My wife was Set to have surgery and we need to order food in for her the night before as I was out of town. We ordered food they did not deliver it we called to find out where food was they told us that it was for us to go pick up. What?!? We had given them a tip to deliver to the address that we had given them and they refused to deliver it and said we had to go pick it up when we called them and even talk to Stephanie and then their manager they refused and were completely rude. Unbelievable I hope this company goes out of business immediately they suck!
I ordered from GrubHub and the restaurant delivered the wrong food even though they charged me for the more expensive item.
I sent a message to GrubHub and they promptly told me that a refund has been issued and that the restaurant has taken care of that. I was actually quite impressed until I realized that it was a lie. Total sham. Ripoff. See my transcripts with GrubHub Customer service below.
They basically call me a liar and insist that the refund has been made. In case I am not satisfied I need to contact my fu$$ing bank and have them investigate... How many days before they disappear? Not many.
I have deleted the app and will NEVER AGAIN use them.

Grubhub has released the funds and issued out the refund.
You can reach out to your bank regarding this transaction and show them the receipt. They will be able to pull up the transaction, and possibly push the funds through.

The worst service ever tacobell and grab hub. Got the delivery without a single sauce nor silverware. Endup spending another $5 to get 10 sauce for total 9 pizzas and bowls order of $38.00.
My advice if u have to use their nasty service make sure ur order is good before the driver leave otherwise dont recive the delivery.
Grab hub we cant send the driver again for sauce, we cant cancel the order since the order items was ok and the sauce is freecharge so no refund. Their solutions a $10 coupon for next order...
Ok! Whats am supposed to do with that $38 order and waiting time for the wrong krder and another waiting time for new $10 order.

They didn't deliver my $60 order and still charged me even after I contacted them. Good luck staying in business.
The driver called and sounded angry and told us to come to him in the parking lot. He did not bring our food to us we had to go to him and the bag of food was left open so our food was cold and a drink was missing from the order and it looked like he was drinking the missing drink. He also made us reach into his car though the window to get the food bag. Overall it was bad service and a very sketchy experience. I will not be ordering from Grubhub again.
*edit - there were no napkins or utensils included. The potatoes were soggy and cold. Really wish I had my drink but they messed up and didn't give it to me
They had promos advertising that if you refer a friend you will get $10 or $12 dollar credit. I referred a friend 4 months ago and never received credit. I let this go thinking maybe she mistakenly did something wrong and didn't link through. Today my brother used my referral code, and again nothing. I contacted customer support and they told me because they're "refreshing" their system they're not accepting codes. Then why is it advertised and why do I get a link to share my referral code? And why did it go through on my friend and brothers end? This is false advertisement and going through these reviews, sure enough I'm not the only one this has happened to! It's been ongoing for a while and seems like they don't care. Customer service agent was useless and didn't help. If This company keeps upcoming their shady false advertisement they're going to get sued. I will be deleting the app and definitively not referring ANYONE.
I was out of town for work and ordered from GrubHub because I was not familiar with the area. It took over an hour and a half to arrive. Was ice cold, had no fork, knife or napkin. I ordered a southwest omelet with mixed fruit and wheat bread. I received the omelet minus the sour cream, the mixed fruit was just cantaloupe with 2 grapes and banana bread. No butter for the banana bread. When I contacted customer service they offered me a refund for the sour cream. I will not use the service again!
I have ordered food from this multiple times and after waiting for a length of time my food was never delivered even after a customer service rep said a driver was en route to me. How the $#*! does this stay in business?
I highly suggest staying away from the broken monstrosity that is this service.
This was one of the very rare times using this app.
We put our zip code into their app online and a different restaurant popped up 3 hours away than the one we normally visit. Of course, we thought it was the one near us because everything looks identical and we ordered for pickup. We went to the location near us once it was ready and there was nothing there.
We called customer service then to figure out what the heck happened.
"I'm sorry there is nothing I can do for you" on repeat for 30 minutes is what we got. No matter how we tried to explain what happened. No matter who we spoke to. And as soon as there's any pause in conversation, no matter how short, "Thank you for calling and have a great day" is said as soon as humanly possible and then they hang up.
We have no food, no way of getting it without traveling for 3 hours. The restaurant doesn't have delivery people. Grubhub won't do any refunds. Won't send anyone to deliver to make up for their massive glitch issue. There's a reason we rarely use the app. Absolutely will never use grubhub again.
SCREW GRUBHUB. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have been sitting at my office window and was told the food was delivered. No driver was ever here and did not answer my phone calls. Grubhub refuses to refund the order or have it redelivered. Use DoorDash or Postmates or any other food delivery service. I am so fed up with this company's customer service. They've lost an entire office of weekly orders. I hope they're pleased with themselves.
NEVER again. I placed two orders. They called and said the food wasn't available on the first two so I placed another two orders for a different restaurant. The driver came to the gate and I told him exact instructions to get inside. He never showed. I called him 3 times and it said "your call is rejected". Then when I FINALLY got to an actual person at the main number they said they will not refund my $30. NEVER AGAIN.

Grubhub is the absolute worst service I have EVER used. My order is ALWAYS late, they charge twice as much as the local restaurants do for delivery, and my deliverer is always Rude. Their customer service department is terrible, and not to mention rude as well. Their system is no good. I will never be using them again.
Placed our order, 25 mins later alert saying out for delivery, one hour later still no food. Several calls to the restaurant in this time period. They could not get driver to answer phone. Suddenly shows "order delivered" on computer. Called restaurant to inform them still no food. Unanswered calls to driver. Call to GH in Chicago, they say driver is within 5 mins call them back after that. After 10 mins called Chicago and demanded refund. They said driver attempted to call us (lie) and deliver (lie). After speaking with manager finally got 100% refund. Never again, GH!

Grub Hub driver did not come to my address. Circled my area as I seen on gps map for 20 minutes without calling for appropriate directions. Then give my food to someone else. I called Grubhub for some answers and they told me. Driver attempted to deliver the food and therefore it's nothing they would do. No refund nothing basically robbery without a gun. I'm been dealing with doordash for a year now and I'm happy for there service with no issues. That's my lesson trying to deal with unprofessional underdeveloped service providers (Grubhub) beware and do not use them warning
They upated the status to delivered and never informed me of it. This is a terrible business. I wouldnt trust them at all.
I placed an order to be delivered to my wife while she was at work. The driver got to her address, called my number and texted me, and when I didn't respond (because I am a teacher and cannot take a call in the middle of teaching a class) the driver left without even attempting to go to the front door. I then contacted Grubhub through the app's help line about the situation and was told that I cannot get a refund, and had to reorder if I wanted the delivery to be sent. She then offered me a discount code and then ended the message without asking if I had been satisfied with her service. I tried calling their contact line and explained my situation on the phone. The operator told me that I was offered a discount and then hung up on me. I called a third time and prefaced the conversation with the fact that I was very agitated and before even being able to explain my situation, the operator hung up on me. Not once did I yell or swear at any of these operators. I called a third time and immediately asked for a manager. After waiting five minutes the manager came on the line. I told him my situation and he sent me a code for the amount I spent on the delivery (not a refund to my card). As helpful as this was, upon using the code to checkout, the app told me that the discount only applied to the cost before taxes, tip, and delivery fees. So the code I was given for my inconvenience did not even cover the cost of reordering my order. This is not how business should be done, and the fact that I had to call three times (because I was hung up on twice) is despicable.
We tried to order from a restaurant we often order and get delivery from. We have ordered here many times on GrubHub and have never had an issue getting delivery. For whatever reason, this time it was accidentally set to Pickup, which we can't do because our car is in the shop. So first I called the restaurant and they said to contact GrubHub. We did and GrubHub told us that it was impossible to switch it from pickup to delivery because we had already placed the order. They said they couldn't possibly assign a driver. Not only that, they also told us we couldn't cancel the order! Basically forcing a charge on my card for food that would never be eaten. Oh but they gave a 30 dollar grubhub credit. I just can't believe how backward and inflexible their systems is. Blows my mind!
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.

Answer: Yes, it is normal. Original delivery times are almost never met. No drivers, Lost Drivers, Poorly trained or untrained drivers.

Hope you were able to cancel it, but wonder if it showed up in the mean time. For this reason I no longer use a card but pay cash when I get the food. Hope you've managed to eat something by now.

Answer: Answer: Grub Hub does suck big time. No real answer. If you like cold food, delivered late and an "oh well" customer service attitude, Grub Hub is the company you should use.
Answer: They just don't care. Company motto must be "customer comes last". They simply trying to salvage whatever market share they can before they get bought out by a superior service that actually cares about customers.
Answer: Nothing. By this inaction I would say to quit using this bad business. Go with UberEats or maybe try getting your own food.
