Ordered lunch at 12:30PM and said they I would receive my food around 1:30PM. Around 1:35, they said there will be a delay until 1:55-2:05. At 2:10, they said it will be delayed until 2:30! Grubhub customer service called and said driver picked up the food but they are no unresponsive. 2:45 and still no food... NEVER WILL I USE GRUB HUB AGAIN.
I placed an order and never received it. I did get a message about a delay and change of time. After they changed the delivery time I still never received the order. Sent a message for help and they still didn't help me.
GrubHub expects consumers to fork over $25+ for a cup of coffee and an egg sandwich delivered from less than 2 miles away! The total of the two items was a little over $9, then GH charges a $4.50 "fee", plus a fee for the order being "small", plus taxes and then delivery. On top of this, the order took 50 minutes to be delivered. So, if you like paying more than double the cost for ice cold food, GH is the way to go.
Ordered from a restaurant less than 4 miles down the road. ETA changed several times, after 35 minutes contacted customer service and was told they didn't have a driver in my area... I could continue to wait or get a refund... time wasted... never will I order again...
Waited forever to get food. Finally get it and its missing a 2 liter. I called the restaurant and they said they saw the driver grab it. Never ordering through grubhub again.
We order food at 6:25pm tonight and now at 8:25pm my husband is going to the store and just getting it ourselves. What a waste of a night. We both rushed home from work to carve out pumpkins because we've been so busy and haven't had time. Both rushing home from busy stressful days at work... grub hub was to save us that extra hassle of having to go out of our way to grab something and to just get home and now we haven't eaten, haven't carved our pumpkins. After all of that, we contacted customer support and it took the man helping us 25 minutes to call the store and the driver. We ended up just canceling! The rare time we used grub hub and this is why we DON'T. Never again.
I downloaded the GrubHub app because I usually use doordash and I wanted to try different options. I ordered at 6:00 p.m. and the restaurant confirmed my order. I waited till 7:30 and called in to check and see where my order was because it was extremely late. When I realized that the person I was chatting with Oliver was just a bot who had no real answers to any of my questions. All they said was your food will be arriving in 20 minutes cancel order? So I called to speak to a real person and also mention that I didn't ever receive a coupon for a first time order, none of the codes would go through. The guy put me on hold and said that he would give me a credit for my next order. I kindly let him know that I would not be ordering again and to please research where my food was. He put me on hold for about a minute and then hung up. I called back pretty upset this time and let her know that I would like my order canceled. I could see that the driver had finally made it to the restaurant and picked up my order 2 hours late. So my food had been sitting there for 2 hours and it was soggy and they would be no way that I would ever eat that food. That is my first and last experience with GrubHub. Also I asked when my refund would process since my payment went out of my bank account right away, The agent told me 5 days but she had already begun processing the refund. We'll see. This company is an absolute rip-off and I would never ever recommend that anyone use GrubHub. Just stick with door dash. All of you restaurants using GrubHub you really should switch the door dash this is an issue.

SLOTS AVAILABLE IN ATLANTA. GO TO THE APP AND THERES NOT ONE TIME SLOT AVAILABLE. And they sent me a email asking what they can do to help me get in the road. This is after I've been delivering for couple months DoorDash is bad as well. And the restaurants hold you up so your lucky to get one delivery and hour NO WAY TO MAKE MONEY but a good way to give ya something to do for small pay
I have multiple screen shots of my order on THEIR app. They were supposed to credit my account for a order they cancelled. I talked to two different people and they both told me they cannot find my order. I sent the screen shots and they continued to say there's no such order. Funny that it's on my end. The last rep just left the chat without listening to me. I'm a manager, i would NEVER let my employees treat costumers the way i was treated. I'll seriously use doordash for everything. Disgusted with this service.
I've used Grubhub for quite a while. I used to leave them glowing reviews because the service was great! (I'm in Lenexa, KS. Suburb of Kansas City). For the past 4 months they have been AWFUL. I guess I'm an idiot for continuing to order from them, but my past 4 orders have been nothing short of a nightmare. Obviously this service was a great idea executed by short sighted morons and they have lost control of even the simplest of tasks. I urge everyone looking to have food delivered to look elsewhere, especially if you expect a refund for food that never got delivered. These clowns will actually charge you for orders that you did not receive. And then promise you a discount on your next order. WTF?
It took 3 hours to get a simple chicken sandwich and a salad from restaurant that is 10 minutes away from my house. After waiting for two hours for my food, I tried to cancel the order, but grubhub does not allow you to do so because " restaurant started preparing your order". I spoke with customer service, they assured me that I'll have my order in the next 10 min and 10% discount for the next order, when in real life it took another hour. I don't want to use your service again. 10% is nothing for 3 hours wait for food, that came soggy and cold, which makes me think, that food was prepared a long time ago. It was just sitting somewhere waiting to be delivered.
This is the msg I sent to Grubhub: "No food delivery. I am so upset with Grubhub. Just got home from hospital & had no food. Ordered from grubhub with disastrous results. Contacted Grubhub and your customer service was not willing to have my food delivered and so he said will issue refund which will take 5 business day. 10:00 pm at night, hungry with no food and out $80. Nice job Grubhub. Your service sucks, your customer service sucks. I almost called 911 to go back to hospital again. Was so furious. Your driver kept driving around & kept me on the phone for over 30 minutes. Said he does not have map app or Gps. I was standing on my balcony yelling... ridiculous, to go through so much pain for a meal. I will Never again Order from Grubhub. I will report you to Better Business Bureau. You still have my money. Shame on you. "
I was out of town, (Hickory NC) had not eaten all day (was driving) at appx 7:00 pm I ordered off grub hub. I noticed when I started checking the time that the order delivery time was getting later every time. I was told Grub Hub only had 2 drivers working. I called the restaurant directly at 8:40 and was told Grub Hub told them it would be 10:15! And they closed at 9:30, so i wouldn't be getting it (i was 3rd in line of 6 orders they had for grub hub. Took me 15 min to get in touch with someone to get money refunded, and 10 min on the phone. Will definitely check out other options.
I ordered dinner for me and my two children last night. I tracked the progress and was surprised to see that the tracking said it was delivered when no food has arrived. I called Grubhub who I should look on my front porch for the food. No food was there. The customer service told me they could not refund my money but would give me a credit for my next order. I paid $47 for dinner that never came.
We've ordered three times - first time was fine. Second time it was "delayed" and food was cold. Right now it has been delayed again. Over 20 minutes since last estimated delivery time. Ice cold again? Never using them again. Disappointed is the least I can say.
Grubhub is the most unprofessional delivery company ever. My order was placed at 4:50pm to a Ihop that was 30mins away from my law firm. Not only that there is a ihop less than 5mins from my workplace an GrubHub decided to place my order with a location on Loch Raven Blvd which is 30mins away. Why allow a order to process if it is too far? Doesn't make any sense. I called back into customer care an all they could say was "A driver did not accept the order". But Grub Hub took the money off my card. How pressed are these people to take money rather than picking a location near by. I will not be ordering from Grub Hub ever again. I will be placing a review on other sites as well about this issue. My order is now cancelled, I gotten a confirmation number over the phone. So my money better be on my card the day he stated it would be. Now I see why They have MORE NEGATIVE REVIEWS than positive reviews. They are GHETTO!
The driver was delivering to a university. Instead of consulting a campus map to find the office they asked a couple students where it was, and since it is not a student classroom building they did not know. When I didn't respond fast enough to the driver's text, they left and the company would not give me a refund for the driver's error.
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.

Answer: Yes, it is normal. Original delivery times are almost never met. No drivers, Lost Drivers, Poorly trained or untrained drivers.
Answer: LOL... no kidding right! How can places take 2 hours to get food to you and not necessarily at a peak time. Good luck! Hope you were able to cancel it, but wonder if it showed up in the mean time. For this reason I no longer use a card but pay cash when I get the food. Hope you've managed to eat something by now.

Answer: They just don't care. Company motto must be "customer comes last". They simply trying to salvage whatever market share they can before they get bought out by a superior service that actually cares about customers.
Answer: Nothing. By this inaction I would say to quit using this bad business. Go with UberEats or maybe try getting your own food.
