Ordered from a Taco Bell 3 miles away. After getting an update that the order was "on its way", The delivery app showed the driver going the opposite direction. Watched him driving everywhere but to my house. 40 minutes after he got the order I contacted GrubHub to let them know it was late. They offered a 10% discount on my next order! I told them if my foos was sitting it the delivery vehicle for over 30 minutes, I didn't want it!. They say I will get a full refund, but no dinner tonight!

I decided to give grub hub a try after using DoorDash and Uber eats and I've got to say NEVER will I ever use them Again! I placed a order at 6:50pm waited till 8:40pm before calling to cancel. Called the restaurant at 7:50pm and they said the driver never showed up. Also they don't give the drivers contact so you can check on your order. What a waste of time. Honestly their drivers are some of the most laziest people.
I placed an order for the first time tonight and never will again. The restaurant page I was ordering from had delivery selected, yet without notifying me it changed it to pickup as I went to the place order page. I placed my order and was like why does it say "pick-up"? Contacted their customer service only to be told I had selected pickup and if i had wanted delivery I should have chosen it on the restaurant page... which I had. UGH*. I was also told it was too late to change it or cancel the order. So I was stuck having to pick something up which I didn't want to do and was the very reason I had chosen to give GrubHub a try in the first place. So basically, do not trust the website and don't bother with customer service, they cant help with anything!
Waited for two hours to be told by the restaurant that grubhub never sent anyone to pick up the order. Starving and furious.
Super slow and they hide hidden fees in taxes. I will definitely never use this app again door dash is way faster and straight forward
Service? Ha! Just a waste of time! We never received our order and got a first time order coupon after we placed our first order. Communication was terrible and sounded like it was of Indian descent, not that there is anything wrong with that. Overall, it was a very bad experience and we wanted to hopefully prevent other people from going through it, too.
I've used Grubhub for years and they were always very good and there were never issues with my order. HOWEVER, within the past 5 months, I have ordered maybe 18 times (for myself and other friends) and 10 out of the 18 times, the ETA was pushed back at least an hour. 8 out of the 18 had been cancelled due to the order "not being able to be picked up and delivered" and the other 2 times the driver made off with my food - I watched them drive to a separate location and cancel my order. Grubhub did nothing about it and would not refund me back my money.
I don't know why, but this company has gone to complete $#*!. I don't know why I've continued to order but right now I'm waiting on an order that was supposed to be delivered 2 hours ago and it hasn't been picked up, and Grubhub refuses again to do anything about it.
1 star for them, please save your money and time and don't order from this company!
They said it would be 30 minutes then added 15 minutes (no big deal) then message saying the order was cancelled. If I knew this was going to be so hard to fulfill I would have drove myself or went to bed instead of waiting 45 minutes to be told they couldnt pick up my order!
After a long, hard day working. I placed my order for KFC around 7:30 pm. I tracked my order for a delivery time. It was scheduled for 8:20-8:30. That time came and went. The delivery was adjusted to 8:40-8:50 on the tracker. That time came and went too! I waited an additional 40 minutes. I called KFC and an employee said that the driver came and was told that they did not have part of the order. I did NOT get a call from anyone to update me about my order! KFC left it up to the GH driver to call. I was very irritated at that point. 2 hours after placing order. I called the GH customer care number. The rep spoke VERY broken something because it sure as hell WAS NOT English! I had to give my phone number and email address 6 times before he understood what I was saying. After all that waiting and frustration... no food and a refund that will that 5 days to get is absolutely ridiculous! Never again. I will stick with Door Dash or have restaurant deliver directly to me.
Always very late And at least twice it look like some of my food was already eaten and I was able to get a refund on both occasions but still gross the lateness I could deal with people putting their hands inside my food no thank you
Every time I order from Grubhub, the food is late, cold and I vow NEVER to order again. Well this is it. Food is over an hour late, called the restaurant and they assured me it was on the way. Too much of a hassle!
1st order and tried to apply the code. Did not work. Contacted customer care via chat option. Chat box kept closing and i had to get connected to another rep 4 times. Out of frustration contacted their customer support via phone. Talked to rep name Cesar C. Told him the situation and he kept asking the same question. I told him forget about it and hung-up and cursing at myself. He calls me back and starts swearing at me. Hope that punk gets fired.
Called their customer care for complaint about the situation and this lady (forget her name) helped me very well. I'd give her 5 stars but negative star to Cesar and grubhub with their defects in their web and the app.
It was promoted they were available to order from on Grubhub. After placing an order for delivery for two cheesesteaks and fries with more than an hour before closing the order was accepted. I then received a notification 20 minutes later that the order was delayed. After waiting patiently despite this 35 minutes later a notification came in that the order was cancelled and if payment had gone through it could take 5-10 business days for a refund. This is all so ridiculous and completely unacceptable. Got a response from the restaurant and they are blaming it all on a Grubhub. Have no idea which to believe, so I'm giving both bad reviews.
Grub Hub doesn't even deserve one star. I placed an order from McDonald's for my cousin. He was hospitalized so the food would go there. I added very detailed information about the hospital's location (including cross street) I also added the room number and his name. I received a call from the driver but I couldn't understand a word he was saying because he could not speak English. The driver harassed me with over three phones calls. Each time I could not understand a word he was saying. I called Grub Hub and the customer service gentleman had broken English so it made it very hard to communicate with him as well. I finally found out that the driver had left the food in the hospital lobby. It took over an hour to get this situation settled. The food was cold and inedible by the time my cousin received it. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
I paid for my food and I never received it, the customer service also did nothing to rectify the situation.
They burned me for $27. They said they delivered and never did, I ordered an hour before lunch and when I went to go eat the food had not been delivered. When I called they said it was delivered, then changed there story that the driver only attempted to deliver.
This is by far the WORST deliver service out there. My food has not once been remotely near on time! Not to mention my food is always cold and soggy! I can't even begin to tell you how rude and useless customer service is. I will not order delivery from Grubhub again!
Twice now, ordered from GrubHub and the delivery driver kept my order saying that it was delivered. This company needs to pay it's employees a livable wage so they can buy and eat their own food. No follow through service just a refund and a screw you. How is this "business" still operating in Colorado Springs, CO? Wish I had a negative star to choose from.
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.
Answer: Both. But he is not alone, unfortunately. He only got exposed. Millions others are working in politically intolerant places. We have to change that.
Answer: Yes, it is normal. Original delivery times are almost never met. No drivers, Lost Drivers, Poorly trained or untrained drivers.
Answer: LOL... no kidding right! How can places take 2 hours to get food to you and not necessarily at a peak time. Good luck! Hope you were able to cancel it, but wonder if it showed up in the mean time. For this reason I no longer use a card but pay cash when I get the food. Hope you've managed to eat something by now.

Answer: They just don't care. Company motto must be "customer comes last". They simply trying to salvage whatever market share they can before they get bought out by a superior service that actually cares about customers.
Answer: Nothing. By this inaction I would say to quit using this bad business. Go with UberEats or maybe try getting your own food.
