significantly, and often times we end up driving more miles for less money, which may be profitable for Grubhub, but not for the drivers. When we receive these super low offers, most of us will reject them. Therefore, those orders get passed around until someone finally accepts them. This may not be the case everytime, but for the most part, that's why a lot of customers receive their food late, because Grubhub has drastically cut our pay and we look for the higher offers in order to make at least decent money. I am not making excuses for bad delivery drivers, because yes, there are some bad ones, however, Grubhub is the only delivery platform that does not allow you to rate the drivers, which takes away from the good drivers(like me). Grubhub is very deceptive in its practices, as they sent out emails to all drivers explaining their new pay model, which was allegedly supposed to put more money in our pockets but we actually see less. They used to pay 50 cents a mile, only from restaurant to the customer, then to make it better for us, they started paying per mile from our location to the the restaurant in addition. The catch: they cut the per mile pay to 22.5 cents! They claim to be so "transparent", yet they never explained that under their new pay model, that we would receive orders for a lot less than we used to receive. Experiencing Grubhubs bs first hand is the reason I would NEVER order through them or recommend anyone else to or even drive for these greedy pigs! They need to be investigated for their decptive practices!
Terrible service and expect your order to be missing items. Grubhub will not offer proper compensation for the mistake and will leave you high and dry. Avoid unless this is your only option, and even then be prepared for disappointment
I've had 3/5 of my orders late. My latest one took over 2 hours and never delivered! They never sent me any notifications or anything. They just simply didn't deliver. Every time I order it takes 1.5-2 hours. I've complained and emailed and customer service doesn't even care! They don't care about their customers. The least they have done is give a $5 credit that expires in 30 days. They don't apologize or give an explanation for their delay. This is the worst service I've ever experienced. Bitesquad isn't much better but at least when they screw up their credit doesn't expire. I will never recommend grubhub to anyone and I am not one to ever write reviews but I feel strongly about this! I just tried DoorDash for my first time and I highly recommend that instead :)
This place is horrible constantly changing your delivery time and orders taking 2-3 hours without apology without service recovery just plain unacceptable
My order was marked delivered to me - called restaurant and it was never picked up. Grubhub told me I'd get a refund in 5-7 days.

This is the second time I've tried GrubHub and will NEVER use it again! Ordered at 3:30, and after having to call them, found out that my order wouldn't get here until 6! This happened once before and when I got my food that time, it was cold and wrong! Never ever again!
Ordered my food and waited 2 hours for it. Once I got it, it was from a whole different restaurant. The driver would not answer my phone calls to contact him and grubhub did nothing about it. I will NEVER EVERRRR use their service again
I ordered from a restaurant and my food was delivered but my item was wrong. I have an allergy to what was added so couldn't eat my $30 order. I chatted with Grubhub and the rep told me she can't do anything about it, it's out of her control because she had the notes in there and to contact the restaurant. She told me that repeatedly when I was saying you are responsible, I placed my order through you. She said anything else before I leave the chat? I said yes, this is an absolutely terrible customer experience, manager please. The manager ended up refunding me $25 after asking if a credit would work. So I got partial money but no dinner after an hour of waiting (& I'm pregnant and very hungry). I wouldn't recommend and won't ever be using with my family again.
Waited 90 min for a pizza and it got cancelled after the 90min wait.
Ordered another Chinese food place using the coupon they gave after randomly cancelling my order, and you just see the driver driving in opposite direction and still no order...
I don't live in a very large town like Los Angeles or San Francisco, but there were 6 restaurants to choose from that came up when I put in my address and I placed an order and was given a 45 minute to an hour delivery time period as it got closer to the hour it then updated and said it was going to be an additional hour in 15 minutes. So I canceled the order and now I'm hungry and pissed off.
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.
Answer: Both. But he is not alone, unfortunately. He only got exposed. Millions others are working in politically intolerant places. We have to change that.
Answer: Yes, it is normal. Original delivery times are almost never met. No drivers, Lost Drivers, Poorly trained or untrained drivers.
Answer: LOL... no kidding right! How can places take 2 hours to get food to you and not necessarily at a peak time. Good luck! Hope you were able to cancel it, but wonder if it showed up in the mean time. For this reason I no longer use a card but pay cash when I get the food. Hope you've managed to eat something by now.

Answer: Answer: Grub Hub does suck big time. No real answer. If you like cold food, delivered late and an "oh well" customer service attitude, Grub Hub is the company you should use.
