Grub hub used to be a nice thing, something has changed with their company. Me and husband ordered 40.00 in food they sent 2 texts saying delivery would be late, then it said food was delivered even though no one attempted to deliver our food, no one showed up. I called and they lied said delivery driver was here, my husband waited outside. They would not refund my money and I would say delivery drivers eat your food that you pay for. Grubhub will probably be out of business soon. Should be a class action lawsuit for robbery and fraud.

Bad

If there was a star lower than one that's what I would have rated it. Waited two hours for my food as the time got farther and farther out. Called the restuarant food was ready but had not been picked up. Started a chat with customer service where they checked on the food and said it will be there at 9:22, keep in mind I placed my order at 7. The representative said would you like to wait for it I will give you 20% your next order or would you like to cancel it. I said cancel it! At this point my food will be cold and my husband has to go to bed so I will be paying for food he can not eat. To which he said yeah I get you I'll cancel the order. There was never an offer to comp the order or give us the 20% off even though we canceled for our trouble, nothing. We went to bed angry and without dinner. I will never use the app again and will make sure I warn everyone I can find not to either.

STAY AWAY

I use Grubhub, doordash and carry out menu pretty regularly. Tonight I ordered from grubhub before 7:30, and I received a message that I would receive my order between 8:20-8:30. At 8:50 no food and order showed it was still being prepared. Tried calling grubhub and received a message that they had high call volume and to call the restaurant. The food had been sitting at the restaurant ready and no one had come to pick it up. While I was on hold for an operator at grubhub I received a text that my order would arrive between 9:50-10. Over 2 hours and cold food!? I complained, and received no explanation or apology. Completely unacceptable. Read the reviews and go elsewhere

Never Got My Food

Never use Grubhub. I never received my food I ordered and paid for. After a hour after ordering a hour passed by. My order was marked as delivered. I never received it. After contacting the "friendly" and "helpful" customer service representative, and being hung up on; I was told there was nothing they could do. I was without my food, and had to pay for food I NEVER received. So basically, they are charging me for a service I never received! How is this not criminal. I was pretty angry, and have no understanding how this is not fraud. Never use Grubhub! Their theives!

I ordered food for my grand daughter because she was in school late. After an hour she calls me about the food. I call the restaurant and they say they never received my order from Grub Hub. I call Grub Hub and they tell me my order was blocked. They can't tell me why, but they would let me know in 48 hours. Imagine me telling my grand daughter to wait for 48 hours. They never even called me to say they had a problem.

Got my food faster then the folks who left no tip try leaving a 10 collar tip instead.of 1 dollar no ones going to go out of their way for a 6 dollar payout in rush hlur

Terrible Company

We've had multiple bad experiences! And each time, whether they deliver the wrong food, take waayy too long to deliver, drive in the opposite direction for an hour, etc... They NEVER do anything about it. We end up without our food after waiting forever, and then all they do is refund us. No delivery credit, no re-ordering the food, nothing. The customer service people are terrible too. One "chat" rep ended a chat after I hadn't said anything for 20 seconds and it said "I haven't heard from you in awhile so I'm ending the chat." And then I was put back into the cue at position 45. When in the middle of our conversation. Awful company. We're done with grub hub and you should be too! Support ubereats or DoorDash instead. Much better customer service.

I hate this whole company. Grub count your days. Sure it was only 5 dollars but the fact that I was charged twice. All because you guys f'd up the order.

Please people do not use this app!
I ordered food from grabhub and I never get food delivered. I contcted customer care and was told that a deliver guy tried to contact me but I didn't response so he left. My grabhub screen said "delivered" but not Exactly delivered. He just came to parking lot and called wrong number then I was checking parking lot, I saw no one.
I asked money back since I didn't get any food. But what they said surprised me. They said they can't do money back. There is a rule, delivery drivers can't knock doors! So they have to call the clients when they arrivedat parking lot. Then if no one response the phone, then they can leave with food! Who knows this rule except grabhub!
So long story short, they steal my 45 ( It's including deliver tips!) And I got nothing but waiting 2 hours! Also the customer care cut the line before I was finished talking!
Horrible company! That's how they make money!
People please please do not throw your money for nothing!

Are you serious?

I placed an order of Fettuccini Alfredo with Chicken and Tiramisu. I got Fried Zucchini, Pasta e Fagioli and Eggplant Parmigiana. The restaurant gave me a refund the next day. A week later, the Delivery Charge and Tip still had not been refunded. I contacted GrubHub to ask about that refund. It was explained to me that while the restaurant gave me a refund, GrubHub would not be because, after all, I did receive a delivery. Yep, it was the wrong order, but it was delivered.

I am so not joking.

And the tip, the driver still earned that.

Thank God I put it on PayPal. They got my money back. Thru with GrubHub. There are too many other companies out here to put up with their nonsense.

An hour after my food was prepared and ready, I had to call Grubhub because they never picked it up. Grub hub wanted me to pay full price and offered me 20% off my next order. What garbage! Their customer service is complete trash!

Grubhub is great. Food is nearly always on time, and when it isn't they let me know when it is coming. The website works well (unlike some of their competitors). The customer service is great; never had a problem with one of their delivery people. And their promotions to keep you coming back are a lifesaver when you don't have much money nor time to spend on food.

Grubhub treats their customers well. Congratulations Grubhub, you've earned my loyalty; I don't think I'll be using any of your competitors any time soon.

Also, what's up with all the obviously botted 1 star reviews? Like it isn't even hard to tell lol.

Worst customer service
October 31, 2019

Worst experience ever. We placed our order at 6 p.m. and were told it would be delivered by 7 pm. At 7:15, we receive a notification that our order has been delayed until 8 pm. When I contacted the restaurant, the manager said out order has been ready but there is no GrubHub driver. When I contacted GrubHub, the customer service rep couldn't care less about the delay.

Driver never showed. Driver would not answer my calls or texts. Food showed as delivered. Checked with all neighbors and none had received the food. Driver clearly ran off with the food. GrubHub only offered me 50% off on my next order up to a max value of $ 50! I lost $ 150 and they offer me $ 50? Not right at all--beware!

THIS SERVICE IS JUST AS BAD AS DOOR DASH !! THEY JUST CANCEL OUT ORDERS WHEN THEY GET READY & THEN YOU HAVE TO WAIT 5-7 TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK !! I PLACED AN ORDER TODAY VIA GRUB HUB FROM A LOCAL RESTAURANT & GRUB HUB CANCELLED MY ORDER & CHANGED IT ON THEIR WEBSITE AS IF THE RESTAURANT IS CLOSED UNTIL TOMORROW ! Their driver's eat good!

I haven't ordered through Grubhub in a while as I had a very poor experience with a delivery and then their customer service un-professionals.

So I decided to give them another shot. Ok maybe I didn't want to pay a $6 delivery fee to Favor.

I placed my order. Was ready outside for when they arrived, as it was a late lunch, and nothing.
I checked the time they had sent me and it had past. I tracked my order through the app and it said it had been delivered. It had not.
I went to the Help icon on the app and reported that I had not received it.

The customer (didn't care) agent said she was sorry and that she had checked with the driver and he said he had delivered.
I again let her know that it had not.
She again said she was sorry and that she was giving me a refund. I'm pretty sure that's what they said last time and it never happened.
I asked if they could just resend my order that I should have received and she said "no" of course.

Moral of the story - Don't waste your time ordering from these crooks. Spend the extra 3.01 with Favor and actually get your food.

Absolutely a mess

I tried to order 9 dollars worth of food. I was presented with a delivery fee at 3 dollars. A small order fee at 2 dollars. When it selects 20% tip for the driver rather then using 20% of my order it added all the fees up and took 20% form that equaling a 3.50 tip. I'm happy to tip the driver but why am i giving grubhub 5+dollars as well? I've had much more bad experiences with this service. Will never use grub hub again and i highly recommend you do not either.

Grubhub stock fell 40% today. I see why.

Horrible service from Grubhub. I ordered $46 worth of food that never showed up and was marked as delivered. I called the restaurant. They confirmed that my food was ready, but Grubhub never arrived to pick it up. Grubhub did refund my money, but refused to provide any discount for future deliveries. What about my time waiting? Now I don't have time to eat and I'm starving.

Grubhub made a mistake, and they should try correct that mistake. Offering a refund in this case does not make the consumer and Grubhub even. The consumer loses time and energy. Grubhub looses nothing. This is not fair and its not right. No more grubhub for me. There are plenty of competitors to switch to.
