Please do not use groopdealz. I ordered two personalized ornaments on 4 November for gifts for Christmas and they still have not arrived - they listed an expected date on 6 December and everytime I contacted the vendor they said they were shipped and then after a week I contacted them and they said they were delayed and "now they are shipped", but its 29 December and I have no ornaments for Christmas gifts... I guess for the tree next year with 2013 on it.
I also ordered 6 scarves and they lied about shipping them 3 times. They finally sent a tracking number with DHL and they used the same tracking number for both sets of colors I bought. Well the scarves arrived on 20 December (ordered on 27 November with expected shipping on 9 December, but they didn't ship until 16 December) and they only sent one color! I contacted them on 20 December telling them I need those scarves and a new tracking number. They said they were "delayed" on that color and have now shipped them without a tracking number and should receive them in 3-5 business days. I was hopefull they were arrive on 24 December but they are still not here on 29 December... that is 7 mail days! That is double the days they said to expect.
Groopdealz will lie to keep you happy, but they have no intention of keeping their word.
I placed an order with groopdealz on 9/16/13 for a pair of leggings sold by winter lennon. First of all when I got the leggings they were a completely different color than was shown in the pictures. I understand colors do vary from actual item to computer screen images but really, white in a picture should not look brown in real life and navy blue should not look bright aqua blue. So the first problem was these leggings look like a little kids color scheme, totally different than the pictures (I've even taken my own pictures to put on the computer to compare and still, totally different). Not only were these the wrong color but when I tried to put them on I couldn't get them past my knees! I wear a women's small in most leggings and sometimes even an extra small, but this size small must have been for little kids though it was shown as women's leggings. Not only that but they had barely any stretch in them at all. Just terrible quality, not leggings at all.
All of that was probably the manufacturer's fault (Winter Lennon) so I don't really blame groopdealz for this except that they should screen the products the sell to make sure they are good quality. The problem came when I contacted customer service, they were very nice (only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one) but they never did anything to help me. No refund, no return address, they just said they would try to contact the maker of the leggings. I went back and forth with them for about 6 emails before I decided it wasn't worth it. I'm only out $16 anyway, but I'll stay away from this and any site that doesn't give me the option to return something TO THEM and refund me directly when there's an issue.
I still shop with other discount sites like jane.com because there I know they'll take care of any issue I have directly.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this site... I have gotten some cute, amazing little gems! I almost love them so much I hate them! Haha Their are some amazing wonderful artists and creative people tied to the site and I highly recommend...
