Had two orders that delivered fine, but this last one was a CRITICAL FAILURE! Waited almost two hours for an order that was stuck on "in the works". Never have I had such piss poor service before.The help chat was no better, often kicking me off of it for no reason until a kind hearted woman solved my problem, canceled the order and issued a full refund to me. $#*! GRUB HUB! Even if Door Dash has fewer places to order from, they Never $#*!ed up my orders.

Its surprising seeing some of these reviews because I had a great experience! They gave me an estimate of how long it would take and kept me updated and the driver followed instructions precisely. I mean he literally brought it to my door, other places made me walk out to the road to go get it. Super impressed and will be using grubhub again!

Horrible experience

Two hours and still no delivery... finally cancelled order and made my own dinner... probably should have done that in first place... learned my lesson! Never again grubhub!

Don't ever use Grub Hub to order take out, the add on a extra $4.00 a item and your picking it up! Make the call and pay when you get there and save $20.00 bucks

Extremely disappointed

Used GrubHub for the first time placed my order at taco Bell waited for the preparation time got confirmation it was on the way then immediately got confirmation it was canceled and now I have to wait 5 to 10 business days for my money with no explanation to why my order was cancelled oh and by the way now I still have to drive down there and get my food I'll never use GrubHub again

USE DOOR DASH INSTEAD!
I only gave it one star because I didn't have a choice to give it none. This is exactly the second time I've ordered from GrubHub and the second time that they have completely screwed everything up. And to boot instead of making things right by refunding your money and delivering the food, they just cancel the order. And if you're lucky your money might be back in 5 days, if you're lucky. Do yourself a favor, order from DoorDash.

This is the 3rd time I have ordered and had my food made immediately... and not delivered for over an hour and a half! The real problem with this is that i order being told 35-45 minutes... then the time keeps going up! The 20% tip is already included when I order so not that! But when calling grub hub you will be rushed off the phone then if you complain enough they will give you $10 off the next order... which will also be an hour late! When im ordering this as my lunch at work I cant leave to get something else. The cutomer service guy i just spoke with after being told its been an hour with another 30 min on the clock said "oh thats too bad" thats it im done! I will just go back to standard delivery services like Pizza hut employees!

ORDER FROM SOMEPLACE ELSE!

DO NOT ORDER FROM GRUBHUB! Use a different company. Numerous times our orders have come wrong or even upside down. But today took the cake, I was having a bad day at work and decided to splurge. My order was marked as "delivered" but it never came. I contacted customer support and they stated they are unable to get a hold of the driver and they would refund me money but that it will take 5 days to get refunded. Meanwhile, it has been 2 hours, they have done nothing else, and I don't have lunch. Use Eat Street or a different delivery company. These guys obviously will hire anyone that walks in off the street and apparently the drivers don't care, they'll just leave with your food.

Pretty much the worst

First of all, I always tip. So that isn't the issue. However, I've never had my order on time. This last time, the order kept getting delayed. I called to see when I could get it, and the driver was extremely rude and basically told me I was fifth on the list. I don't know why this is such a difficult thing to learn, but delivery food has been a thing for a long time and this doesn't seem to be an issue. Anyway, after all that, I didn't ever get the food. Another time the food had started to become bad. It was fish, and the fish was going off by the time I received it. Honestly, if you can't get the food within a reasonable bracket around the initial ETA, then just be upfront and tell people right off that it'll be an hour and a half so that we can just pick the food up ourselves and not use your service. If the wait time is over twice the eta when I ordered, it's really no longer the order anymore. And if the driver is picking up too many orders in too many disparate places (this driver was 40 minutes away, totally outside of town, when I called, and claimed he'd be 10 minutes), then maybe rearrange?
In the end, I only tried this service because my work is extremely busy and I didn't have time to get dinner. But if it means I won't get the food at all, I might as well not even try.
I wouldn't even be this annoyed (even though I never got my order) if the driver hadn't been so rude and nasty to me. I'm sorry your business model is bad, but I still paid for a meal that wasn't sitting in a car for hours.

Without a doubt Grubhub is the most convenient thing of it's kind. But on more than one occasion, I've paid a pretty penny for an order was late, and something was missing or incorrect. Not sure if Grubhub is to blame, or the restaurant. But everytime I've used door dash, it seemed to be cheaper, with unbeatable timing and the food was always on point. This most recent experience with Grubhub, the food never arrived at all. I was at work and had an order sent to the address where my fiancée was working. The order was running late, which I wasn't surprised. My fiancée was working outside the entire time, but never saw a driver pull up. They left me a missed call and email, which I noticed about 20 minutes later since I was working. From there I called customer service, and they mostly tried to put fault on me for "not answering my phone". For one, the driver never showed up. And even if he did, why would he peel off without ever coming to the door? The woman I spoke with kept assuming I had the driver waiting, and he couldn't get a hold of me. I couldn't get it to sink in that nobody showed up, period. On the upside, she was quick to refund my order with equivalent Grubhub credit, so I can't complain on that.

DO NOT USE THIS APP

I ordered food off this app from a restaurant. Two burgers. They both came and looked like someone stuck a finger through the burger. Order got refunded. An hour later my other brother was hungry and my dad so i gave this app the benefit of the doubt and ordered them a burger each, and two lava cakes. The driver had us waiting 20 minutes on the front before we found him wandering around the hotel. The food was cold. There was only one cake. When i complained about the cake they tell me the driver hasnt got it like im lying or something? AVOID using this app. Go get the food yourself fresh and hot.

Their service has been terrible. A driver came to deliver food and couldn't find my home, which is well marked, and tried to call me but his phone didn't have service. When I notice that he was near I called GrubHub directly, which is the only number they provide, and they put me on hold for 9 minutes and then told me the driver was now too far away to deliver the food. By the time they told me this, everything was closed in town. Too bad they didn't just put me in touch with the driver directly, or have an interface that would allow me to call him.

Never using Grubhub again

I waited 2 hours for my food, it was already 45 minutes late when they cancelled my order because someone else picked it up by mistake. Not the customers problem, they should have resolved this issue with the store. Instead, I had to call and complain to a manager just to get a refund. I'll never use Grubhub again; I've never experienced such horrible customer service. Doordash will be getting my services from now on.

I ordered from Taco Bell for my co-worker and I. Ordered was placed at 144pm and after an hour still no order to be delivered. Another 30 minutes went by. Still no order. Called Taco Bell to ask about order and was told that the driver had picked up my order. Hmm okay... so i called grubhub the first time and talked to a gal and she was going to look into it. Phone got hung up and so i called back again a few minutes later and talked to a gentleman. He was more helpful than the other person. He refunded me and apologized for the experience. This is unfortunate. I wont be using grubhub after this. :(

NEVER again!

So I ordered from KFC to be delivered by GrubHub after seeing an offer for my first DELIVERY, free. I was sick with two viruses, bronchitis, & pneumonia & had zero desire to drive out to pick up some food. After placing my order, it took my "free first DELIVERY" code off & all was well. Or so I thought. First, I get a text telling me my order is almost ready for pickup. No biggie, as I'm new & I'm assuming they're just keeping me informed of the process. Then I get a text stating that my order is ready for pickup. After a second text telling me my order is ready for pickup, I attempt to call KFC... six times! So I log into GrubHub & get on the chat which took forever. They tell me the order was for PICK UP... by me! Now why in the %&>@ would I place an order through GrubHub that I have to go pick up by myself? It's nonsensical! Dude offers me a $10 credit for GrubHub. I say thank you but I just want my order refunded as I'm in no condition to go pick it up, unless you can fix it to where it will be delivered? GrubHub not willing to do anything at all to make this right other than give me a credit to order from them again! I'm sorry, but if you don't make the first screw up right, then I won't be ordering again! I hung up the chat with GrubHub, after leaving some very Choice words that I'm not ashamed of. I somehow managed to drive into KFC & spread my lovely germs as I picked up my order. KFC manager was apologetic & offered me a free cake as well as an additional free beverage because I probably look like walking death. He had nothing good to say about GrubHub! In summary, I can't think of a single reason why anyone would place an order for any restaurant, through GrubHub, that they are picking up on their own?! Why would they not just order it Direct?

The absolute worst!

We ordered pizza and didn't get a notification that restaurant received the order. Called Grubhub to confirm and rep assured me that order was received and will on the way soon. Then I received confirmation that the driver was on the way. 20 minutes later it was canceled. Called Grubhub again and they said the restaurant was closed. Sure. So why did I receive a notification that driver was on his way to me? Gave me credit blah blah blah. Ordered again from another restaurant, ordered was received, 45 minutes later order was cancelled. WTF?! It was late by then and 5 people staying at an Airbnb went to bed hungry. This establishment is a joke!

Food never came

Food never came. Driver never happen to look at notes. They acted like it was my fault. And beat me out of my money and food. I called driver and messaged them they wouldn't answer their phone. Had some stupid name like Ko kou. I think he should just ko kou himself being the mother $#*!er can't read.

I waited for my food and watched as the driver went in the opposite direction... he then said my food was delivered. It wasn't. I called and was told that the driver couldn't reach me - so too bad. What? Had to demand to speak to manager to get refund. And no food.

Refuses to give refunds

My order never got to my place, and then when they confirmed this. They refused to give me a full refund and instead gave me a crap coupon to save 50% off my next meal with them. Horrible service. Never ordering from them ever again.

Grub is charging delivery fee along with service fee and then expect you to tip I mean really just disgusting on top of the tax on the food too expensive I won't be using grub hub anymore I rather walk to the restaurant and get it my self
